It had been only a few days since she had joined Aeistrios and accepted his proposition to be his wife and noble. So far she’d not yet met any of his other wives, nor had she learned much about her new spouse or the land she now resided in. With the chill of autumn beginning to sweep in, she was eager to rise and begin moving, to keep her blood flowing and to hopefully warm her a bit. She moved quickly towards the borders, pivoting once she reached the distinct scent markers to walk along them. The plains were vast and flat, but she didn’t quite know the extent of them yet. That information would certainly be crucial and it was better to learn sooner rather than later. As she walked, she looked around her. Though most of the lands were indeed flat as she had first observed, she quickly noticed the few hills scattered throughout the lands. The territory was within Celosia Fields, so it made sense the land would share some characteristics of the other neighboring lands. +5 Study the landscape of an area (Sleuth) +5 Learn the extent of a pride’s border (Sleuth) +5 Gather poisonous plants (Assassin) |

He caught her scent not too far from him among the plains, and the plum male set off towards her in a casual stride. From his mouth hung a rabbit's leg, his most recent snack he'd been feasting on. Her Abyss pelt was in the distance, her frame small to his eyes as he looked out to her. Then, he chuffed, aiming to arrive by drawing up her back end with a 'accidental' bump to her rump as he strode up to her side, an innocent look in his eyes as he downed the last of his snack. Like the lands?
A casual conversation starter, and the ego in him wanted to hear her say yes- the lands he fought for were beautiful, the lands he had stolen were breathtaking.

She hadn’t been wandering for very long when the sound of Aeistrios’ approach reached her, the sounds of swishing grass a far more subtle, muffled sound than the crunch of leaves and shifting underbrush. She hadn’t been particularly fond of the lack of cover here, but with her size she figured it would be easy enough for her to stalk through the tall grasses unseen, and the lack of other noises that would give her away were another huge benefit to the lands. The plains, it seemed, were growing on her more and more each day. At the feeling of him bumping against her, she let out a soft purr, aiming to lightly flick her tail against his side as he moved to walk alongside her. She glanced towards him as he finished off the rabbit's leg, wondering if one of his other wives had hunted it for him, or if he’d actually gone and hunted himself. He struck her as the type that preferred his meals being delivered to him, and hoped that if the assumption was correct, that another of his women was more willing to tend to those particular needs. Renfri would play her part as a wife well enough, but she was no servant. “I’ll admit I had some reservations about taking up residence in such an open landscape, but the Plains really are lovely.” |

She brings him back from his thoughts, and Aeistrios smirks widely at her approval of it. It was important to him for his wives to like the lands. I'm glad. Happy wives, happy lives.
He muses, mainly to himself more than anything. The taste of his meal lingers on his tongue, and he looks to Renfri with a curious look. You enjoy being free of Leadership?

Renfri hugged the borders as she moved along in her walk, taking note of where the invisible line curved and banked in a new direction. She'd only been walking a short while and could tell already that the land was quite a decent size. Taking her gaze off the land around her, she glanced to Aeistrios, noting the way he looked at her, that hint of something she recognized in his eyes, in that frown on his face, and she nearly bristled at the thought that his mind might be treding down that same path that so many others had. But he smiled then, and she returned the warm expression with a sultry smile of her own. At his happy wives happy lives comment, she lets out a small laugh. A sweet sound so opposite to the nastiness that lives within her. His next question poses another new thought to ponder. How exactly to respond to his question... To lay her intentions bare before him, gain his approval and support now, or play it safe and risk a negative reaction when she's settled in more fully into the lands. "I've never shyed away from the hard work that comes with leadership, but I won't complain about having a break." A hint of future plans, to see how he took it. She would rather keep him on her side when she struck out for what she wanted, but if he liked it or not, no one was going to hold her back. @Aeistrios |

Purple eyes would move to her when she spoke, and something in his words had his head tilting. Break?
He repeats, a break was when you stopped for awhile to nap or eat, and the continue on with what you were supposed to be doing. If she was taking a break… his eyes narrowed slightly, and if she looked close enough she might spot the flick of possession in his expression. You won’t find him.
He snaps grumpily, assuming he was just a break from Rugær, thinking she would be off to find his brother here in a few months.

The possessive flicker in his gaze was noticed, and though Renfri despised the idea that anyone might think they own her, it still stoked that flame within her. The parts of her that wanted to be desired, the parts of her that secretly longed for someone who could handle her ambition and sought to try and leash her. No one would ever hold her back from her goals, but to think someone might try was always a fun challenge. She gave him a reassuring smile in response to his words, moving closer to try and press her chest against him. “Don’t worry, it’s not your brother I seek.” Her voice was low and sultry. “The title of Noble is a generous gift, but as a woman who once ruled in her own right, there day will come that I will want a crown of my own once more. I’d hope to have my husbands support in that.” She didn’t think she’d stand much of a chance of ousting his other wife from her spot, but perhaps she could go after an enemy of their eventually, to expand Saxe influence over the lands. @Aeistrios |

Who desire of power - and not his brother - is a relief.
He also didn't miss the word of husbands being used. Plural, multiple, who else was involved but him? Aeistrios didn't care, but rather wanted to know. Wanted to be the most important, but he didn't have to be the only.
A territory. It makes sense...
Of course it made sense. Reah was already in the position of Queen in his lands, and he couldn't expect Renfri to stay beneath her for long. Not when she had a whole Kingdom. I only ask you tell me where, and when, you look to take a land.
Because he deserved that right, at least in his mind, for providing such a home for her to prepare for that. Now, who else is included in husbands?

She had wondered how @Aeistrios might react to her admission of ambition, her desire for more than what he could offer her. It was a pivotal moment in their relationship, though. Rugaer had met her when she was already crowned, he had no choice but to respect her authority, but the roles were reversed with her and her new husband. Would he be able to respect and support her ambition, or would he feel threatened, try to tamp down her natural instincts to be in charge. His response was a pleasant surprise, how easily he relaxed at her reassurance, and his only request to know when and where before she made her move. A fair enough request that she was happy to oblige. “Of course. I wouldn’t make a move against another pride without my closest allies there to back me up if the residents try to cause trouble.” Not to mention the fact that she hoped such an event with her at the center would end up a big event. The more bloodshed the better. “It is just you, my love.” For now. Renfri was a demanding woman, one who required a level of attention and devotion that Aeistrios couldn’t provide on his own, especially when he had so many other women to tend to. Plus, she would need someone to warm her bed at night when she pursued a crown of her own, though it wouldn’t necessarily have to be another husband. Her mind wandered to Orchid then, and her lamenting over wishing that the women could be the support for one another, rather than either of them having to lean on a man. Perhaps her new kingdom would be ruled by a pair of Queens, instead. |

No one but him in her life, for now he assumed at least. Rugær was in the past - a memory, one he hoped was fading more than anything. Perhaps it was bad to wish that on his sibling, but Aeistrios would refuse to share her with him. And that was saying a lot given he didn’t care who she laid with as long as he was the first. Good.
A simple reply, but it was enough to show her they were on the same page. And for that he was thankful. Come on,
A nod towards the borders- their duties weren’t done yet and he was looking forward to a nap
