Oh, dear. A small, colorless male clearly overheard her — Léonie saw the way his expression changed, the way his pale cheeks burned. She had never met @Nero before, so she could do little more than wonder who he was to her. She didn’t need long to come to a conclusion though.

Then, quite suddenly, an even smaller lioness appeared, and what she lacked in size, she made up for with her presence. Léonie snickered, especially when @Alizabeth chimed in that Tiamat was crazy. @Ghyslaine tried to defend her, but Léonie turned her focus back to her. “Friends don’t attack friends and keep them away from their husband and kids,” she informed her, her smile sinking a little. “And claiming and holding someone as their prisoner isn’t really the same thing.” Finally she shrugged her striped. “But, whatever, I guess. It’s your headache.”

Around her, the squabbling was increasing. @Ronin was having words with— wait, that was the drunken Queen who ruled alongside Tiamat! And there was @Alaric, of course. Léonie could’ve ignored him and walked away, and probably would’ve too, had it not been for the runt that came creeping in — @Hekate.

The imp paused suddenly, her hazel eyes narrowing on the twerp. She wore familiar stripes and was decorated with the ivory splashes of Aidoneus. Léonie knew her mother had given birth to Alaric’s children — but that was some time ago. This one was young, leaving her assume that the pair had made more little gremlins together. The very thought made her nose wrinkle.

However, her ear flicked to catch Alaric growling about his wife. “Wife?” she asked aloud. “Her, your queen, my mom — how many women are you FUCKING?” she snorted darkly, her expression dangerously close to a sneer. A dozen kids and half that many wives — my, Alaric was GREEDY.

Wife Nu. 21 stepped up then, ready to take a bite from Ronin.

Was this the business of a recently returned lion who even then, had no previous knowledge or ties to the land of Amaryllis at all? No, probably not, but still the wayward bastard moved forward without a second thought about it. His large paws left soft thuds on the ground's surface as he seemed to follow the same trail that all others filed in on.

He was careful to linger back. After all, he did not belong with the pride members- nor with the opposing side. He was a mere onlooker who begged for the same knowledge all were here to collect in some fashion or another. He deserved his equal part as well. Gaze swept over the various faces, none of which he knew.

He supposed he would settle his main focus on the one who created the disturbance in this otherwise seemingly peaceful territory. Or was it? As there seemed to be squabbles amongst the others who gathered as well. Regardless, he was sure this would be an interesting event to witness.

The skagos punk arrives with little fanfare, steps quiet upon the sands, easily forgotten in the mass of unfamiliar faces. The press of all these strangers trespassing on his home would bother him only in one context, and he studies each face in turn. He only has eyes for one -- seafoam gaze sweeps across, looking for @Calypso. He does not see her here and quietly he's pleased. He shifts his weight, remaining on his feet and alert, but clearly isn't too bothered by the proceedings. Petty arguements and drama break out in the groups around him but he ignores it, keeping an eye out for his wife and the queen to arrive. The sovereign would either win or she wouldn't -- the challenger, a tabby-swirled woman, was a stranger as well. Ears tick, waiting, watching.

Colsun sighed. He was tired of the lagoon changing hands (not that it had changed once since Tiamat had taken over) and missed when the sandy shoreline was considered his home and not somewhere he had to request permission to visit. He never had, of course, because even Colsun understood how awkward that would be for everyone involved and he wasn't terribly sure Tiamat liked him enough to extend that courtesy. Begrudgingly, the colossal yearling toddled his way towards the large gathering and began searching for Hubert, curious to see if he was over by his family or pride. No such luck. With only one goal in mind and having failed it, the boy unobservant boy slumped onto his haunches to watch the fight with a look of boredom.

Her pace was a meandering trot as she approached that beachy scene, her nose slightly wrinkled at the overwhelming scent of seawater. Sedona followed after the lingering traces of a few oasis members, interested to see what might come of a challenge for the lagoon pride and entirely uninvested in the results. As long as her family came away unharmed, it was all fun and games. Her gaze searched the crowd easily for a place to sit, noting that the main event had not yet started – only a hushed thunder of bickering told of the brewing tensions there.

This was when she realized that her Léonie lingered near the center of it. Her weak eyes picked out the striped form of her companion, her chest tightening as she managed to piece together some of what was happening. “Her, your queen, my mom — how many women are you FUCKING?” Though the specific context of the accusation was lost upon the young lioness, she knew the sound of uncharacteristic anger from her friend when she heard it. She knew her voice, tight and tense. Sedona's paws began moving before she could truly command them to, carrying her across the sands until she attempted to come up silently behind her – attempting to touch only her tail in a silent gesture of her presence.

It was all she could do for one she knew remained so wounded inside by absence: be present. Her brows furrowed and her stomach churning helplessly, Sedona watched and waited.

Of course the call would come so soon after she had given birth. She was still tired from the labor and the squealing bundles that squirmed at her side, needing so much attention. The call pulled her from sleep and the only relief was that it was not Alizabeth's voice that called. She tucked the little ones, their eyes still closed, into a set of furs that lined the bottom of the den, making sure they would be warm while she was away. And then she pulled herself out of den and onto the sandy shores of the Lagoon - her queendom.

By the time she arrived, the scent of birth still clinging to her (it hadn't even been a full two days since they were born, and she'd had to bury two of them), and there were already many lions gathered. Enemies, too, for she recognized @Ronin quickly, in a stand-off with @Tinúviel. Others were gathered, including the white form of @Alizabeth, whom she ignored completely. Her closest ally, @Alaric was also present, and she hoped that he would help her expel the trespassers that surrounded them.

The lion that she chose to approach was @Ghyslaine, who was actively defending her, despite the fact that she had, indeed, knocked her out and taken her hostage. She came close, attempting to brush her side against the other woman, who she had grown quite fond of in their short time together and their only other meeting since. "You are too kind to me," she said softly, before moving forward, closer to the one who is challenging her today.

But she stopped near Tinúviel first, concern creasing her brow. "You don't have to fight him," she said, just as softly to her co-queen. "Only if it's what you really want." But she didn't have time to linger. There was a challenge to meet.

Before she flung herself at her opponent however, Tiamat raised her head to yell at those that were gathered. "Andal Oasis is an enemy of the Lagoon," she announced, for all gathered to hear. "Remove them!" An order for her members and a request for her allies; get rid of any who dared to come here today. Only then did she level her gaze to Alizabeth, finally. "Her as well," she said loudly for everyone to hear. The Summit was more of a gray area. "Ghyslaine and Nero are allowed to stay," she said, looking to the couple for a moment. "Any other Summit members are advised to get out. Now."

And then she flung herself forward.

She was still several yards away from where @Fernweh stood, giving her the chance to pick up speed quickly. There would be no talking with this lioness from the Summit, not today. She was done talking and she would defend her throne with tooth and claw. For Tinúviel. For Carina. For her children. She aimed to slam into the lioness head-on, chest to chest, at her full speed, hoping to knock her backwards several steps and knock the wind from her completely for a few moments. As she came closer she also reached out her jaws in an attempt to grab the girl - for she was barely more than that - with her teeth, right where her neck attached to her head.

Try as she might, she could not save the young lioness from her own actions. Lyric remained a hunched, bristling cat as the masses began to flock to the slightest hint of chaos, some daring to cross their borders and others not. Curling their lip with a snarl, the maned lion growled as cats of several various banners arrived. While bickering broke out nearby, no blood would be spilled until the aforementioned queen arrived and began barking her orders.

"Andal Oasis is an enemy of the Lagoon. Remove them!" Only then did they remove themselves as a barricade, winding their paws around in a circle to face the rest of the masses. Two particularly vocal lions smelling of the oasis seemed already occupied by her furrier, smaller queen, and Lyric was not about to steal the pixie's glory. She twitched her salmon nose in search of the scent of sand, finally setting her sights upon a large, rouge-colored lion sitting apart from the rest.

"You heard the boss," they shrugged with mock regret. "I must remove you." It was all the warning they gave before lurching forward, attempting to close the distance as their paws beat steadily into the lagoon sands. Lyric tried to drive her jutted right shoulder into the stranger's left flank with a shove, simultaneously lifting her left paw with her claws arched to try and rip them down the center of his chest. Get out, or else.

He had trailed his wife here, not at all surprised by her wanting to attend. The Warden had been uncharacteristically clingy of the small war torn woman ever since her last return. He'd be damned if @Alizabeth went missing again. Although he hardly allowed her to be too far from his line of sight, he did not smother her. Even now he moved to simply stand behind her.

His eyes caught sight of their son who neither had seen for some time. Alabaster chuffed toward @Colsun. Not really a summons but the invitation to join his parents was there all the same. His children were practically grown now. They were their own lions. So he would respect their decisions at spreading their wings away from the protective shadows of their parents.

His attention and readiness moved toward the crowd. He noted the bickering going on between some but paid it little mind. Their soap opera wasn't any of his business. But what was his business was the safety of his family. As Tiamat arrived and the challenge commenced, Alabaster slipped forward to be beside Aliza. He towered there as he watched those around them.

Defenses remained in place even as he was told no to fighting the male only for Tinny to step up to start squaring off with the AO male.

Nodding to his Queen as she stood ready to show action in the face of the disrespect the enemy had been showing her. In his eyes his respect for her rose. Ears perked for a moment as Tiamat arrived and gave the order to expel the trespassers. Staying who was enemy, who should be seen out and who could stay.

Ears re-pinned on his skull as he looked with narrowed eyes at Alizabeth. 'Her as well.' Well good enough for him.

Stepping towards the loud white lioness he bent his legs, toes spread to help him keep from slipping on the sand as he looked at her with a growl in his throat. "You heard the Queen. Get out!" He demanded as he attempted to charge at the targeted lioness. Trying to come at her from her front more on the left side as he attempted to push her with his chest. Chin tucked to protect his throat as he also attempted to grab her shoulder with opened jaws. This was a real fight. No fake bites this time for the meat head.

Caillen once more sought to enjoy a challenge, a good one to enjoy as she always did since she was young. The girl entered finding quite the familiar faces, family and friends alike. Naive as she was she didn't mind the tension...all were just nice lions on her eyes. She was mostly neutral about all of this. Her eyes landed on diverse individuals. Her mother, Alaric, Neph, and even her beloved father. "Hello! Mom!! Alaric!! Dad!!! How are you all???" She asked approaching them yet taking a seat near her mother, wanting to watch the main event. A few fights were already started. Nothing surprised her anymore. She stretched her limbs and yawned a bit, this might take a while.
