"Like what? And.. perhaps it is forward of me to ask - but do each of the prides have herbs specific to them? Is there any one pride that governs a particular source?'. If that was the case then some remedies may require extra care when collecting.

Perhaps even so far as a pride ruled by the wrong sort holding power over others seeking use of something that grew freely within their land. Kireena looked towards the dark woman, head tilting as she grinned. "I apologize for the questions. It's.. nice to learn more of this land I've come to find myself in."

" Well, for instance, have you heard of baobab or devil's claw? I was out of Amaryllis, my homeland, for nearly 3 years and in passing I never found them elsewhere... Could have used them in a war, really. " She muses directly in response to @Kireena's question about the specific herbs. It wasn't for lack of looking, either, but if the maroon woman had happened upon those things in her homeland, Aelynthi wouldn't be surprised either. There was much of the world to explore if one only looked. Somewhat unlike her, Aelynthi gives a dismissive tut-tut in regards to the apology Kireena had just issued. " Never apologize for questions, helmolpë. One always has much to learn and that should never be considered a burden. " She remembered the times others hd made her feel like an inconvenience for learning...and she vowed to never make anyone feel like that.

The red woman listened when @Aelynthi spoke of two plants she knew nothing of. "I'm not familiar with the names - but some of the things I've found in my travels here, are similar to things we had where I lived." So it's possible, she supposed of the plants she was familiar with to exist in different lands under different names.

"Are you able to tell me what those herbs do?" Kireena was curious - always interested in learning more things. Of course, it did appear that at least the prides in these lands didn't have something in particular they lorded over. So she supposed that was fortunate in the event she would find herself in need of things. She wouldn't have to go skulking about to find them.

She nods softly in recognition of what @Kireena spoke of, having found some other similarities outside of Amaryllis herself. Perhaps in time the maroon woman would also come to know the local flora as well as her, and it was something she looked forward to. " I'd expect so. Good to hear you are finding alternatives to what you grew up knowing! " She pauses a moment to shift in the water for a more comfortable position, feeling the exhaustion of her legs. " Devil's claw is typically used to help with childbirth and inflammation, even mild sedative purposes. Baobab has many uses too, but primarily in its expectorant purposes or fever relief. You'll find devil's claw in celosia fields to the southwest, and Baobab to the far west. "

The red woman nodded when @Aelynthi spoke of the plants she knew of. The druid catalogued the information away, lips twisting into a smile as she grinned. "I ...thank you. It's interesting that such things have so many different names - but I'm glad that there are those like you that can teach someone like me."

Ironically, Kireena was unaware that it would be her helping the cleric in the future, but that was for another time. The red giant shuffled as she slowly rose to her feet, knowing she really should return. "Thank you.. perhaps we will meet again, yes?"

She certainly hoped so. Kireena shifted back a few steps before she would turn to leave, meandering back towards her home so that she could ruminate on what she'd learned.

The maroon woman is polite and soft-spoken, something Aelynthi has missed gravely in the last six years. It's a refreshing breath of air against the harsh tongued reality of Amaryllis as of late. She listens carefully as Kireena speaks, happy to have met another healer as they spoke of herbs and Aelynthi gave her information to help her get her bearings in this whole new territory. Things were killing to a stop and she could tell it was nearly time to part ways, Kireena's hopeful goodbye serving as confirmation. " Of course! I'm sure we will see each other again! " With that, the dark shaman lifts herself from the spring and begins her semi chilled walk back home to the Hollows.
