The commotion intensified, angry words spilling over into clear yells and cries of pain. His ears stayed pressed back but he whined, tipping his head, and barely able to process victory as the lady who'd tried to interfere with his snacking decided to take an item of lesser value. The whites of his eyes flashed, shone glazed and dull in darkness; rather than look at her, he was now engulfed by fear of the approaching raid. He was rather poor at processing distance and time. Particularly when he was tired, awakened in the middle of the night, and half stuffed with hastily-snarfed meat. Suddenly a new voice and an absolutely frightening figure, a silver lion @Lyle who seemed to have a grinning skull for a face and in an equally nightmarish measure a broken, dropped face, and twisted skin beneath that seemed like the faded gristle left from a scavenged kill. Weimar didn't perceived that this stranger - who he knew was a stranger, because he'd definitely have remembered seeing this guy - was trying to help. He was trying to attack the female who'd tried to take his snack! She didn't deserve that. That was far beyond retribution for being a little strict to a cub. A cub he was... not very good at obeying orders, but frightened enough to run. That he had been ordered to run was entirely coincidental. He also saw his father @Bronx, his more talkative father, awash with anger that felt like fear. An anger that should be feared. Violent, untamed, undirected.

He ran from his father, and from the skull boy attacking the snack monitor, not knowing where he was going. Blood streaked down his face, old greasy congealed blood from the meat he had been eating, and he still couldn't smell a thing. Not until he crashed into someone else. Someone much smaller, but even a root you didn't see could trip a full grown man. And she felt malevolent. Like the raid, like the angry man with the skull, like everything half feverish since he'd been woken. He fell while tumbling, or tumbled while falling, and he lashed out with all claws striking to try to protect himself from what he could now smell was an invader. Ears pinned back but eyes were wide and weeping. His maw, broadened with blood-streaked fangs, gaped. Scream.

Alizabeth was expecting an opponent, just not a dumb as fuck big ass bitch like Keligan. A brow arches as he bellows, roaring his intent before barreling toward her. His teeth clip her good ear as her head abruptly shifts to the side - thanks to his announcement she'd known he was coming long before he got to her.

It didn't stop the bleeding cut from being a big ass fucking annoyance. Scowling, her small, agile form shifts back as he launches forward - like hell this dude was going to bully her with his weight. She EXCELLED at fighting big fucks like him. She staggered back, but isn't knocked over due to having expected his attack, preemptively scooching back.

Her chest is somewhat sore from the shove, but she's otherwise rearing to go. "Fuckin' idiot." She snarks, her jaws instantly attempting to snap for his chin, teeth aiming to slice and dice as much skin as possible.

The bitch outright tries to throw her entire frontal area up at his body. Forelimbs attempt to raise and wrap around his neck, talons attempting to lock into the flesh beneath his mane and keep her latched onto him. Back limbs would spread in this motion, trying to hold her balance as much as possible.

It seemed that these pieces of shit couldn't fight fair either - not only did this dude have an advantage on her, one of his little lackies came in to help. HAH. Pain erupts in her side as Novalie attacks, cuts blossoming within the white of her fur and staining it red. This doesn't stop her from continuing her attacks on Keligan's lard ass.

"So fuckin' scared, can't even fight me on your own, huh, bitch?" She yowls, ignoring the newcomer for the most part. She'd deal with that cowardly trash later. Alizabeth was so focused on the task at hand she didn't notice the small black cub that came toddling over to help her. Not yet at least!

The little bastard jerks back as Roarke’s teeth begin to dig in, so he fails to get the grip he wanted. Recluse’s claws tear away from his shoulder, leaving gashes, and he changes his target to Roarke’s cheek. As those teeth begin to nip at his flesh, the giant’s skull snaps to the side and he attempts to smash his muzzle into Recluse’s muzzle hard. Roarke’s claws rip into Recluse’s back and he attempts to keep them there, trying to use his foreleg to trap his opponent in close quarters with him.

"His bite will poison you!" The voice is shrill and tiny, child-like. But it’s the information that she gives that gets his attention.

What? Well, fuck.

There’s no such thing as fair in war, in battle. Roarke has never played by rules, and expecting anyone else to is entirely naive.

That said, going for the ass is just rude.

For a second he has the ridiculous idea that the creature on his back is Isla - their spar had been similar, with her attempting to latch onto his back and ride him - but this bitch is smaller, weighs less, and the attack is more vicious. Their claws dig into his grey fur, into his skin, hooking deep into the fleshy mound of his rear. Roarke growls, low in his throat. The bitch on his back isn’t helping the situation, but the giant doesn’t want to give up his advantage on Recluse. He has no idea the little Viper has joined the fight in his defence. As far as Roarke knows, this is a two versus one fight. Nice to know he’s still that much of a threat.

There’s not much else for it, really.

Without warning, Roarke suddenly drops his weight to his left side and attempts to roll hard and fast onto his back, attempting to squash the lioness on his back and keep his grip on Recluse with his claws in his back to try to drag him down with him. Hopefully hard.

Pleasantly surprised by the ease with which teeth parted flesh, Rugær met his opponent's gaze with a marred and bloody grin. Lightning bolts of sharp pain shot through his face, but he could not worry about that now. Rather, he would embrace it--the way it made his heart pound, his adrenaline surge. There were eyes on him, he was sure, and he could not let those eyes witness a lapse of strength.

Rugær's grin persisted even as claws struck his right shoulder once more, exacerbating older wounds and creating new ones to accompany them, with the force of it sending him a couple steps to the left. As swiftly as he could shift his weight back, he lunged back toward his opponent with jaws splayed in an attempt to sink them into his right shoulder.

WOE to those

Mavour had finally arrived on the scene. She was incredibly late and had all but missed the initial invasion, but she was determined to make her mark on the battlefield! As her paws fell upon the bloody earth her eyes scanned the vicious scene; lions pitted against each other, ripping - tearing - blood spilling and cries deafening in her ears! It was like music! She longed to join them... but who was there to take into her claws?

Finally her eyes spotted their King, and a horde of young ones launching an attack! She didn't truly understand how they thought they could win against such a barbarian that was their King... but then she noticed a much larger opponent coming to their aid.

Of course... the young ones throwing themselves in harms' way would no doubt attract more adults to aid. Mavour knew she needed to act, knew she should assist and wondered why no one else had noticed their King being ambushed!

Mavour rushed the last young man to launch his own attack before the adult male had arrived. She would leave @Velimor for @Aeistrios to deal with. For now, the young woman would teach this cub the horrors of battle!

Mavour saw the young man moving to her King's left flank. Therefore, she moved to attack @Mateo from a perpendicular angle, aiming her jaws right for his scruff in an attempt to sweep him off his feet and throw him onto his side before he was ever able to make contact with Aeistrios at all. Instead he would answer to her! Perhaps she would draw the attention of the other young ones, freeing up the two real contestants to battle without the little ankle biters getting in the way.

Ana was spent. Her body felt like it was on its way to collapsing and she could feel that her eyes did not wish to stay open any longer than they already had. Seeing as she hadn't moved very far away because she knew if she started moving then she would likely fall. So when her eyes fell upon the lioness that she had maimed (my god, she did that?) she could see the tears in their eyes. Analia truly felt for her, body sagging under the emotional turmoil that melded within her. Analia had wounded someone just barely her own age and now the girl was hurt because she had done that.

The only thing to make it worse was the gentle muttering of a sorry that escaped @Khadija's lips and she knew that it was not for her. Swallowing and with her head bowed, she began taking a slow steps backwards. One or two before eventually moving away so as not to intrude but the entire time she did so, all she wanted was to wrap this yearling up in her arms and tell her that everything would be alright. That she was sorry that they had to fight, that she had to hurt her... but this was not the place for it.

Once she was a distance away, she looked up to see that @Eisa was laying crumpled against the ground, with Aeistrios standing over top of her. No... came the quietest words from her mouth as her lower lip trembled and her nose wiggled with the tears that threatened to show. First was sadness that melded with anger, rolling into determination to somehow fix what had been done. Her eyes swept to the lioness that had called for her theft and to @Heloise that fought to keep her in Vermeda. A part of her couldn't help but wonder if being thieved would be better, that way Eisa wouldn't have to be so alone. She couldn't, though... because her family needed someone and if Eisa couldn't do it then she had to.

So the amateur medic began to gaze around their home for plants that were still in tact. Plants that were not raided in their herb dens but rather the one's that continued to grow. Eyes swept to a determined Seraphiel that fought another with great anger. The Plains lion lunging forward towards the vermedan male and going with his jaws to their shoulder. Thankfully there were plenty of painkiller plants that were scattered around Vermeda and the surrounding neutral territories.

Next, one of Aquila's children who had turned one too long ago (and ironically was blind in their left eye too) was fighting the woman from Firnen that she had seen time and time again at the Passage. Elysian was getting hurt by his stomach by her claws, no doubt going to be needing some paste to cover those and let them heal. Analia's eyes frantically searched the rest of his body for any further injuries, hoping that after all this was over she would get the chance to help someone, anyone. That there might even be a better trained healer to help and not just her who was still learning the basics.

His teeth clip Alizabeth's good ear as she shifts her head because of his loud mouth. She staggered back in reaction to his warning before his attack, so she didn't fully get knocked down. Her jaws aim to snap for his chin and in counter, he ATTEMPTED to smack her in the face with full fury and fully extended RIGHT elongated front claws. His jaw slightly parted, he felt her teeth scrape and drag as he shifted himself in an ATTEMPT to head butt her. Blood formed from her teeth as she tries to wrap around her like a monkey in a tree. Feeling her claws rake against his form, slices dug into his skin. Using this opportunity, he ATTEMPTED to shove himself upwards as his fully extended LEFT front elongated claws to scrape the side of her body. His own blood pouring from his wounds from her claws, it only fueled his fury. His back claws digging into the ground beneath him. Surprisingly, @Novalie showed up to the battle. Despite his silence in leaving his pride lands and do this one his own, the lioness came. She barreled at the white, bitchy lioness and the mauve lioness slammed into her with claws, but Alizabeth didn't focus on her. Instead, she shouts out insults. Growling, he kept his eyelids narrowed and ears pinned down. He didn't ask for any of his pride members to come, if they did, it was entirely on their own. Even if Keligan had called for aid, Novalie was deaf and wouldn't have heard him anyway. A young black cub comes into the fray, attacking Novalie. But Keligan's entire focus was on the yappy bitch, not what was going on around him. Rage was all that she could truly feel, and bloodlust. All Hexa wanted to truly do this night was to cause damage, destruction, and chaos. She wasn't sure what the outcome of all this would be once it all ended, but she almost somewhat didn't care. All she knew was that she was the lead fighter for the Plains and that she had promised her king that she would fight for him.

She would do just that.

Her pale claws were able to draw blood. It was satisfying to know that she had done damage to the Brook King himself. But she wasn't done yet. He was only attacking Lachesis and she wasn't going to let him get away with it. Hexa then moved and attempted to attack from behind. She would attempt to bite at his left back thigh.

Well, shit this was not going the way she had intended. Truly, Yelena had not wanted to get involved in a single fight, just grab some prey and get out. Totally harmless, right? Yet, now her cheek stung with pain and the lioness was fiercly attached to her, and Yelena wanted nothing more than to run, to escape. She did not want to fight! She wanted naps. The lioness seemed to double down on her efforts, to bite into her cheek- claws scouring into her neck and so Yelena did the only thing she could think to do.

Yelena aimed to turn her head into the lionesses grip on her face, and with splaying jaws aimed to try to bite into any skin or part of her she could potentially manage to get a hold of. She aimed to swipe out with her paw, hoping to score her claws down the lionesses leg- aiming to rip and tear the skin there as much as possible.
