[OOC: Pride is vague due to ongoing thread :)]

The cold northern climate suited her just fine - she often felt like she was melting in the warmer climates. Especially in the summer. However, being that it was only spring everywhere was quite temperate and enjoyable. The red woman made her way to another place she'd as of yet to step foot and found herself lulled by the scent of sulfur.

Sulfur was useful in many ways, and the lady intended to collect some of it for herself if she could find a way to do so. But first, she needed to do some investigations of her own. Bi-colored eyes glanced around as the rogue-scented lioness trailed slowly around the edges of the hot springs. She had spent an hour or more this morning bathing in a nearby river and ensuring that any scent of her home was washed from her hide.

No need to bring unwanted attention on her head simply for the choice she'd made a few days ago until she had managed to find out how things worked in the multiple different prides here. Kireena kept quiet as she moved, a silent shadow browsing the hot springs in the light of dusk. She had spent the day exploring, and in the waning light, she was brought to the hot springs. Perhaps she might even take the time to have herself a bath...

Still not quite fully over her illness, the cleric woman had taken to soothing her aching, still-recovering body by making semi-frequent trips to the hot springs for soaks. It benefitted her body by relaxing stiffened muscles, and with a long enough soak, also allowed her mind to be at ease for a short while. The Hollows was an interesting place, but there wasn't exactly a place to relax that made her feel closer to Maua as a whole. It left a lot to be desired, but for Alexander's sake, she would remain, ever loyal and ever constant.

The ebony woman is nearly neck deep in spring's water when the softened footfalls of another are heard, ears cusping forward and eyelids opening to watch out for any potential threat that could rise from the situation. Her good eye focuses in on the lioness as she approaches, noting her build, immense scarring and exotic trinket in her ear. Immediately the native woman could tell she was looking at someone from outside of Amaryllis, a foreigner to the land. Aelynthi has no idea the intentions behind the stranger but she offers polite dip of her head to @Kireena, neither inviting or denying the woman to join her, if she so chooses. One never knew how busy a stranger may be.

The red woman continued her perusal of the springs, at least until she noted the form of another, enough to give her pause. @Aelynthi was silent, offering her a nod and Kireena returned it with a quiet hum before she approached a large, flat rock a few lengths from the bathing female and settled on it. "Hopefully I'm not interrupting..." the druid murmured as she got comfortable.

Though the rock wasn't in the springs - it was close enough to be comfortably warm and she allowed herself to stretch full out on the hard surface. Why? She hadn't scented anyone else nearby and the other would make quite a bit of noise lifting herself from the water if she wanted to attack.

But still - perhaps this was a chance to learn more of this land before she bled on the surface of it. "Kireena.." came by way of quiet introduction, the large feline falling silent after. If the other woman wanted to also introduce herself - that was her prerogative.. or they could simply sit in companionable silence.

" Not at all. " It came by way of quiet reply, Aelynthi's attention diverted to the deep maroon woman before her. The stranger settles in on a flat rock out from the springs themselves, before stretching fully out. It was, in her opinion, an obvious display of trust so she put trust into this stranger as well.

Eyelids fluttered closed peacefully as the warm water enveloped her fur fully and began to warm at her skin. It was almost peaceful enough to put the shaman in a meditative state, her mind completely blanking out from current worries. Her only remaining thought remained on Maua, and it was highly unlikely that thought would fall away given her very spiritual nature.

At least until @Kireena speaks up, openly offering up her name to the charcoal elf. With a soft smile, Aelynthi returns the favor. "I'm Aelynthi, lead Advisor of the Hollows. "

+ 5 - meditate (1/2)

The red woman shifted slightly, enjoying the heat from the rock and silence that stretched between them. She went so far as to roll slightly to her back, hind limbs first in the air before one would slowly shift and fall to the side, her forelegs curled up near her breast as her muscles relaxed along her back.

When @Aelynthi spoke her name and rank, the dark pelted giant blinked her eyes open - having almost fallen asleep with the heat and comfort the rock afforded. "The hollows...What's it like there?" She still scented of rogue - and hoped to keep the charade a little longer to learn much about the lands in which she lived now.

Everything falls back into a peaceful state with introductions passed around. It's easy for her to fall back to a thought process regarding Maua, after all, how could she call herself a cleric otherwise? Things lately on the spiritual end of her practice had been a bit boring, mostly the same offerings being given to the grotto and not much else. It all paled in comparison to meeting Daario for the first time. Meeting someone from the afterlife had truly changed her life. The soft bubbling of the springs is easy to lul to mentally, but the silence is broken once more as the lovely @Kireena asks a question. " Well... it's got a lot of caves? I guess someone could consider that easy to guard. I have been here my whole life, raised in the forest, so it's been quite an adjustment. The people make it worth it though. " The colossal woman takes a moment to stretch her limbs out further in the water, before she diverts her good eye's attention back to her company. " Are you liking it here so far? "

+ 5 - meditate (2/2)

"I don't know if I could ever live in a cave system - there's something about the view of the sky.." She chuckled, but smiled at the other woman, her ears tilting forward, agreeing with the sentiment of being in the forest. "I can't say that I'd enjoy that at all.." It had been part of why she had turned down the Hollows representative. The idea of living her life in a cave was... eugh.

@Aelynthi spoke again - questioning if she liked it here so far and the red giant nodded. "So far, yes. I've found plenty of things that are familiar to me - but also things unfamiliar. Some of the herbs that I have found are so similar - but so different than what I'm used to... and those that live here.." Now those... they were different.

Kireena speaks wisely, something Aelynthi can appreciate as a former forest dweller. " I miss it sometimes, how open it is...but there's a very cool spot where the caves open up and it lets you see the sky in the ceiling.... It's beautiful. " She watches, paying close attention to the body language of the maroon colored woman. It wasn't often she saw someone as large as herself, so it was appreciated all the same.

Ears cusped forward in an immediate display of interest as the subject turns to herbology, a hobby and lifestyle of the elf before @Kireena. " There re many herbs here, but if you ever want to learn, I can show you all the tricks of Amaryllis' flora. My family has resided here since the First days. "

The idea of a cave with an opening to the skies above had her interest, her expression sharpening before a smile touched her lips. "That.. does sound interesting. Is it in pride territory or neutral?" Perhaps she'd go do some exploring of her own - check out the area. When @Aelynthi spoke of the herbs and an offer to help, the red giant shifted - sitting up from where she had lounged and coming almost to attention.

"Now that.. I can get behind.. more so than living in a cave." She mused, a grin touching her lips as her gaze focused on the Hollows lioness with interest. "I'm not an entire novice - but I will admit that things here are different enough from what I grew up with that it feels like some remedies won't work as well."

Something they both seemed interested in, then. While the one in Obsidian Hollow was in fact, in pride territory, there was at least a positive that she could mention to Kireena. " Both, actually. There is the one I just spoke of, that is in pride territory, but if you go directly southwest from here until you hit mountainous ranges, there is a cavern system there that has the same thing nearly, it's just a bit of trek through the dark. " The moonlit chasm wasn't exactly her favorite place to travel to, but before she was part of the Hollow, it allowed her the same access to the sky...and some neat herbs that preferred the darker trenches of the chasm. " I'm sure there are some similarities! There are quite a few sneaky herbs I haven't seen outside of the territory though... "
