On to business, a question of price. Alexander is quiet as @Fissure speaks to each of those present that had spoken to him directly. The male had a knack for drawing attention, and a charisma that rivaled his own. As his attention settled on himself, a low, husky laugh escaped and he hums thoughtfully, "Your personal display, hm? Perhaps I will have to see." It did not sound bad, taking the time to visit the Band itself and seeing what kind of force could benefit them - and the other services that it offered. Especially those that Fissure was capable of himself.

As he continued on to business, the Hollows King steps forward then, "Perhaps we could talk more about this in private? Let us walk along the borders, I have a few ideas that you may like." The male motions with a massive paw in front of him, as if implying Fissure should go ahead, but Alexander was awaiting him to step in beside him. The others were given a knowing nod, "@Mircea, @Karsa, could you finish patrolling the borders along the opposite side? @Juliette, could you ensure @Hadyn does not follow us?" He muses, giving his Baron a peculiar look before turning to move forward, hoping their guest would follow.

alexander and fissure share some words and then his father's attention swivels to focus on karsa and mircea. patrol the other side of the border? it sounded like the two had something to discuss in private and the boy would not intrude on the important talks that were surely occurring between the two. even if the boy didn't necessarily trust their visitor. he nods, eager to be of use even if it was more likely an excuse to have him go the other way. "don't worry, we'll take care of it." he states, blue eyes focusing on @Mircea now. "alright, let's go." is all karsa says. the boy's head tilts to the side as if to gesture towards the path leading in the other direction before setting off himself for the very important task ahead.

Even if she didn't know exactly who this @Fissure was, she did like him exponentially better since he had very clearly made some loose promise to give her a fresh pound of meat. Or, as he said, flesh. Either way, it made her mouth a bit watery and she smiled, nodding her head. Ultimately accepting (and hoping) that when they met again, he might hold true. From here she allowed herself to listen to what he was offering to @Alexander ♔ and the pride as a whole.

Curious as to all the things that they would offer and even a mate, though as brilliant an idea as it was it made her tail curl. Not appreciating the idea that someone would be given as a mate when it may not be their choice. Or maybe it was... but to give yourself as a mate without first feeling something? Seemed an odd thing, at least to Juliette who had lived on stories of love at first sight.

Head swiveled to her High Sovereign as he instructed her to make sure that Hadyn didn't follow them to their private discussions. Eyes squinted for a second before her gaze turned to the one she meant to be watching. Not exactly understanding why she had to watch a five year old male from doing what he was told not to do. Of course. Despite her reservations on the task, Juliette allowed herself to watch after Hadyn for a short while to prevent any such eavesdropping or interruptions. exit juliette

Fissure could not deny, he was very intrigued by what @Alexander ♔ had to offer. That he wished to discuss it in private, after he had shamelessly been making eyes at the dark beast, only made the prospect more exciting.

He would dip his head to each of them in turn as they slowly departed, pleased to have met so many beautiful and rugged faces. Hopefully, he would be seeing more of this group of cave dwellers in the future, pending what the king wished to speak of. He could not know what was to come, but it would be a new chapter in his life.

Turning, he would follow after the larger male, one last flick of his tail offered in farewell to anyone that remained.

The ebony male speaks of curious things, dangling before them the temptations of services and negotiations that Mircea implicitly knows are all part of that endless game of politics that he himself finds quite tiring. Not that that matters much, when Alexander has more than enough enthusiasm to offer the raven than all the lions in the Hollow combined.

Honeyed eyes narrow with something like suspicion when the King makes a point of directing both Mircea and his nephew off towards the entirely opposite side of the territory. They wished to speak privately. Clearly. (Of course they do.) The dappled beast lets out a huff of breath, far too disciplined to roll his eyes even though the temptation prods at him as he turns away, nodding to Karsa with a low grunt. "Lead on."

Perhaps the pair of them would accomplish something useful while the King and their guest were left to their supposed dealings.
