She was craving more.

Once again she Isla finds herself traversing across the lands of Amaryllis back toward the pit. She had left several hours before the sun began to rise, descending from her snowy mountain home with ease. She could feel her body yearning for something more, but for now a simple dominance match would have to suffice. Mismatched eyes glanced around the desolate area, the sun beginning to peak from the horizon to slowly rise into the sky, casting off shades of oranges and pinks and purples.

While she padded toward the center she would release a loud and long roar, seeing once more there were any lion around that would like to join her. Shoulders roll once the roar ends, eyes narrowing and toes flexing to allow for her claws to unsheathe. Now all she had to do was wait.

His time in the pit, he thought, was over.

It has served its purpose after all in making him all the stronger, in making him something that could take on fate itself! But on a whim - because he was governed by them almost as much as he was by carefully laid plans - he returned.

What he saw lit his blood aflame with anger. Unsheathing his claws, he charges for her, claws digging into the ground, attempting to slam all of his body weight into her side to stagger her out of an immense need for violence.

He may have bested her before, but now, they were enemies and he would not pass up the chance to weaken her now.

Isla is able to hear heavy paw steps coming toward her quickly, and before she could fully register what was happening she felt a heavy pressure and a push on her left side, something she knew would leave her feeling sore after this. She let out a snarl while her body stumbled, catching herself before having the chance to fall fully to the ground. Eyes alight with feral anger, her skull whips around - only to see him. The stench of Lorien was overwhelming, but this one was one she had fought before, and she was determined to come out on top this time around.

The Heiress attempts to swing her right foreleg up and toward the man as the front half of her body pivots toward him, claws unsheathed. She was attempting to slap him directly on the left side of his face, hoping to hook claws deeply into the flesh. As she did this, hungry jaws snapped toward whatever was closest to it, attempting to sink teeth in and hold on tight.

As he is slapped, Lachesis lets out a snarl of his own. Damn woman! Perhaps he should have avoided the pit after all, given that the penchant others had for damaging his glorious visage still persisted. But then, he would have missed the chance to try and beat her once more and for that, he did not give in so easily.

He is in the process of raising his foreleg to attempt to strike at her, when her teeth snap around his upper arm. His reaction was first a roar of pain as teeth dug into muscle, and then, he attempts to bring his jaws down on her neck while she is still holding on to him.

It's a glorious feeling when her claws rip into the tender flesh of his cheek, leaving her mark as her paw drug downward and back toward the ground. Almost at the same time did her jaws catch his left front leg (gonna say right since it doesn't mention in post!), her teeth digging into him while blood painted her maw. She'd let out first a guttural snarl, muffled by her current hold, before it turned into a muffled roar of pain whenever she felt teeth dig into the left side of her neck. It was a blinding pain, one that made Isla's jaws lock and attempt to bite down as hard as she could on the limb still placed firmly in her mouth.

She catches his left front leg in her teeth, much to his displeasure and his lack of panic short lived in the face of the fact that he was still very much trapped.

Even as his teeth dug into the left side of her neck, he finds she does not let go, but rather bites down even harder into his limb.

The grip is far too much to safely attempt to rip his arm free, so instead, he attempts to make his hold on her neck that much more dangerous, seeking to dig his teeth in further and cause her the same amount of pain (if not more) that she is inflicting on him.

While she can feel her fangs dig deeper into his leg, she would also feel his own teeth embedding themselves further into her neck. It was blinding pain, one that adrenaline could barely dull, and while she fought the tears that threatened to fall from the corners of her eyes she'd squeeze them tightly while letting out an exhale that was muffled by her current hold. But Isla was a stubborn barbarian, and even though his hold upon her neck could be fatal she was not releasing his leg from between her jaws if she had anything to do with it - he could rip it away for all she cared.

A sudden thought then flashed within her mind, and at the last second she would attempt to both jerk her jaws away from his leg in hopes that she peeled back flesh or left deep lacerations while simultaneously throwing her skull back toward the man, attempting to headbutt into the side of his own head, the side closest to her.

For a moment, he is unsure that he will ever get her to free his paw. Certain she intends to rip it clean off of him, yet having no clear way to remove himself, it is a blessing when he senses she missteps.

Using that to his advantage, he takes the headbutt she intends for him as pushes so that she has no choice but to disengage. He is quick to make space between them, and even quicker to stand tall though his paw is in great pain.

Have you not learned your lesson, woman? he asks, tone laced with vitriol. Or do you simply enjoy having pain inflicted on you?

She feels it, the misstep and how it caused for her to release him. It was something that brought with it a feral growl, narrowed eyes pinned on him as he retreated backward, and the thought of him feeling the need to put space in between them only causes for her lips to curl in a rather ominous grin. "There will be a day when you fall," the wildcat begins, ignoring the pain that was beginning to reveal itself due to her adrenaline wearing off, "and when that days comes, it'll be me who does it." She rises to her full height, the several inch height difference showing as she did so. With a glare she will then turn to leave, padding away to find somewhere secluded to tend to her wounds before heading back up to the Summit.
