Her heart was racing she was so happy to have found someone to spend her last tomorrows with. She understood her time on this earth was fading and she probably only had a few years left at most but she would give everyday or rather every night to @Arachnae. She’d become a nocturnal creature just so that the lovely peach woman before her didn’t have to get hurt by the sun. "That is … thank you." She said softly as she lowered her head. "Oh please hear my call oh Great Soul. I, Darcy Da'lak pray you bless this soul. Arachnae with happiness and good luck." She prayed softly. Her words spoken out loud but gently echoing in the cavern. When done she lifted her paws up and down and danced in place for a few moments to finish her prayer. When done she looked up at Ara with a smile. "Darcy is my real name. I prefer to only be called it in private though. You may call me whatever you like though." She added finally telling her something that she didn’t often tell others outside of her own pride, but now Arachnae was more than her pride she was her heart.

Arachnae watched the woman with overwhelming affection as she spoke softly and dipped her head to pray, the larger peach closing her eyes and joining her in lowering her head and feeling the thrum of her words as she chanted her prayer. The name she gave as she asked her god for their blessing was not one she knew, though as the mauve beauty admitted her true name was one she hadn't heard, Ara would purred and lean forward to gently brush her cheek against her new mate's. I am honored to know your true name, @Darcy. I shall treasure being one blessed enough to use it. She purred. Shall I walk you home, my sweet goddess? She offered.

She was thankful that @Arachnae hadn’t been upset or felt deceived by the fact that she hadn’t been given her real name from the beginning. Though Daredasher was still very much her name. It was a nickname one she has had since she was a young girl. Gifted to her by her grandfather when she was a mere teenager. Oh how she missed her family so and hoped they felt her happiness in her heart. "Yes my darling heart I would absolutely appreciate that, but you have to promise me that when we part it isn’t for long." She cooed as she attempted to gently rub against the peach lady before getting out of the water to leave with her.

She wished such a moment like this could last forever, leaned against one another beneath the moon, even as the elation of her newfound love fading and the throbbing of her blisters returned, she could think of nothing but walking side by side with this beautiful woman as a part of her. My divine beauty, how could I ever dream of spending much time away from your hiding light? She muttered into her fur, pulling back after several moments to step from the pool. She shook the moisture carefully from her paws, wincing silently at the pain.

Readorning her cloak and pouches, the witch would make her way to @Darcy's side before head into the tunnel that would lead them out. Thank you... For being here for me. For wanting to be a part of me. From now on, I'll be certain to fill you in on all the things unspoken. I'll tell you a story every meeting. She somewhat jested. Though, it was true. She would need to tell the woman the many... Many things she had experienced. Ah, there was so much. Hopefully, they had all the time they needed left.

She said nothing in return she blushed and smiled bashful at @Arachnae her words were oh my. She had clearly won this round. "You flatter me too much my darling." Finally she said her voice flustered as she tried to find the right words to say. "I would like to visit you at the summit sometime but I must admit I am scared to go there. After the challenge… the the souls and the cliffs." Panicked slightly her heart raced now more in fear than anything else. "I don’t want someone to think I am a trespasser and throw me over as well." Her voice turned scared and into a soft whisper as her darling lady came to stand next to her and they walked. At the idea of being told stories she smiled softly calming just a little but still very shaken by the memories she had at the summit. "I shall tell you stories as well and maybe one day we can tell them to little ones." With both them getting older she would wonder if they would have any together as a couple or find some to adopt. Adopting was perfectly ok with her.

Arachnae couldn't help but feel a tiny bit of pride as the smaller beau failed to find any clever quips to return, flustered at the witch's vocalization of her love and loyalty. I could never. She countered sweetly. @Darcy deserved endless praise, and she would be sure to be generous with her loving words.

As the goddess spoke more, about wishing to visit Arachnae but still feeling fear from the war, the peach woman frowned, deep concern bordering her two toned gaze. Darcy, my love, there is never any need to fear the mountain as long as you are part of the Brook. The prides are nearly considered one, any are free to visit as they please- as a noble I can promise you this. She said, hoping she was reassuring.

I am sorry you had to witness such travesty.... I suppose there is some information about the prides alliances and enemies you need filled in on. What happened there was the result of generations of bloodshed and war.... The queens are growing weary and wrathful of the enemy- the Rike. The witch explained.

Dark cheek would lean over to rub against the top of her partners head should she allow, a soft sigh escaping her. I am always here to hear your troubles, your dreams and your nightmares, my sweet goddess. I will be hear to protect you from flesh or spirit, until my final breath. Though farfetched, Arachnae felt genuine in her promises. She would fight demons to keep Darcy safe.

Seeing @Arachnae frown she felt disappointed in herself. To take the smile from peach witch’s face should have been a crime. Yet the words that followed made her ponder for a few moments. "It did have a nice view, than any view with you is nice." She hummed softly as they walked. Ears perked as there was something she apparently didn’t know about as to why what happened that day had happened. Which was clear, but she hadn’t exactly expected to be told it. The frustration between enemies was something that had built up for a while? "This enemy the Rike. Do you know anything else about them? Family feuds lasting generations seem like a little much. I would think if things were so bad one family would leave to find a more peaceful place to live." She questioned not understanding that one side did leave and the other side followed. Rubbing against Arachnae in return for her rubbing against her she purred again finding comfort in the woman.

Arachnae would peering lovingly at the smaller woman as her expression became on of thought, and after a moment she would recall upon the prides view and once against send heat to her cheeks with honeyed words. And any view with you my goddess is surely to be considered heavenly. She purred.

The topic would shift to the war and the feud, and the witch would try to recall what she knew of the long standing bloodbath. The feud between the Rike and the Sigrún started long, long.... Long ago. I do not know all the details, but the Sigrún follow a god named Vellen, and their traditions are one of the reasons the war still rages. The Rike wish to eradicate them, and the Sigrún simply wish to protect their home and lives. And at this point, avenge the thousands slaughtered. She explained.

Warmth tingled through each of the priestess's limbs as she brushed against the smaller woman, eyes peering ahead to see moonlight flooding through an exit in the distance. ..... I love you, @Darcy. She purred.

Oh well now wasn’t this nice. She found herself blushing even more now. "Only because you are there." She countered. These little counter flirts could turn into a no you very easily and potentially already had. However as @Arachnae began to speak to answer her question about more information about the Rike folks she listened closely. "War is pointless. I understand wanting to protect the ones you love. It is just killing because someone else killed is a never ending cycle. I don’t know what these Rike folks have against the Sigrun and their god but whatever it is I pray to the Great Soul that they can find common ground one day and every one can find happiness just living." She wouldn’t try to pry too much into it as it wasn’t her place. But it still worried her that so many had died in this long feud between the families.

Shaking her head she looked forward to see the exit up ahead as the moonlight shined in more. She almost wished they had gotten lost so she could spend more time with Arachnae. Ears then perked as she felt the woman rub on her again and her heart felt like it stopped for a moment at her words before it sped up again. "I love you too Arachnae." Loudly purring she shifted attempting to gently rub her head against the peach priestess’s neck.

Arachnae would sigh happily in defeat, the mauve lionesses sweet words seemingly winning this round. Any future where they would be together would be okay. Things.... We're going to be okay. She could only pray those she's lost along the way have found peace... And pray that now she and the woman before her could find peace as well; side by side.

The talk of the generations of bloodshed would damped the mood for only a moment, though each second Arachnae looked upon the spotted visage before her her heart fluttered in her chest. I too hope the unbreakable cycle will end. It's the root cause to many conflicts in Amaryllis.... The unconstrained chaos is a bad omen for the days to come. She would shake her head, but place a soft smile upon her kaw once again. But regardless, as long as you are by me, it will okay. She said.

The peachy priestess felt her heart threaten to burst from her chest as @Darcy returned the special words, like a flower threatening to bloom from her ribs. She felt overwhelmed... Relieved... And in that moment a little less alone. She would have to keep her beloved safe from fate itself. Forever and always, my sweet goddess. She would purr, leaning into her wife's embrace as they made their way from the labyrinth.
