Reah moved beside Aeistrios, keeping up his pace as they approached the borders of the brook. She noticed the man with red fur, it seemed that he was the one who wished for the brook. Her husband mentions something to the man, about how Cassandra was fast, so the stranger had to be faster.

Her beloved husband seemed to have already found a victim then, the large plum woman that wasn’t too far off. Reah stood on the neutral side of the border beside Renfri. Yet not soon after, an older man with a limp approached Renfri, deciding to fight her. Reah watched carefully, almost feeling bad for the elder. Was the Brook really that weak? They had to send their elders into fights rather than the younger and stronger individuals? She was disgusted, as she knew that when she would grow old she would rather rest and enjoy the end of her days. To have an elder fight for the Brook just made them all look like cowards.

It seemed a young girl (Solanum) was upset that Aeistrios was trying to claim a woman, and Reah stared down at the girl with a piercing gaze. Reah wanted to tell her to shut her mouth, but Aeistrios already told her to run away. Another older man approached her and said that he only had quarrels with Aeistrios. Reah shrugged then, not giving him a vocal response. She couldn’t control her husband, and supposedly, the Vermeda man couldn’t control his daughter.

Reah was growing bored and restless, and she noticed a dark male with a coat similar to hers. They both were shadows and so she was drawn to him. She stalked forth, she wouldn’t try to be secretive, but she bared her teeth at him, a challenge. She flattened her ears against her skull and narrowed her obsidian eyes, and without much notice, she would try to leap forward. She hoped to slash her claws right across the bridge of his nose.

Her vicious attack lands, fangs sinking in around his cheek bone and claws sinking into his shoulder and ripping downwards. A part of her felt pleasure in knowing she'd managed to draw first blood on her opponent. The Queen would not back down from this without a fight as fierce as she had done before, and a fight that Morrigan would be proud of her for doing. She was a Greyflood through and through when she engaged in a fight these days, and it was showing more and more as she had to fight to protect her home and her crown.

She would not be underestimated.

His headbutt would shake her grip on his face loose and cause her to move her head backwards, and his claws only left slight wounds in their wake rather than slashing fully into her neck as she moved backwards from the headbutt. Enraged as her head pounded slightly from the headbutt, Cassandra would aim to rip into his right shoulder even deeper with her right foot while simultaneously aiming to slice her left front claws down his right front leg. As she aimed to rip into his leg and shoulder with her claws, her jaws would aim to open as she aimed to move her head forward once more in an attempt to grip her fangs around his muzzle on the right side.

@Gunnhildr met his gaze from her hiding place. His lips curled back to flash his teeth at her as a warning. Then you best stay there. I will not have the Mire causing problems. He growled in response to her submissive statement. He could say little more because the real trouble makers appear to be the Plains. The arrival of Aeistrios brought the beginning of various fights around him. He would be no different it seems for @Reah wished to brawl with him. His face was already damaged, marred by the crossing of newly scabbed lacerations dealt to him by Adalwolf. She has leapt into his path and raised her claws to him. They swung to his face and so Myrkvi would seek to turn his head, leaning forward enough to attempt to snap his jaws around her ankle and walk forward with it in an effort to wrench the limb by pushing it in a direction it didn’t belong in. Her claws would break the skin by his cheek and ears. Her claws connected to his cheek and ear, and she felt delighted knowing that she had been able to draw blood from the Vermeda man. However his jaws had gotten a grasp around her wrist, and she couldn’t help but snarl in pain as his teeth punctured her skin. Rage began to boil deep within her chest, like a wave of fiery anger burning like wildfire. She had not gotten into a proper battle in perhaps years, but now a true monster had been unleashed. Her opponent pushed forward and she cackled like a crazed witch, even despite the dull pain from her wrist being in a position that was uncomfortable.

The Arcane Queen would take advantage of his forward advancements. While her paw was still by his face, she attempted to roughly jerk her paw towards the side of his face once more and hoped to rake her claws against his cheek again. It was not ideal and was painful for her ankle, but any care for her own well-being was totally disregarded, as she was utterly bloodthirsty. While doing this she also tried to shove her face forward and viciously hoped to bite the other side of his opposite cheek.

Myrkvi is a bloodthirsty creature. Every battle against another is a step closer to him being willing to do just whatever he could to inflict pain and damage. Chaos continued to break out around the pride challenge and he simply added to it now because the Plains felt like being pot stirrers. Myrkvi knew what lack of self preservation felt like. He sought to clench his jaws onto the limb he successfully captured to deepen his bite and grip even has she yanked on it. The movement dragged her claws through the thin flesh between his forehead/temple/cheek and blood bloomed in kind. He could see from the corner of his vision Reah coming for his face in an effort to bite it. The Jarl would seek to jerk his head in her direction in an attempt to headbutt her and dodge the grip while aggressively pulling her own limb with him. He aimed to hit any sensitive part of her face to deflect any grip. Ronin had chewed on his face enough. Her teeth would cut the already scarred flesh of his left cheek, leading to more cascading blood down his face. The call comes again, this time from a stranger - no surprise, since the last challenger had managed to steal the Plains instead - that she has never seen or heard before. Revna is quick, but she is some distance away when the challenge comes. She races through the trees of the grove, her daughter and her wife foremost on her mind, with the pride as a whole a close second. No longer the sovereign, she still cares deeply for the Brook and would willingly rush to the defense of any of its members.

By the time she arrives, there are multiple fights ongoing. Myrkvi is deep in battle with a woman who smells of the plains, though Revna has not seen this particular one before. There are two others, however, that she does recognize. The woman she had fought before is already in battle with one of the other brook members, and the plum idiot who rules the Plains was making a claim for one of the Brook women. She is already fighting for herself, but Revna can see that there is still time for her to join in the defense too.

She does not see @Helah. Nor does she imagine what might be going through the woman's mind at that moment. Instead, she leaps forward, beginning to make her way toward Neytiri and Aeistrios, tunnel vision for the fight she intends to join to defend her pridemate.

Her opponent was just as ferocious as she was, and she felt his sharp fangs dig themselves deeper into her flesh. The feeling was no doubt terrible, but she knew that she couldn’t let it stop her continuing the battle. With this, she could also see that blood spewed from his head now, and she let out another snarl that was mixed with pain but also satisfaction. He quickly moved and his head rushed towards her, her mouth took the force and her teeth blossomed with pain. She squinted from the reaction and closed her eyes for a moment. Still, she refused to allow the pain to get in the way and stop her, not now.

With all of this, her teeth had lacerated his left cheek, and more blood began to spew from his face. She let out a low and guttural growl at the sight. The brute had pulled her limb closer to him as well, and her ankle throbbed with hot pain. The dark lioness decided it was time for a different approach somehow. She tried to rip her ankle from his jaws, so she could somehow save it, and maybe try another attack with the same limb. Though the bite would surely be deep. With her jaws still near the man’s face, she also attempted to bite at his left ear.

With rage burning in her heart, Reah decided to try and use her free forelimb. She would try to slam her unsheathed claws at the left side of his chin. She would be putting her balance at a disadvantage just to try and get more hits on the brute’s face. She didn’t care much, all she wanted to do is rip and tear into the inky lion.

In the lioness's short time in these lands, so many pride challenges had been called. And this was the second time for her home to be threatened to be snatched from Cassandra's rule. The chaos that surrounded this island was so different from how Gaia operated when someone wanted to take over a Clan. But the fights lately had often turned into War. She was slow to edge herself out of her den. A part of her wanted to stay hidden but she needed to know. Heading to an area where there was a muddy shore at the waterline within the pride land, trying to cover her pink pelt to become brown and help hide her scent better. Once she got herself situated the best she could, then she headed to where the challenge was. Staying low to the ground, she tried to stay hidden under some brush and watch the challenge between Amaroq and Cassandra. Silently pleading to her Totem and to the Ancient Spirits that the High Sovereign would continue her reign.

It was at this point he felt rather irritated by the whole ordeal. For this trespass on his home. For the audacity of this lioness to attack him. For the Plains who seem to desire to just be irritating as fuck. For Aeistrios fighting his daughter. For many things. He let his neck relax enough to jerk with Reah’s attempt to free her limb, opting to move with it rather than fight her directly about it. Let her hurt herself further on his teeth. Though he felt a strong desire to fucking break it and his jaws sought to try to clench further at the idea. Her jaws find shallow purchase on the thin skin surrounding his flattened ear, protecting the main organ even as teeth sought to damage it. Blood welled as it always does. Though he could not see it, he felt the shift of Reah’s weight as she opted to fight on two legs against an opponent who stood on all four. How awkward for her to try to be reaching for his chin with those claws like that where they merely snagged the skin superficially since his head was tilted and turned away from her. It was here that he would opt to try to step forward to push her upwards before his body suddenly jerked to throw his weight fully to the opposite side of the limb he held onto in an attempt to pull the lioness off balance and possibly just drop her to the dirt for her risky choices. Reah was like a rabid dog, disregarding all her safety and merely only having one goal in mind. She wished to destroy and cause chaos, especially for the dark lion within her grasp.

She felt his jaws relax, but he did not seem to let go, instead, they went even deeper and she snarled in anger. Thankfully the taste of his blood fuels her as her teeth snag his ear, and causes more blood to pour from his head. The blood only fueled her hate for the Brook opponent.

Her claws snagged the skin on his chin, and she felt the man shift. She feels her weight get tossed, but she allows it to happen and instead shifts her weight and forces her forelimb back down and away from his chin. However, she is still stuck with three legs on the ground, and her arm is still mangled and caught in the man's jaws.

With one last attempt, the Sovereign attempts to bite viciously at his throat, while attempting to slash the side of his neck with her claws from her free forelimb once again.
