Ygritte tried to not stay in the broke very much these days. She just didn't feel like it was home anymore so she trudged out of the borders and into the Grove. Probably not the best place for her to be either but it was the farthest her paws would take her before Ygritte found a tree to curl beneath and cry away her pain. She was in terrible pain, though not physical it was all mental and emotional. Losing a parent wasn't the best thing for her, and Ygritte hadn't properly grieved over Nymeria's death like everyone else had done. She had buried herself into her work.

The little pink Ranger had been wandering around checking her caches that she had been making. Not only did she make several within the pride's borders but she hid multiple in the Grove as well. With the pride being as large as it was, the need for as many caches as she had dug was critical. As Raizel walked within the Grove, her ears perked up at the sound of someone crying. Worried it was someone hurt, she moved herself towards the sound of the crying. Pink gaze glanced around as she tried to find the source until she saw it. Or rather her. It was a little lioness crying by a tree and the scent that came off of her told Raizel that she was also from the Brook. Clearing her throat to hopefully not startle the other lioness, she approached her carefully. Stopping about a yard away, she spoke in soft tones. "Are you okay?"

So engulfed in her own grief, Ygritte hadn't been aware that she would bring attention to herself. Her ears pricked up when she heard a voice, a scent swimming to her nostrils and giving her the notion that she wasn't alone anymore. Blinking away darkness just to have it engulf her once again, Ygritte's head would slowly come up and tilt in the direction of the voice and scent. No.. But I'll be alright.. Eventually. She would admit to the newcomer. Her mind was foggy, hazy from grief and unclear. She wasn't used to it and it was something the cleric would have to get through. I'm sorry if I worried you.

The little pink Ranger would watch the crying lioness as the other would eventually speak. Sitting down slowly, she would flick her ears as she listened. The lioness smelled like the Brook, a fellow pride mate and as such, Raizel was still worried. "I'm willing to be a pair of ears if you'd like to talk about it." Pausing for a moment, she then added, "I'm Raizel, the Brook's newest Lead Hunter." Giving her name and her rank, one that she had worked hard to achieve. Flicking her ears forward, she would hope to gain a name and some information about new fellow pride mate.

She wasn't good at hiding things so it was of no surprise whenever the other offered to listen to her problems. It caused Ygritte to smile at her, though it was a sad smile, it was helpful. I appreciate it but I don't want to burden you. And she really didn't. So far Cerberus and her cousin knew of how bad her grief was but even then, Ygritte was pretty sure Cassandra wasn't fully aware of it as much as she'd like to know. Ygritte had grown silent and stayed to herself these days but she knew it was time she pushed herself out of her little hole of solitude. Its a pleasure to meet you, I'm Ygritte - Lead Medic.

The request to listen was denied by the other lioness as the Medic didn't want to burden the Ranger. Flicking her ears forward, she was given a name and found out her rank. It's nice to meet you @Ygritte. How long have you lived in the Brook? Tilting her head, Raizel then thought of how long she had come to be in the pride. It was during the height of Summer and when Winter was starting to show headway, the pink Ranger was given her rank. But it was due to all the hard work of the many hunts she led and attended.

Ygritte was grateful whenever her grief wasn't pushed to the surface right now. It was much appreciated and Ygritte was able to focus on what the newest conversation held. Ever since I was born. Well not really. She had been found a month into her life by none other than the woman who had recently passed away. How about yourself? Anything to turn the attention away from herself. The woman before her smelled fairly new to Ygritte but then again the Medic hadn't been learning about the newest recruits like she should be and it showed in the lack of Ygritte knowing about this woman's scent already.

When the lioness mentioned that she was born within these lands and of the Brook, Raizel thought of the land she was forced to leave behind. It was over a year ago since she first arrived on this island. I first joined in the height of Summer by Cassandra, here in the Grove. The High Sovereign had been a constant in the pink Ranger's time since joining. Raizel often spent her time hunting for the pride but Cassandra had joined nearly every hunt that she called for over the last several months. Pink gaze looked around before going back to @Ygritte. How long have you been the Lead Medic?

With the mention of her cousin, the blind medic would smile in no particular direction. Cassandra is a wonderful leader. And she was, it was something that Ygritte admired her cousin as she stayed and defended their home. I am glad you joined us. Was another comment the Medic said as she would soon hear another question being asked. Just recently, I've been practicing to become a medic for a while. Her whole life but it was just recently that she had indulged in anything other than the medical properties of the herbs. But that wasn't something she'd give away unless asked of course, Ygritte didn't want to bore @Raizel.

The pink lioness would nod to herself in agreement to what @Ygritte had to say about Cassandra but then continued to listen. It seemed like both were recently promoted into their ranks. It is a blessing then. Medics are well sought out and needed. I'm sure you have attended to the many needs for the High Sovereign in her time. Between children and challenges, having a Lead Medic was a good thing to have. The Ranger was helpful in keeping the pride well fed. I believe in the mission of the Brook and feel like we can all conquer our dark days. A slight hint in trying to keep the Medic cheered up.
