October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

Summer
Summer is in full swing now, with clear skies, warm nights, and ample sunshine! As such, the deserts begin to grow dry, the shores remain a blissful escape, the north is spared with cooling winds, and humidity continues to rise in the jungle. Rain and storms are long forgotten troubles by now, which is both a virtue and a vice during the heat of the season.

VIVEKA
4 years, Lvl 2 Ranger (+1 to Hunt Rolls)

It's rather difficult to gauge the clearness of this lake, when the waters were dark and grey with the reflection of the overcast sky up above, the shallows of the watering hole churning with the stomping, muddy hooves of the milling herds. Viveka had been observing the beasts for quite some time from where she laid, dark hide carefully tucked away between the tall blades of rippling grass that marked the edge of the prairie, the wolfish woman's head bent down to groom pale chest fur with a quiet focus that characterized feigned patience.

She waited until the cold air had grown so thick with the scent of petrichor that she imagined she could bite into it and come away with the taste of rain. She waits until the burgeoning clouds finally reach their breaking point, the tears of the heavens drizzling to earth with an increasing steadiness, the cold chill of rainwater probing through the Rike's thick coat even as she stalked forward through the growing gloom.

The sound of her demanding chuffs is only just loud enough to carry over the pitter-patter of the storm, a low call to summon anyone nearby to lend their fangs to her cause.

It's not often she seeks out the aid of others like this. But she's in the mood for a feast.

It was simply snack time again. Little else drew her out of the Hollows aside from food and devout time for Maua. Of all the places in Amaryllis, she truly did enjoy hanging around the fields the most. It was one of the most serene places outside of the grotto for her, and many fond memories lingered in the flowerbeds close by. The threat of rainfall was one she dismissed, ultimately deciding food was more important than getting a bit wet from the weather. Squinting eyes took in the terrain with ease, noting the clumping of plants along the edges of the watering hole itself and the isolated bushes closer out into the fields.

There were probably plenty of plants to be had here, so long as one knew where to look. Even with her best listening chances, the experienced huntress still barely heard @Viveka's calls for help and given the circumstances, she assumed this meant an opportunity to take down something bigger. With a huff, the charcoal woman closed the distance between them to find herself closer to the Rike woman. With a curt dip of her head, she lets the stranger know she is keen to help and on standby should they spot something.

While trying not to get caught in the storm, Hero managed to do exactly that as the sky grew darker around him. He was intent on re-familiarizing himself with the world around him. The watering hole had always been an easy hangout spot to gather information or to just shoot the breeze, but as he wandered the fields, the calling of someone nearby indicated a hunt might be brewing. In this weather? Well, maybe they had a lead. Maybe it was worth it. Hero wanted to be useful to the Summit, so bring something back to the mountains sounded like a good plan as the Hodari altered his path.

He nearly missed spotting the dark woman among the tall grass, but eventually located both @Viveka and @Aelynthi in the area. Just two so far? The dark lion knew better than to assume this party wouldn't grow soon enough. Lions were always itching to get their bellies filled. The masked man simply offered a silent nod to both ladies, indicating his willingness to assist when the time was right. Hopefully they'd get a few more bodies so they could take down something larger.

Rainstorm or no rainstorm, Arkyn would venture out regardless. There was very little that would keep the beast confined into some cave or underground dwelling, instead thriving out in the vast expanse known as Amaryllis. The peaks have been his stomping grounds for quite some time now, and given the area had very little in the form of cover he had learned to not allow for nature's mood swings to deter him. As the rain pelted down steadily, thick mane and fur become weighted down and slicked tightly to his body. Sopping wet as it was, droplets fell from his mane while trying to desperately cling on. Rain was such an easy way to wash away any strong scent of lion, which was always a good thing whenever it came to a hunt.

Folded back ears only twist forward in alert as he catches the soft sounds of chuffing nearby. His body turns in the direction it had come from, belly rumbling lowly - might as well get some help taking down a good meal. The Viking prowls forward until he comes across a couple of other lions, one he recognized as being in another hunt he recently joined. Giving them all a gruff nod, Arkyn readies himself and awaits.

hunger is her biggest motivator today.

she feels near starved. imogen can feel the pinch of her ribs around her stomach and the discomfort that hunger brings her. the rain does little to deter her today as she narrows her eyes against the oncoming storm. while typically, she would avoid something like this, the droplets are the least of her concerns as she notices the huddle of lions in the fields. some are familiar from past hunts and others, new, so she arrives and hangs on the outskirts of their party.

the large brass male is nearly indiscernible. she cannot scent anything of him over the petrichor and notes the way that he's sopping wet. surely, imogen knew a bath could rid of scents, but she hadn't considered using a storm to aid during something like a hunt - where a rogue smell of lion would alert all herds within radius. the cat commits it to memory, planning to take advantage of that bit of knowledge, all the while allowing the rain to sop her fur.

she'd probably catch a cold after this...

What a surprise. It was watering. At the Watering Hole. Water being in the form of individualized droplets that had the unpleasant characteristic of not lying still in puddles where she could avoid them, but instead jumping all through the air to get her coat all messy. The long ends twisted. These low areas where water gathered were also rife with humidity. She smelled lions but overall, and more than that, the mass stench of gathering herds as they shoved for water. Some of them already bore scratches from other tusks. She wondered if there were any crocodiles, or if those scary fiends even bothered to hunt when there were so many hooves to trample them down.

Lions were braver in that regard. She heard a chuff and broke from her own idle investigation to join the group now that it seemed to be forming a coherent purpose. One of the lions @Arkyn smelled... even less than rogue. From the weight of water on his fur, he had obviously been out and enjoying the rain rather than hunkering down like the rest of them. Was it worth it to stomp around in the rain just to smell so utterly unremarkable? Her answer was surely no but she would peg this beast as one to brave the elements without leaving a trace.

She had been out exploring around the watering hole. Scouting out around the many creatures that hovered the banks. She made note of which creatures seemed to prefer which section. A good thing to know to avoid one day accidently finding herself sitting in an elephants favorite spot.
One the wind came a vaguely familiar scent. Out of curiosity she ventured forth, tracking the source that she could now tell was Obsidian. Yet as she got closer, Lilliana found herself walking in on a hunt. With flattened ears she quickly lowered herself down. Normally she would have scurried away but this was not another Pride's turf and all the lions here were of mixed territories. The fact she was not the only Hollows member here served to ease her nerves. If more claws were needed then she was content to assist.

"I bet we're all drowned rats by the end of this," the young lioness proposes to the group with an easy smirk, shimmying her way to a place oh-so familiar. The heavens were opening above them with the promise of heavy downpour, flecks of rain already evident upon the plum girls flesh; marking her darker than usual.

She had lived here for a lot of her childhood life, and honestly thought her father would want to stay. It had proven a good base, though the now-princess couldn't complain about her return to her birth home. Though she were less attached to the landscape than some, she still appreciated the belonging. Idly, Birdie's talons scraped against a rocky patch of loam, sharpening.

Why she is out in the rain not even Artemisia knew. She had been out exploring whenever the storm rolled in, and at first she had hunkered down underneath a thick leaved tree to keep herself as dry as possible. But as time went on and the rain seeming to not let up, something in her mind told her to just move - and move she did. It's how she heard the chuff of another calling to any around to join in on a hunt, her earthen body moving in its direction. She'd soon enough come up on the group, noting Aelynthi and giving her a soft smile. Artemisia then gets into hunting mode, allowing for her body to position itself and feeling her muscles tense as she waited.

Tilly is drawn in by a gathering of lions, catching their scents as she crosses the savannah. Though historically her hunts had not resulted in success, she figured there would only be one way to resolve that. Practice. And so upon the sounds of these rallying chuffs does she emerge to join the gathered. She takes note of the territory as she moves, tail flicking behind her. The grasses could be difficult to navigate with the late year growths, and she would not want to get turned around.

There are individuals from all different prides, judging by scent and Tilly nods her head politely as she pads up, sinking into the grass. She was not good in an ambush - thanks to her strawberry fur - but Tilly could absolutely run.

As they wait, Tilly eyes the watering hole, noting it’s depth. With recent rains it had threat of spreading it’s banks and she thought that notable.
