Following something through the tunnel from west to east, knowing where it led but wondering if the prey she sought did. Once through the tunnel, whatever it had had turned right as soon as they came through. Talisa switched her pathing immediately and followed close, hoping to figure out what it was in front of her so that she might be able to bring a portion of it back to the Summit. Their recent hunting failure had certainly grabbed at her core and they were going to need a little something but she knew that whatever they found today, it might not even be hers. Yet she chuffed anyone for anyone interested in a hunt. Whether they wanted it for the exercise, the food or even the social aspect -- any help was always welcome.

Kireena had cleansed herself prior to leaving her den as she always did and made her way back towards the north. Why? Because it was slowly warming up and the red woman wanted to feel the cooler temperatures on her hide. She walked slowly, with purpose, however. The lioness noted the form of another up ahead, and let her bi-colored gaze pass around when she heard the chuff and gave her own soft answer so as not to scare whatever they might be chasing.

The red lady approached in silence, looking towards @Talisa and though she didn't recognize the scent on her hide, it marked the other as a pride member.. And the lioness absolved to keep even more mum about her own chosen pride as she couldn't be sure what interactions would lead to blood and what might lead to friendship.

The big leucistic male was interested in exploring the world—the new world he was offered the day he arrived with his beloved mother. A land that might offer them the better life they were looking for, and as such, the fluffy feline went up to the northern regions. The cold wasn't a bother to him; he had great respect for any and all natural occurrences and wonders. the stations, the rain, and the wind. Everything gave him joy; nature was but a reminder of the love Mother had for him and his people, and thus he always appreciated the beauty of nature, and the snow-covered tundra was a piece of art to him.

As he walked, he spotted two women, both in hunting mode. As the gentleman he was raised to be, he went to help them. There was no way he would leave the ladies to hunt and work out on their own. He got into position, ready to aid them.

It's curiosity the beckons Maven to trail after the distinct scent of Illyria winding its way past the borders and down into the tundra below. Where did her pridemates like to wander in their free time? Answering the question would offer the girl a distraction she'd found herself needing. Had she realized that she was following in the footprints of the Sovereign herself, Maven would undoubtedly feel quite awkward for nearly stalking the regal woman.

As it is, the yearling is busier studying the rough walls and the curious rock formations that line the tunnel she's wandering through. She'd lived in this area for so many seasons, yet she'd never realized that this passageway was here. How fascinating! But what exactly lied on the other side of it?

The most immediate answer she finds when she emerges back into the light, is @Talisa. The one she'd been stalking, presumably...Oops? It's a relief that the other woman happens to be calling for a hunt - it doesn't seem that strange then, that Maven would show up at her side, pressed low to the ground in an attempt to hide her dark pelt within the tundra's grasses.

Valerian did not often wander this far north, but at least up this way, there would be no rain. The spring showers made the land muddy and difficult to hunt in, and past the mountains he thought the tundra might bring him fortune.

He is in luck on that day, a chuff rising over cold earth that he recognises as a summons for a hunt. Valerian's ears prick and he changes course, finding a group of strangers - and one more familiar face he is glad to see alive. Valerian rumbles a greeting as he comes up alongside the others and @Constantine.

Wandering towards the growing scent, she hadn't any idea why she was continually marching this way. At first the scent had been trailing among the last stretch of greenery to the east of Vermeda. Then it twisted into the earthen mountains and the second that it started going through the snowy places, she knew she should have turned around. The scent, however, was drawing her in with every step that she took as her mouth salivated at the thought of a quick bite. Letting her nose take her wherever it was going, not yet knowing what it was or if she could even take it down solo, but she was able to quickly realize that she wasn't alone in the slightest.

Most were strangers to her that she tried to give a gentle but submissive smile to, immediately finding comfort at her grandmother's side (Talisa) but not without turning her head in a way to see @Maven. A lion from the Summit that she hadn't ever seen before and certainly was interested in getting to know her allies all the more. Hi, she said, hoping to be able to see the girl from her one good eye but not too concerned with anyone noticing. It was hard to tell that she was, thanks to her melanism, and she didn't exactly express it to everyone either.

The huffs of Mircea's breath have become little more than a mindless backdrop as he jogs through the muted fields of the tundra. The powerful beat of his heart matches the rhythm of his brisk steps, a tune to ground and steady him past the not-quite-painful sensation of heat building up in his muscles. It keeps him warm, even as he wandered into chillier territory, though maybe the thick fluff of his coat would've protected him regardless.

He challenges himself by trekking through the trails marking the base of the mountains, his lengthy talons scraping against stone every time he heaved himself up and over, imperfections falling away without a second thought from him.

He would've been content to carry on with his exercise, if only a feminine chuff for a hunt hadn't caught disrupted his focus. But this too, is but another method to hone his ragged body. And he's not the only Savante to have wandered so far across the peninsula - the dappled beast gravitates naturally towards @Constantine and @Valerian both, offering them both a nod and grumble in greeting.

It was good to see that the former had made it here safely after all.

With the new den being set up for herself and for her beautiful wife, Raizel was out on hunts more. Despite being in the snowy, Northern Territory, she was up here on purpose. The warmer, thicker furs pelts was something that she was searching for. Darcy was an older lioness who deserves many comfy beds. As her pink form got into the snow filled land of the Freeze, she perked up her ears for sounds. Hearing a chuff, it was semi-familiar, and decided to head in that direction. The familiar form of @Talisa was soon seen and she smiled. But her own pink form was low to the ground. There were others already gathered but none of them were familiar to the Brook's Lead Hunter. Only that of the Summit Sovereign. Smiling to each, she dipped her head in the direction of each before getting herself ready for the hunt. The anticipation of it. Even though she wasn't hungry, she only wanted the fur and would wait until everyone else had their fill of food.

Jerrik wasn't a good hunter, his mother was but he not as much. But he did want to at least get a decent understanding and skill on said art. If he ever wanted to make a band of his own he needed to be capable in fighting, fighting and navigation as his mother was. For that he didn't want to waste the opportunity for this hunt, both to get a good meal and get some needed practice.

His size didn't help with being too stealthy but he didn't let that stop him. Everyone condo just learn a way to get good even with their disadvantages.

With winter over he guessed prey would be more abundant, so if someone wanted food this might be the best moment of the year for that. He though on the matter, studying the patterns. But keeping this to himself as he waited for the other lions to make a move.
