Remembering this area as one lovely with plant life, the aspiring medic had returned to fetch a small batch of herbs. But it appeared that there would be something even better in store for her today; a hunt was on! Her fellow felines had done a wonderful job of placing themselves about the area in wait, and the young girl sought to join them, crouching somewhere toward the middle of the pack. Long, light, and lean, she was made for the chase, and felt eager now to do what her body was created to do.

The grove was closer to the Brook than other hunts that she'd stumbled upon, she had rubbed through ferns, to cover her scent as she followed the trail of a gemsbok- she hadn't expected to find a group of others hunting, and yet that was what she found.

She slowly approached them, creeping up quietly, moving silently as she joined the small group. She crouched, holding her tail aloft, as she moved up alongside them, to the right of the group- setting herself up to creep around the creature- ready to drive it into waiting paws.

The grove was much drier than the Mire, something Vulferam thoroughly enjoyed. He was able to move a lot quieter on solid ground, not having the squelching and squishing noises one would typically make while traversing the pride territory. Every now and then the Prince would stop, coal eyes looking around and deciding to put these trees to his good use. Rising onto his hind legs, Wolf would allow for his claws to unsheathe and grip into the bark of a tree. Raking them down it, he'd watch as indents were left behind as well as fraying and peeling bark. He would do this several more times before he heard the rustling of something running nearby.

Dropping down back to all fours, the melanistic yearling would sniff the air. Catching the scent of the gemsbok he would begin to stalk toward it, keeping himself covered by thick brush while he inched closer and closer to both prey and the group of lions already gathered. He'd also use the brush and flora to his advantage, rubbing along them in order to soften the scent of both lion and Ecrosia.

The grove was a place Arkyn interested in. It had the concealment he was looking for for what he had in mind, as well having plenty of prey around. The gnarled roots and thick brush brought with it the opportunity to set traps for those who were unwelcome. Yellow eyes were analytical and observing as he moved through the grove, the sounds of movement - and lots of it - catching the Viking's attention. Feeling a bit curious today Arkyn would follow the sound, scenting the air as he went. Many scents of lions wafted on the cool air, intermingling with that of scent of prey. A low rumbling would sound within his chest as he neared, keeping a small distance and readying himself for when the time was right.

SENTINEL

The perfect place for collecting! Happy to have roamed this way yet again, she moved quickly to begin separating the ashanti pepper from its whole of a plant. Their large bulbous green leaves would help tremendously with her high sovereign's after birth pains and so she wanted to gather up as much as she could. Taking good care to dictate what the healthiest one was; if it was just getting to the dark forest-y green color, then it was perfect. Just as the orange, glowing fruits on its body had to be just right. Their flavor was just a little sour sometimes but Tiamat was a strong individual and could certainly handle it.

Once she obtained a couple of the pepper plants, she moved off from the plant-searching only to find several lions gathered. A quick sniff of the air (attempting to block out the plant in her mouth) she sensed some time of four-legged creature nearby. Shuffling her plants down onto the ground near to a tree, hiding it away, she then proceeded to move towards those gathered. Just a little exercise to help these fine folks and then she would return to Tia.

Amethyst Grove was another territory that Lukas had yet to explore. He had lived quite the sheltered life within the brook, never venturing far from home in fear that something would happen to his family. He'd already got himself lost and injured once - doing so again was not really an option for the melanistic child.

Departing the brook and making his way through to the Grove, the child takes a moment to explore. He had never been here before, and the crevices and secret hideaways were all incredibly interesting - until the boy caught scent of a prey animal that so desperately required his attention. Adjusting his trajectory, Lukas joined the group and awaited further instruction.

In his own territory, it was easy to navigate the zig and zag of the forest. Spark had been hunting here since he was a cub, clumsily following behind his father or older cousins as they taught him how to track prey through the maze of rocks and trees.
Now, he used that knowledge to help the group keep track of the running blesbok. It would be easy for the animal to slip out of sight in the trees, but with so many lions on its trail Spark doubted it would be successful. This was going to be a good hunt, he could just feel it.

As far as hunting went, Bowen reckoned he couldn't pick a nicer arena. Though he was partial to the thick of the forest, tree trunks and wily root systems made for dangerous hunting grounds. But out here... wide open and beautiful... he could get used to this. With the amount of lions that he could sense present already, he figured the chase would soon be on, and so he found a nice little spots on the outskirts to sit and wait should the gemsbok aim get spooked and aim its flight in the other direction.

The grove had always been a place that Markus had a slight interest in, but one he had never particularly had chance to explore. It meant walking through the various different neutral territories that Amaryllis had to offer, but today the Rike man seemed content on letting his paws take him where they wanted.

Departing from the Mire and, with a new found eagerness in his step, broke into a steady run. The colossal man wanted to build up and gain some strength, pushing his already straining muscles as he moved through the different biomes. Eventually, though, the man slows down to a jog as he navigates through the grove.

That was until he saw quite the crowd gather, and his curiosity piques. Slowly down completely, Markus takes a moment to regain his breath before joining the group in the hunt, eager to push himself further to gain that strength he required.

Really, Orchid was beginning to wonder how often she would be seeing this boy in places. @Virgil was an ever present figure at these things, wherever food appeared so did the wolf prince, usually with some sort of silly shit eating grin. Truth be told, she was intrigued with him, to an extent. His shared mutation was a subject of touchiness for the woman, and subtly she wondered if he would be a half-assed candidate to... Talk to about it, or something.

However, when the lilac woman strolled into the grove where the others were gathering, Orchid would hang around the outskirts of the group and give a yawn, politely covering her muzzle with a delicate paw. There was an awful lack of prey for this many lions to be here.
