He manages to get her down, and off him finally. Sersie feels her body sperate from his, the words that @Angelo says are almost lost upon her—but as she regains her composure, a wicked, bloody smile spreads across her mauled features. Sersie begins to cough out something of a cackle, catching her breath from the entanglement. ”You should watch your back, more carefully” she offers, regardless of the fact he has won their bought. ”….Care for a round two?” she asks, walking (re: more like an awkward hobble-hop-hobble) toward him.

Up this close Sersie could get a better look at him. Truth was, she often didn’t pay much attention to finer details in fights—how could she? One eye and three legs, the lioness couldn’t afford the luxury of finer details. This lion appeared to be a rather greyish creature, smelling of the earth beneath all the scents of their scuffle. ”Maybe I’ll take a souvenir with me next time, wouldn’t you’re hide look pretty on my den walls” wicked smile, same deviousness in her one green eye. As she tries her best to walk dignified, she would let her tail gently try to caress along the underside of his mane as she passed before finding a small slab of rock to lounge upon. A trail of blood follows her, almost eaten by the dest. Awkwardly she plops her body down and let’s her tongue rake along a few knicks and cuts she can. All the while her good eye watches him carefully.

You aren't wrong, he agreed, though he was already failing to do so, already didn't notice the presence of another who had been watching their fight. He wasn't the most observant. So sue him.

I wouldn't mind it, he confirmed. He was always down for a match, though her threatening words merely caused him to raise a brow at her. I'm sure I would, but if you want me in your den there's easier and more enjoyable ways. He offered a sly grin as her tail brushed him, trailing her slightly over to her lounging spot though he stopped a reasonable distance away.

So, who'd you piss off? he asked, never the most tactful sort. Someone had clearly seen fit to maim her, and he very much doubted it was because she'd jumped on them and taken them by surprise during a fight.

the fight winds down with the male as the obvious victor. even still, imogen is impressed with the tripod's ability to hold herself in a battle. she approaches slowly, just in time to hurriedly tear her gaze away at their flirty banter. the medic feels as if she's intruding their moment of good sportmanship after a duel and drops her collected herbs. "i watch and offer help." its the least she could do, still sworn to a duty that she was not tied to in this land. what she has to offer is not much, but her kin turned soldiers had never seemed to mind when they were battered, beaten and bruised. the chickweed she has would be excellent for staving off any threat of infection and her whiskers tremble around it as she carefully makes sure not to ruin the leaves. there's a gleam in her eye that is inherently good, gentle, eager, but the nervous pitter patter in her heart tells her to drop the plants and leave them to their own devices.

His comment concerning other ways to get him into her den amuse her, earning but a soft chuff of laughter permitted to escape her throat. A flick of her tail, she listens as her tongue cleans a few of the cuts received from their spat—

’So-‘he says’Who’d you piss off?’

Who hasn’t she pissed off?

But her retort is quieted a few moments longer before another—presumably who’d been hiding or watching—had emerged from the limestone crater they dwelled. Moving her head to get a better look, she relaxes. A medic, it would seem. A wave of her tail signals @Imogen to approach, as Sersie turns to fully answer @Angelo—

”For my arm? A brassy-clay male, ruled Lorien Plains for awhile. Showed off a trophy he didn’t like.” she answers, bearing a glance at the fleshy pinkish scar tissue marking where her arm used to be. ”The eye? Another male outside of these lands. Wasn’t happy I didn’t want to put out” she chuckled at the memory, wherein most would likely cringe away ”Had he just waited a few days I might have been more apt to acquiesce to his request. As it stands, I lost an eye and he lost the ability to speak”

Angelo startled when the woman spoke, jumping with a yelp of surprise as his tail puffed up briefly. Yikes! Dang what is with you ladies and sneaking around like that? Make some noise when you walk, he commented, dramatically flopping to the ground afterwards. Of course, he still listened to Sersie as she detailed her exploits, raising an eyebrow slightly.

Okay, first, I'd like to clarify the whole inviting me to your den thing was a suggestion. Second, I'm kind of surprised he didn't lose more than that, he commented as he turned to Imogen. And what might your name be? He wonders if perhaps she'd patch him up afterwards, though to be fair he had plenty of healers back home he could go pester so he supposed he didn't need to pester this one in particular.

when the male starts at her approach, imogen briefly acts in turn. she looks more frightened housecat than lion, her spine arching momentarily until he settles down. her face is flush with embarrassment and ears hot at his comment. the last thing she wanted to frighten anyone - especially not lions who she had just watched spar that could crush her effortlessly. she huffs a quiet sigh of relief around her herbs and notes movement from the corner of her eye as the lioness accepts her offer. "imogen," is her reply to him as she rounds to the scarred woman, noting the bruising that was sure to flourish under her pale skin, but focuses on her bleeding injuries instead.

as she works, she's careful to tend to the woman on her stone pedestal. her ears perk forward as it seems she arrived at the time of sersie's war stories and the medic winces as she tells how she lost both her limb and a portion of her vision. with her herbs crushed, imogen carefully spreads the chickweed along the places that are most at risk, working on the scarred queen with a diligence bred of respect. "you are dangerous... have to keep you healthy," its equal parts jest and truthfulness. indeed a dangerous woman and although capable, imogen wants nothing more than for her to continue to defend herself.

the cat takes a small step from the stone slab and looks to the half mane male. it was only fair. he'd been just as formidable. "may i?" and before he answers, imogen is already rounding towards him, prepared to use the last of her remedy.

"Or perhaps it is best for you to listen more carefully" she quips, her own brow raising with a satisfied, almost smug expression upon tattered remains of a face. For a moment, her gaze dips back down to the newly dubbed Imogen, watching her meticulous work. In another life, Sersie might've been more like her--no, no, no, that girl was dead. Deader than dead. Fucking worm food. Don't think too hard, love

She winces only once with the mushed herbs, but is grateful nonetheless.

He asks, and then asks the woman her name. For a long while Sersie let's his first statement sit in silence, still having attention drawn to the healer. Imogen remakes upon her dangerousness, and strokes the lioness's 'go. Truth was, Sersie loved the idea of it. Of intimidation. Even in defeat, her life's story was still ever present. Forever etched into her body.


"The suggestion is a welcome one, the offer still stands." she smirks, "Sersie, of Andal Oasis--to which a healer like you could be beneficial. You should consider it." She gets back to her feet less clumsily than laying down (that was the hard part). "Come find me, if you want it." she doesn't make it clear exactly who she is talking to, though her voice carries somewhat sultry tones despite it's rasp in quality. Quietly, she turns and leaves the duo--ready to be home.

I mean... yeah probably, he agreed sheepishly. He didn't really have to keep that much of an eye on his surroundings typically, so he wasn't used to it. He probably ought to be when he was out and about in the lands, though, seeing as their relationship with the Bluffs was tenuous at best.

Oh, sure, go for it, he said to @Imogen, though she didn't exactly pause for a response and he wasn't going to say no to her anyway because he was used to women telling him that to do, especially when those women were also healers. It was basically part of his DNA to let them do as they pleased.

I'll remember that, he said as Sersie took her leave. He might not have liked spending time in the Oasis since he hated sand, as he'd discovered, but he thought he could make an exception in the future. For now, he'd remain where he was and let himself be tended to.

deft paws carefully begin to tend to the male's wounds as he grants her permission. though she's focused on the task before her, the woman's ears are tilted towards sersie as she praises her - though her attention is more so taken by the place that she hails from. andal. it was yet another pride in these vast, vast lands and imogen briefly wonders if all the others there are as steeled and resilient as sersie.

come and find her, she says, and imogen is unsure if that is directed towards herself or angelo. she blinks slowly at the woman as she departs before looking back to the male before her and taking a step back once she's tended to him. "careful now," imogen hisses softly, only so that he doesn't disturb the poultices delicately placed upon his shoulders and spine. sersie had certainly did a number with that deceptive grip of hers.

she waits for him to leave before imogen gazes off in the distance, heading off the way she had come before stumbling upon them. maybe just maybe she would go see what this andal had to offer.
