She was slow, but she was moving. There was a small pile of debris to the side of where she had been sleeping.. having the energy to finally clear the den from her initial arrival. The giant slowly limped back and forth, clearing the soiled bedding to the side. Her thoughts turned to those she had left behind when this had happened and she wondered how they were. A part of her worried if she would remain a prisoner here when the time came to meet Kovirah again. Would he think she had chosen to keep her distance? Had he found the rainbow lights? She certainly hoped so...it would be something to look forward to. Kireena stopped after a frustratingly short time and had to sit, putting her weight on her less injured leg, muscles trembling. Damn poison...

He probably wasn't supposed to be here, but he hadn't gotten any specific instructions to stay away so at least he could use that as an excuse if he got in trouble. For a while, he just watched, hidden in some of the numerous plants that grew throughout the territory, just a dash of lilac and yellow amongst the brush. Like any number of flowers one could find in the rainforest.

There weren't any guards, and she seemed able to move on her own, so eventually Lucifer got to his feet and emerged from the brush, curiosity in his pale gaze. Of course he wasn't quite dumb enough to get too close, so he'd stop a few feet away to give himself room and time to scurry back into the denser plant cover if needed. She didn't seem like she could move that fast right now anyway.

Head cocked to the side, "Guess you didn't die, then." He didn't really know what had happened, but her blood had smelled weird at the fight. "So who are you and why were you tryin' to take our home away?" And did she regret it now?

She took a rest, needing to ease the pain on her leg, but also because the poison still hadn't dilly left her system.. only lessened. When the sound of another came, she turned to look towards @Lucifer and found a small smile creeping across her lips. These kids were bold. In another time she might have been able to teach them as she had been teaching Etain. "It's the nature of lions. To secure safety for ourselves and our families.". He would understand when he got older. The red giant looked him over, knowing he was older than the newborns that his father had ousted many moons ago. "Does your father know you're here?". Ryker was letting her wander the rainforest which suited her just fine.. but she doubted the zebra marked king would enjoy knowing his cub was flirting with danger. Not that she would ever raise a paw against a child in harm. Kireena felt that children should be protected until they were old and strong enough to do so themselves. Such was the way of the nomad life. Protect and train the young.. see them grow strong so that they in turn could do the same.

The nature of lions? His gaze narrowed, suspicious, "But why's that mean you have to steal?" The Rainforest was huge, right? They had to have plenty of room for lions who needed a home. And if not Firnen, then there were other prides weren't there?

Her question earned a shrug, though, "I live here, I can go where I want." And Lucifer trusted his father to keep them safe from any real threat, so he didn't figure she was all that dangerous, really. Otherwise, she'd probably be under guard and locked up somewhere, right? Nevermind the fact that he wasn't really old enough to understand how very small the pride truly was, that they likely didn't have the bodies to spare to keep constant watch over even a singular prisoner.

"When you get older, you'll learn what it means.. We lions are violent by nature and there are some of us that seek what others have." She knew it would only be a matter of time before they were old enough to visit other prides when challenges rang out across the lands. @Lucifer's next words brought a chuckle to the red giants lips. She debated making a point of showing the kid how powerless he really was, but wasn't in the market of harming cubs. Instead, she simply arched a brow at the prince. "Live here you may - but usually it's dangerous for children to come near adults - especially adults who once tried to take their home.." She didn't mean the kid any harm - but that didn't mean that any other future prisoners would be the same.

It was always frustrating to be told he'd understand something when he was 'older'. How much older did he have to be before lions started explaining themselves instead of brushing it off as him being too little to understand? Lucifer flopped to the forest floor with a 'humph', stretching out to lounge on his side. He'd never been without a rank, so he couldn't yet relate to what it felt like to be utterly powerless.

Her warning, though, earned a grin, "Maybe, but you're the only dangerous one in the pride right now, so if somethin' happens to me, dad'll know who did it." And he liked to imagine that his father would take violent revenge on anyone who hurt any of them. Maybe he was too small to put up a fight himself, but he wouldn't go un-avenged if the worst happened, right?

"So are you gonna try again?" Did they need to watch her more closely? Prepare for when she challenged again? Or had she learned her lesson and decided they weren't worth the risk?

@Lucifer mentioned she was the only danger and the woman chuckled, smiling at the boy. "You're not wrong. Your father is a fierce protector." The woman would shift carefully as the boy asked a second question, wondering if she was going to try again. The women shook her head, carefully cleaning more of her mess from her den. "No - My intentions are to stay here - and then work my way up." Whatever happened after that would happen - She supposed. The red woman shuffled and shoved some more garbage to the side, having to have a sit afterwards, breathing heavily, needing to have a moment after the effort to catch her breath and gather herself. "If you had been the king - what would you have done?"
