+5 - Hold a small ritual
The moon was high above his head as the young Cleric sat upon the water's edge. The water seemed to be alight with the moon's soft glow as Dragomir busied himself at the shore. He gently placed a light brown tuft of fur to stand among the wet stones on his left, on his right he had a hawk's flight feather with which he did the same.

Lastly, there was a valuble and quite rare leaf that he had found during his wanderings in this new land. It's usefulness was profound, and he knew he couldn't pass it up. With nowhere else to put it - Drago had stored the leaf behind his ear. Now it was time to put the dried vegitation to use.

He took the leaf between two foretoes, holding it over the gentle water as he crushed it and allowed the powder to sprinkle into the waters. They swirled and floated, bumping into one-another almost at random.

Drago smiled to himself as he looked at the setup he had made. Then, he took a deep breath and closed his eyes, lifting his head to the Gods.

"Zeiță antică, auzi,
Îndrumă-mă spre ceea ce caut,
Calea dezvelită, apare!

Zeița trecutului,
Dă-mi viziuni ale căii,
Deblocați secrete vaste.

Riturile sacre se desfășoară,
În numele tău, chem,
Mistere nespuse."
As he spoke with a gentle and calm tone, the wind began to pick up. The spray from the nearby sacred falls whipped and wayned with it's influence, and as it flew past the conjurer it would throw his half-mane wildly about him.

The moon shone down on Dio's dark form, sunkissed feet were dulled, tinged green by the blue glow din of the night's light. She walked through the peaks comfortably and confident. Stars began to appear over head, fading in and out as wisps of clouds drifted along. She counted the stars she saw, smiling as they'd hide and then re-emerge, smiling as if watching children in play. She doted upon the stars, loved them so after all.

They and her own feet led her closer to the falls, gradually the sound of falling water grew louder to signal her proximity. She follows the light of the moon down from the sky to the pool where it shone back a bright reflection. Om the edge there was another lion, wind swept up in his mane and an undeniable energy around him as the moon seemed to halo him with light. She came closer. Hello.

The man's icy gaze snapped open as a feminine voice called out to him. An ear swiveled toward the sound, followed by a methodical turn of his head until finally his vibrant eyes locked onto her own. His brow furrowed, though he did not seem angry at the disturbance.

Peeved, perhaps... but not angry outright.

"Hello..." The thick Romanian accent only enhanced the aggravation in the groan as he spoke. The ear that had followed her voice now snapped back to lay upon his neck as the winds died down around him, his focus lost.

'Damn'

He took a breath, deep as the air filled his lungs. He pushed the frustration back as he stood to receive the woman before him. Head held high, he would keep his eyes upon her wearily. "I must know... what are your reasons for this interruption?" Still his words held a bite to them, however faint. Perhaps he needed another breath.

That look. It's not too far off from ones she remembers family giving to each other in moments of slight transgression. She's not sure what she's done, it seems not to be of grand magnitude but she has no doubt she's done something. Her curious nature begs for information, to peer and dig, to ask. She shrinks for just a second at his thick word, that heavy greeting. But Dio rebounds, rights her ears erect from where they'd flickered back and puffs out her chest just a bit with confidence.

I- She pauses in answer. She's not searching for a response, her face does not seem lost. But she's struck and admiring his visage in the moonlight now that she's able to see his features clearly. Handsomely dressed in moonglow. -I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt, you looked beautiful in the moonlight. And she had to know what he was doing there. With another calming breath being expelled from his lungs, the woman responds. At first she was taken aback by his frustration - so apparent - perhaps too apparent. He didn't mean to have her shrink before him, and briefly he thought back to his Father's servants... how they would shrink and bow.

He wanted none of that. She spoke and he listened with intent, his gaze stern; and yet, at the fawning that fell from her lips the man's eyes softened. Perhaps he was peeved, sure - but vain enough to accept her appreciation for him. That much was clear.

He dipped his head to her in thanks, a slight smile now tugging at his lips as his elegant tail flicked between his hocks. 'beautiful?' "I am grateful for your kind words, dear woman." He purred as his frustration faded to near nothingness. She had been forgiven. "Do not apologize. It is nothing that cannot be rectified, I assure you."

He turned her back on her for a moment as he placed a paw gently under the water. Carefully he would lift it, allowing the bits from the leaf he had crumbled to cling to his fur.

She's glad to see whatever frustrations had formed in him seemed to fade away. Instead there's a subtle smile, one that she is quick to mirror back his way. The compliment is sincere. While she's not reaching or trying to find ways to redeem herself she does not baulk either at the side effect of calming whatever feathers she's ruffled. Can I lend you a hand? It was the least she could do. He could insist up and down, back and forth, that an apology was not needed. But Dio still had interrupted. And there was a better way to apologize than just saying sorry- she could help make it right. If he would allow that is...

She begins to approach closer, her movement indicated she was trying to shift to one side of him and line up to approach the water beside him. But she paused, a brief hesitation where she glances at the back of his head once more and waits for either permission or refusal. And oh how she hoped it was the former. Her mind craved, begged, her to just move up anyways and see fully what he was doing in the water._{CODE | BACKGROUND | ART BY MUULAND}

He turned his gaze to her once more, not turning his head much, as she asked if she could be of assistance. He looked briefly at the tall grass to the west of them, so briefly - in fact - that if she was not much for observation, she would miss it.

Swiftly he brought the peices of wet leaf out of the water and deposited them upon a flat stone to dry. He hummed as he did this, pondering her offer. "I suppose you could be of some assistance, but we should become aquainted beforehand - of course." He mused, lifting his paw to quickly lick it dry before turning it to touch his elegant chest. "Please, know me as Dragomir of the Vulpes Family."

He would pause then and lower his paw back to the earth, waiting for her to make herself known to him in turn. As he waited, a very faint rustling could be heard from the western grasses. He promptly ignored it as though it hadn't occurred at all.

The glance to the side she does not catch, perhaps a shadow slightly obscured her vision, perhaps her attention was divided between admiring him still while painfully dieing to peer into the pool before him. In any case, it's lost and now feeling welcomed she moves to sit down at his side, hazarding a glance at the leaf fragments as his paw is whisked from the water. She follows it through the air until she's back at his face and tries to catch his eyes with hers.

Dio nods. Of course, she was absolutely not opposed to being more acquainted. Especially as he has now refused her help and it seems with time get curiosity over him and his task will both be satisfied. I am Diomedeidae Valour, you can just call me Dio though. There's another smile and soft laugh drawn from her lips. She knows well the cumbersome volume of a name she wields. Unaware yet of that rustling, her body did tense just a little as subconscious instinct began to light and engage. That creeping feeling you can't place, you don't know why, and Dio not even conscious of it yet herself in the first few seconds that the hairs on her spine began to dance up._{CODE | BACKGROUND | ART BY MUULAND}

She still seems to be entranced by him. A welcome thing, indeed. So much so that she had not noticed the bit of rustling from afar. It was just as well. As a soft laugh fell from her lips he would grace her with a true smile, wide enough that a tooth poked out from under his lip. "Charming, Dio. Truly." The words were almost jovial as they were spoken, another flick of his tail as he lowered to take a seat with her.

He then made a 'come hither' gesture with a clawed paw toward the western grasses, the rustling becoming more pronounced. "Now, I take it you have a God to pray to?" The question almost seemed threatening, the way he smiled... the way his eyes had been caught and now would not look away. The gaze seemed predatory, and at the same time... as if he were testing her in some wicked way.

Whatever he had summoned from beyond the grasses was drawing closer, but still it was obscured from his fair company. He did not watch for it to emerge, instead his gaze seemingly unbreakable whilst it remained upon his cohort.

She's not too knowing or used to the hungry edge that begins to twinkle in his predatory gaze. Dio has seen it before true, but trained upon prey in the midst of her family searching to fill the cache. In her gut there is a knowing, that creeping feeling beginning to grow stronger, but the conscious reality and recognition was overwhelmed by her curiosity. Dio began to feel something was amiss but, to the chagrin of every survival instinct in her brain, she grew more entwined and interested. What was going on? What was Dragomir doing? That little bit of fear, anxiety, heightening her want to know and consume the knowledge.

Yes. Maua. They created this land, they created me. They were one of many, not absolute and solitary. But they were the one Dio has fallen in love with and who she finds the most comfort and guidance from. Is that what you were doing? Praying to a God? The hairs along her spine were visibly standing upright, and while her teal gaze would not leave his attention her ears on the other hand began to twitch and turn with sensations and subconscious knowing._{CODE | BACKGROUND | ART BY MUULAND}
