He knew they both would need cobweb for the bleeding and more than likely frankincense for the pain they would both feel after this. He begins to take a step forward when he hears some nonsense to his right, causing for his skull to turn and watch the woman waltz her way directly toward him - great. "Mother, Adj erőt." give me strength. The Savante was unsure where his current headspace would lead him, but for now he would entertain this woman, giving her a charming smirk. "You think so?" Voice croons out his question while his tail flicks to the side. "And what makes you say that?" The tiniest of steps are taken toward her, purple eyes watching her with an intense stare.

Gracefully, the shadow paused in front of him, head tilted to the side, eyes lingering. Pointed ears twitched, though as much as her gaze appeared to linger, it seemed to stare right through him at the same time. At first she was silent, one paw lifted ever so slightly as though she couldn't decide whether to move or stand right where she was. But when that charming smirk graced his lips, a decision seemed to have been made and she swung her slender frame around to sit next to him. With a small shake of her head, she tossed the raven locks aside, gathering them all on one side to be able to look at him, a smirk dancing across darkened lips. "I very much do," the Herald purred lowly, a low trill slipping past her lips as the purr faded. "Like blood and snow. All I ever knew coats to be was simply dark or light." Though her attention seemed to have returned mostly to the fight, settled next to @Vincenzo, she remained, glancing up at him.

Concern did rend his grin into a feeble frown. George rose from sunbathing and deftly brushed himself off, professional despite the potential urgency. The adorable Sunder lived within the Cove. He had so far not chanced across her path for another meeting. As he approached the low slope leading toward the Cove, it seemed many many others lions came before him. He didn't like being seen in public by so many untrusted eyes. He veered off, making for the sea. He trod through the surf before entering upon the sand again. He dragged a muddy paw through his mane, disguising the exact form of his tuxedo marking. Now he was only a black male with a salt bleached and tattered mane, similar to many other wastrels. He crouched among scattered boulders by a cove arch, hoping it would disguise him. If not, he was only a short distance from escape. Of course he was trespassing - but if none else cared for the laws, neither would he.

Much could be said for Toblerone, most negative, but never let it be said she would miss the opportunity to sunbathe. That it happened to be on someone else's land, well, maybe they shouldn't get their pride challenged for if they didn't want visitors. The pink fluff flopped by a scratched border mark to rub her scent on the smells left behind from some workaholic's grotty feet. Then, rising suddenly, she shook off the sand in a series of spurts. Now tosled and looking as messy as she smelled, she trotted through the borders and toward the gathering and right away looked for the best vantage point. Most were already taken but she was more important so she wouldn't mind flopping too close to anyone. And then, idly watching the fight through spread toes, she began to do her nails. Tanning and a manicure... her life was beginning to get so busy!

Arkyn can feel the shift in power as he went toward the ground, knowing that he would not be the victor this time around. He manages to free himself and steady himself on all fours, giving his shoulders a roll as a low growl rumbles in his chest. He is bleeding and sore, his muscles aching and wounds crying out with pulsating throbs and stings. He knew he needed to go see Csitri soon, but with her expecting their children he didn't want to worry her - not yet anyways. The beast does not say a word as he stares @Kvare down, instead giving the male a rather twisted looking grin. This would not be his last time challenging for Caladan, and he would keep on coming back until it was finally his. After a couple of moments he turns, heading out of the pride's territory and making his way back to the Hollows.

Get knocked down, get back up.

BITE BACK IN ANGER

Nobody seemed to think twice about the yearling traipsing along the edges of the border. Learning every inch of it, and unfortunately every smell, until it was the same repetitive thing at every corner. At the very least, she had traveled a lot farther north than she had intended and began her travels back. Exploring the same strip of the invisible line that she would have gone right over if she had no sense of smell nor knew that someone already ruled. Being at the borders was a little less satisfying than being in the thick of it but it would appear that no change in leadership would happen today. Daneri supposed that was a good thing as it meant that there wouldn't be new scents or new names to learn.

Before she would ultimately be commanded to go, however, she stopped her tracks along the border where she could just make out the ocean again. The large expanse of water that stretched out farther than she could even see. The wind making gentle waves out in the beyond while the clouds continued to move slowly across the sky. They were not harsh clouds that threatened rain or storms, but simply cloud cover that made it a little less obnoxiously sunny. Perhaps that was winter's tell-tale sign that it was on its way. The gentle breeze and the cover of the sun, but she had a feeling that they were lucky that it wasn't raining because that was what typically came before the snow. exit daneri

She hollers at him, her tail lashing and when it is @Kvare who comes out on top she crows happily praying to Gromm "da zdravstvuet korol!" Long live the king!

Clearly the male that Marja had backed, the pride that she had chosen to inhabit was the best. Clearly. Because the stinky stranger kept losing! "GO AWAY!" She hollers at him as he takes his exit, happily bouncing in place.

Now she needed to cleanse this rock again.

The pale lioness hadn't moved from her position, even as more lions arrived. She watched silently, tail lashing, fangs bared to anyone daring to come too close towards the border. Though despite her wandering, watchful gaze, the warrior queen kept her main focus on the two fighting males. Only briefly was her attention drawn by a darker female with a curly mane who seemed to be yelling in some unknown language.

Arrivals from their own side got a soft chuff in greeting, but when the cubs arrived, her posture changed ever so slightly. Both @Neeha and @Keelia were greeted with a soft purr and she briefly stretched past Sunder to give both girls an affectionate bump with her nose. "He's a fool chasing death," was her calm, but cold statement. Though with the arrival of @Thaïs, her gaze softened and she leaned down to greet the young princess in just the same gentle manner as her sisters. Her comment made the scarred shieldmaiden chuckle and she couldn't help but nod. "He is, but both your parents now showed him that he is a fool for daring to challenge them. He never had a chance."

Victory tasted achingly sweet, and as Arkyn retreated toward the sidelines (with ever the promise, the threat, to return), the standing King's eyes did not leave him. His chest heaved with every burly breath, mouth half-parted and panting. His gaze quickly sought out his wife, satisfaction curling in the breathless turn of his lips. He stalked over toward her, desperate to brush his head against her neck, before retreating back toward the comforts of his territory. He were bloodied and beaten, despite his victory, and eager was he to find himself swathed in the warmth of his pelts and children and wife, to sleep away the lingering pain in his limping gait.
