Even after all of her attempts she ended up being overwhelmed by Kvare's superior experience. And there as his jaws snapped harder on her nape, she felt blood and pain flooding her senses, it seemed she wasnt skilled enough to fight well, but at least she had the bravery to fight for those who couldnt fight for themselves. Soon he found herself falling on the floor, hitting her head on the way and ending up passing out. She had lost but she had won experience that was what mattered. Will her queen be angry at her for her defeat? For her fail at defending their cub? She hopped not, but for now Khadija remained motionless on the ground.

This was right. Stalking around, on the hunt for something to squish. The only deficit was that it was not her fighting in the main event. Blood churned along the sides of her stomach, twitching unseen. Her tail lashed in blatant agitation as she eyed the largest group of Summiteers around @Isla ♔. They were too large and too many to take on herself. She justified her hesitance by thinking that, instead, they were the cowards. All grouped up and giant and stuff.

She was smarter and braver. She would pick an easy, small target; a pairing of two youths @Lavender @Radahn caught her yellow eye and immediately she dropped her skull and tensed even more of her muscles. Wound and nervous like a trout on a line, impulse sent her compulsively to charge for the lankier and, to her eyes, more uncertain one @Radahn. She did not vocally announce her approach but if anyone had been watching her, her violent search and intent to strike had been obvious. She aimed to come from head on, rampaging head-strong, trying to dip her shoulders to try to slam into the front of his chest while with her right paw she tried to hook around his front left ankle. Jaws - not for biting! but for laughing. "How's it feel when I do it?" Better? Worse?

As she bolts towards him, her eyes are fixated him- zoning out to the world around him. Had she been aware, she may have hesitated to ambush him knowing cubs were present. Who their parents were, weren’t of consequence. Eisa was a Valour. A Greyflood. A Sigrun. She had honor and would do her best to never harm a cub. When he moves forward, his taunting name for her brandished like a weapon to intercept her- she inhales sharply- and then they collide.

The breath is knocked out of her, and as her teeth find his leg, she aims to clamp down, with a punishing bite into his leg and then aims to jerk her head up- almost unwittingly into the bite he now has. She feels teeth along the sides of her skull- as if her head is in fact large enough that she doesn’t think he can truly get a crushing grip. Yet the pain is nearly deafening, but Eisa doesn’t yield, doesn’t aim to give up the position she hopes she is in. She hopes by some stroke of luck, she can jerk his leg upright- and by doing this, she can make him stumble, to bring that leg off the ground in an effort to perhaps make him fall

There was a sickeningly sweet satisfaction that came with her falling limply within his jaws. Kvare stepped away, mindful of the gaggle of cubs fighting and scurrying about, as @Khadija fell into the dusty earth beneath. He at first anticipated her being able to get to her paws, but when she did not stir after her fall, Kvare knew she'd long lost consciousness. His brows furrow for a brief second, sides heaving with the fuller breaths of exhausted lungs. He'd managed the briefest of glances around the battlefield, watching as the challenge settled down, left Cassandra the victor.

Even if there were no war, no reason for their enemies to continue fighting, to instead turn home to lick their wounds, Kvare would not stop. He was relentless. And he would not sooner drop a problem he caused upon his niece's doorstep. He caught a quick glance toward @Zephyr, making sure the cub had remained, before turning his attention back to his felled opponent. It was the least he could do to patch up her wounds, he supposed; perhaps she'd like to stay with the cub she'd so fiercely defended. Kvare would delight at the idea of an able-bodied hunter rather than a a whelp alone.

He leaned down, attempting to grab the girl by her scruff, prepared to take her back to the Cove.

Her teeth landed on their mark, but she could feel it the moment the fight ended. Another forceful strike to her side, claws ripping through her skin. She released the limb, stumbling to the side, away from her opponent. She made no move to launch another attack, it was clear who had won, but she would not leave without her children. It didn’t matter how battered or wounded she was, she would not leave until she knew if she would have to fight to have them returned to her, or if she would be free to escort them out. She would not turn her back on her family the way others had in the past. She stood several paced back, staring at @Cassandra, wondering what her first move would be now that the Brook was once again under her control. If she did not release those who belonged to her, she trusted the Saxe children would be all too eager to raise hell until the decision was regretted. There was still a lot going on around her, but she was not able to divert her attention yet to decipher the chaos around her.

Final hits of either of them landed, and when all was said and done, the Valour-Greyflood stood victorious over the land. Renfri stumbled away from her, and Cassandra tossed another snarl in her direction. Daring her to step closer again. This land was now under Valour control once again, and it would remain that way as long as she had any say about it. Looking around at the chaos unfolding around them, she spotted her maroon daughter wrapped up in battle with that plum bastard again. Lifting a lip in his direction, she would silently pray to Maua that her daughter would reign victorious.

Duotoned eyes started across the land - spotting a form she knew to be the King of the Cove. She spotted a young cub who looked like Ygritte tucked by him, and she huffed. That would need to be taken care of as soon as she was able. Wounds still freshly bleeding, and adrenaline starting to fade from her veins as the heat of the battle died down, Cassandra would turn her attention back to fix her hard purple gaze on @Renfri. Making sure she stared at the lioness so that she understood. "This land is now under Valour command. Everyone who belonged to this pride underneath the rule of Renfri and Aeistrios is no longer permitted within these lands. You have under dawn to leave this territory. The only lions allowed to remain are Ygritte, Cerberus and their children. Everyone else, consider yourself no longer allowed on Brook lands." Cassandra said, making sure her voice was loud and carried over the chaos raging around her.

"If I even catch you, or any of your children on my land again, I will not hesitate to attack on sight." She snarled, taking a step towards Renfri as she spoke her threat. Looking around to see who exactly had been supporting her, her gaze would land on a few lions in particular. @Thrain would be the first her gaze rested on, and she would step towards the bronze lion. "Thrain - you have been a loyal friend to me over the years. I would like to extend the position of Sovereign at my side to you, if you would like." She would wait a moment, to see what he would have to say. She wasn’t super aware of his family, but they would be welcome within the land as well.

Next - her large and dark son. @Asbjørn. Looking at him with pride, Cassandra would extend her next off of rank to him. "Asbjørn - I would like for you to become my Heir." She said, knowing she’d discussed this possibility with him prior to the fight. But now that she held the crown of the Brook again - she had much to handle and much to discuss. But for now? For now she would see her family safe and sound within the land of the Brook again.

He had caught the worst of it. Fights were littered about but it is only Renfri that he would search for. He found her just as she was given the final blow that would ultimately seal her loss. His eyes watch as she paces back a few steps to catch her bearings after whatever battle ensued. His limbs moved before he could stop them.

He would attempt to come to her side. To aid her with his stout bulk. He would bear whatever weight she may have to give if she chose to use him. The words and threats of the new queen were spat at the former members. His time among them was very short-lived, so he would not miss it. The brook could be burned for all he cared.

"Let me help you. I'll take you wherever you want." He had promised he would be at her side, and he meant every word he spoke.

She’d won. @Cassandra had taken back their home with force. A heart full of fiery passion to capture what rightfully belonged to them. Her body burst into action. Prayers stalling and swept away to be thanked in silence. Ratha couldn’t stop the movement of paws. The way she slipped from the side of @Asbjorn to attempt to approach her mother.

Coming short to smile. The Diety has granted you strength to bring back our home. We are blessed. And Ratha fully believed this. Her words spoken with an underlying happiness she knew would burst forth. Had it not been for the audience, she would have allowed it free. But instead she chose to stand beside her mother. Bumping lightly into the feline’s side in an affectionate and respectful manner.

Valerian watches from the gloom, feeling water drip from the forest above down his spine. He didn't dare shake his pelt dry. There was no point, and there were suddenly many moving parts in the gloom. He watches the main fight with narrowed eyes, brow furrowed. He overhears something about a truce that was now broken, and that intrigued Valerian. Perhaps as an heir, he needed to be more on the pulse of the politics of the island.

There was plenty of tension in the air and several more fights were breaking out. From his position, he couldn't tell who was winning. He is pleased to see Leonie looking healthy and whole - the last time he'd seen her had been at the Andal challenge on the wrong end of a maim. He wondered how the other Miroslav were doing.

Valerian doesn't have to wait much longer, for the dark challenger seemed to have come out on top and a snarl of her new rules rise over the stormy weather. Valerian takes it all in, including the yearling she invites as her heir, and the man she requests her sovereign. Thrain, and Asbjorn. With this new information in his mind, Valerian takes his leave, creeping away under the cover of the heavy rain.
