He is however, overprotective over his sisters, and will fight like a guard dog for them.
★ He enjoys parties and having fun as well, as a young boy he is curious and playful, always causing some sort of mischief and pulling as many pranks as he can. He is often extroverted and will want to make as many friends as he can, overall a friendly lion, perhaps too friendly.
★ Curious, Gekko will want to learn other languages and wish to become fluent in them. So he can communicate with others and understand what is being said. Eventually, proving himself useful in certain situations.
★ As he grows, he will end up flirtatious as hell, especially around pretty girls. Perhaps a heart breaker during his teen years. His romantic life will be all over the place, and he may need a good teaching or two from the adults in his life to guide him through the right direction.
★ Extremely loyal to his family, and those who share his blood. He will do anything for them, blindly. He doesn't care who or what or where, he will do what is asked of him. He will die for them, if it really came down to it. Despite his lazy and carefree demeanor, he does really, truly care for his family.

Detailed Personality:

Marlowe’s emotions rule her, and she leads with her heart not her head. Her heart, however, is usually melodramatic and overreactive.
Her sensitivity is a double-edged sword, as she’s both very honest and sincere, but can also turn volatile if the feeling is negative.

The Queen of Yearning, she is prone to idealizing the women she likes, falling in love with the idea of them she’s made in her head. In romantic endeavors, at least in her younger years, Marlowe struggles to take off her rose-colored glasses with the women she adores. Of course, life and love can’t be perfect, which sets her up for disappointment when reality inevitably falls short of her dreams.

Marlowe will wilt at the slightest criticism, taking any critique as a slight against her personally. This is probably her greatest weakness, as it makes it difficult, if not impossible, to address any other weaknesses or talk through issues.

Marlowe is an extroverted creature, finding fulfillment in other’s attention. She’s not shy, willing to make the first move in friendships or romance.
Marlowe is a very devoted friend, lover, and family member. With her heart on her metaphorical sleeve, it’s either all or nothing with her.
This devotion to those she loves has a sharp edge, however, as she can easily become jealous if she feels others prefer, or pay more attention to, someone else.

Marlowe wants to be kind, but often has to make the conscious effort to not put her own best interests first. The soft, compassionate side of herself is usually at war with her more selfish desires._{BG — ART — CODE}

INSIDE ✦ gentle -- maybe too gentle. needs to experience the world to understand its cruelty. naive. emotional. hopeless romantic. shirks responsibilities. easy-going. often falls into the shadows of her louder, more eccentric siblings, but doesn't loathe them for it. more of less of a pacifist, except in the face of great injustice. heart over head. playful. girlish. caretaker. "i can change them". lacks the grit required for self-preservation; selfless. you will break -- but oh, you will also heal.

OUTSIDE ✦ from her first breath, is is evident that she will never amount to any sort of large or opposing figurine. she is delicate in her youth, a little bit slower and a little bit weaker than the rest -- but that warm fire forever burns within her gaze, glowing chocolate and mahogany and alight with wonder. while some may have thought that the runt would eventually catch up to the size and stature of her siblings, they would, unfortunately, be wrong in such an assumption; for she will forever be a petite creature, stealthy and quick and unassuming in all of the ways that one could be.

the frei daughter will, however, grow into her own sort of demure beauty. it will be the simple kind, without flashy pearls and extravagant designs -- rather, it will be the kind of beauty that is tender and familiar and sweet, her features soft and elegant and draped in sun-kissed shades of caramel. high-cheekbones, wispy lashes, and thin, velvet lips will one day round out the woman's face, with markings scattered across her frame that announce her as a messy melting pot of her trilateral parentage.



PREVIEW ✦ A shrill sound of shock slipped from between the babe's lips as the stranger's dark form came rolling towards her, sending up a cloud of dirt and debris from the meadow's floor as he did. Faie managed to avoid impact by barely an inch, darting to the side, ears folded back - but her speed did not account for her clumsiness, nimble limbs quick to twist and pretzel as she shifted her weight to the right, tripping over herself as she, too, met the earth in one, slick swoop.

She laid there for what felt like an eternity, ears ringing and her throat raw - but when she finally found her composure again, head shaking and elbows propping her up for a better view of what that bulldozer of a cub had done, it was then that she saw the extent of the damage. "My flowers!" She cried out, brows furrowing in childlike grief as a paw raised to the velvet edges of her lips. Her bouquet, that had been so tediously collected beneath the lull of spring's first warm sun, now laid crumbled and smushed, paw-prints and tears littering the edges of the pastel petals. He had completely destroyed all of her hard work.

"Look at them," The paw slipped gingerly from in front of her lips then, so that one, flexed toe could point in the direction of the catastrophe, as she felt a surge of emotion swell in her stomach. It only took a few moments for that ebbing sense of disappointment to shift from her belly, to her chest, to her throat, before finally reaching the wide, batting eyes of the child. "They're, they're --" Her voice choked, caught somewhere in her throat as she looked upon the once-beautiful display, finally lifting herself back up upon her haunches, just in time to finish her sentence: "-- ruined." The single word was emitted lowly as small tears finally spilled from the corners of her eyes, slipping down her plush, bronzed cheeks and streaking the hairs there dark and damp.

langley is that slippery weasel you have to keep an eye on before you lose her to god knows where. when you do find her, she's doing god knows what and you realize you should not have blacked out for that half second because you were too tired from lack of sleep. ( and that lack of sleep was because langley, prissy and bratty langley, couldn't be put to sleep because her beddings just an inch too flat for her ) then, comes the fun part. langley knows, she knows painfully and obscenely well what's going on around her. you think she has a third eye somewhere, a second set of ears on her, and some kind of sixth sense embedded into her the moment she was born.

so you and her make eye contact, or rather she sees you first, and all of a sudden she's bolting away. her small stature makes running easier and her astute knowledge of the land's layout makes it impossible for you to find her after a while. it’s her vindictiveness keeping her away from you for not fulfilling her order, you realize. others will continue searching, but you know better than to do that after the nth time.

instead, you turn around and go to langley's parents, because langley only obeys their words. she has two moms and one dad, bringing any of them here will make the girl listen. listen she does, because without hesitation you see her, chin tilted and chest held high as she walks toward you with a slight sashay in her hip. she has that absolute shit-eating grin on her face because she knows she won. the little brat looks at you, but you see the edge of her lips quirk into a smirk. yeah, that's the langley you know and she knows that you know. in front of her parent, though, is another story; she's far easier to handle and she genuinely respects them. langley's her (real) mom's best girl, the kind of mom who she shares her secrets and doubts with under hushed tones. with her dad, you think you see her trying to get his approval in her own way. finally to the other mom, you see something akin to a best friend, you suppose, though that's rather blurry since langley refers to them both as mom so maybe the relationship between the four is the same. with her siblings her emotions are typical sibling chaos; she's rowdier and is always always the one who starts things - drama, cub war, and the whatnots. langley takes after her half-sister anniston - being a proud thing, a little daring, and a bit of a menace to you and everyone she meets. whereas anniston likes others to do the hard work for her, langley doesn't mind doing them herself, but she prefers to do it in the shadows. she can be eloquent, she can be crass, and she can follow orders only if she wants to. still, you get the feeling that langley will fight tooth and nail to protect her siblings no matter what. langley acts tough, is tough in some respects, but beneath that thick veneer is just a girl who loves her family — a family girl spoiled by lovings parents and blessed with plenty of siblings and half siblings.

HELLO ALL

We are loving these apps so far and ho boy is it going to be a TOUGH decision for us. We did want to let you know we are moving the due date up, we're seeing a lot of great apps and interest. Depending on whenever folks get their apps done we may end up closing sooner, so be aware of that!

The trickster, the prankster, the bargainer, the king of thieves. Cheshire does not see the world in black and white - there is endless fun to be had playing in the countless shades of grey that streak the world, and the vibrant colors in between. And is that not the point of life's gifts? Certainly, there are songs to be sung about all those others who labor beneath the burdens of duty, those who waste their lives away trying to change a world that will not remember them, the knights who fall upon their swords.

Cheshire was put on this earth just to have a good time.

He will sing about those noble souls, and he will dance and laugh beneath the dazzlement of their glory, and he will happily line his nest with purloined treasures galore. But to willingly engage in any overly strenuous activities that could mess up his hair? Please.

Yet for all his selfishness, there is a sense of innocence to the boy, persisting through his earliest moments. He means no true harm with his antics, after all. Not when it's undeserved. It's obvious enough in the mischievous curve of his grin, and the vibrant gleam in his eye. Wild and unfettered though he may be, it's all in good fun. If those around him disagree, well...Learn to take a joke.

He carries an air of innocence, but the concept of true remorse is a difficult one to grasp.

Cheshire is fairly laidback, much like his father. Either he pours one hundred percent of his energy into his endeavors, or he expends next to no effort at all, with no in between. The latter state of mind is more common. He prefers to sit on the sidelines as a cheerleader while his siblings scuffle and tumble around, offering 'helpful' critique and merry tunes where he can. He feels little shame towards his own distinct distaste - being his family's greatest cheerleader should be good enough!

He has a lot of love to give, exuberantly extroverted by nature, and he delights in the attention he receives in return - even if he has to prod a little bit to get it. There exists a heart of gold beneath his lazy exterior, after all.

How will it shine without the glow of the spotlight?

He looks more like his father than his mother, and is significantly less appealing than most of his siblings. Dumat takes pride in his nondescript appearance.

Dumat is the rebel boy, with a mischievous streak and impulsive thoughts. He loves his parents dearly, but sometimes feels he is the black sheep due to his inability to control himself. Dumat is easily overwhelmed by loud sounds and overstimulation at a young age, potentially causing temper driven outbursts as a young cub. As he grows, these will become less and less but he will likely carry that hair trigger temper for the entirety of his life.

He enjoys the rush of battle, and finds his ambition in the shadow of his father. Duma wants nothing more than to be a man like Vio is, to have ambition and drive just like his father. He dislikes laziness, and will snub siblings with the beatnik trait for not 'pulling their weight' around the pride. Dumat is also fascinated with the concept of outlaws and those who live outside pride rule (think like an obsession with wild west outlaws), especially as a boy.

I can see him being the rough 'n tough one. Who mercilessly picks on siblings. He'd defend e every single one in a heartbeat. Always wanting to scrap with his brothers and steal his sister's trinkets.

Though potentially the troublemaker of the family, Dumat does feel guilty and remorse for impulsive action.


notes: Dumat does have an account on site that was never completed. I feel like his ideas/appearance etc would best fit this pairing. I am open to name changes or other changes! And could easily request the unfinished account be deleted.

First of all, we are so, so incredibly honored that there is so much love and interest for our characters. While we have had perhaps one of the largest cub adoptions onsite, it still did not feel like enough, and we wish we could choose every single one of you. The selection was very hotly debated, and it came down to the wire for almost all of the applications. Everyone had incredible strengths and ideas we would absolutely have loved to see in the litter. Unfortunately, we can only choose six.

While we don't know what the future might hold in terms of litters after this one, we have no doubt there will be something that we can offer to anyone who wasn't picked! Please do know that each and every one of you were deserving, and each and every one of you forced us to make the most difficult decision ever.
