She hadn't been here before, this this mountain that swallowed one whole. She felt strange, pale paws carrying her carefully into the cavern, down into the gullet of an unknown beast. And yet, she liked it here. Bats flitted above her occasionally, their tiny shrieks spurring her on in addition to her whispers. Further. the voice said, bringing the lioness to nod her head silently in agreement.

The walls were smooth in some places, worn away into a potential canvas over time. She wondered how well a painting of beautiful crimson would show here, how one could admire it within these caves. She thought of this, as her dainty feet pushed her forward through the tunnels in search of sweet violence.

The Hollow was quiet. And while he might have thought that was a good thing in life, in a new land, it just wasn't what the dog was used to. He easily grew restless, irritated by the slightest things, and could only remain idle in the tunnels of Obsidian for so long before going stir crazy. What sort of king was Vermier if his kingdom was so small? No king the hound had ever met or served before.

In search of actual stimulation, the plum beast lazily meandered through the tunnels, eventually finding his way into the neutral parts of the underground world. While the terrain didn't look all that different, he noticed where the king's scents ended. As a newcomer to Amaryllis, the flop-eared brute didn't know all the names for every little corner of these lands, but he was certain that wherever he was now was no longer ruled by his sovereign. There was freedom to be had here.

Venturing out of his 'home,' though, meant that the mongrel was unfamiliar with this particular patch of the southern mountains that sheltered the Hollow. The space seemed a little more open, though just as winding as his underground abode. His gaze wandered the limestone walls, curious as to how they were formed in the first place. Distracted by a bat flying by, the dog didn't notice another lion until he was just about on top of her. @Lunaire caught him off guard more than he would ever admit to, prompting an instinctive growl forming low in his chest. "Watch where you're going, brat," as if it had been the younger girl's fault that he had nearly walked into her. "What's a kid like you doing out here, anyway?" The hound quickly decided that it was his business to ask such a thing as his large form halted in front of her.

Red eyes curiously followed as a tiny shrieking bat made it's way through the cavern, up and above and- Watch where you're going, brat, the voice snapped her back to focus, gaze looking up to peer instead at the plum lion that had nearly stepped on her. And had the audacity to call her a brat. She was the wife of an heir, a shadow of one of the most beautiful and powerful men. How dare he?

She felt feverish heat rising in her chest, her claws carefully stretching to grind at the stone floor beneath her, the blood rushing in her ears nearly drowning out the lions next words. She stared at him for a few seconds with a deadpan expression before slowly and broken smile cracked across her maw, a single eye twitching subtly. Well, I guess I was just looking' for a little trouble mister. She said, before lunging herself towards the larger male.

Claws outstretched, Lunaire would attempt to latch themselves on each side of his shoulders, fangs aimed to attempt and latch themselves onto his collarbone.

Just as quickly as the man had found himself running into the stranger, the strange girl was throwing herself at him. Claws came rushing for his shoulders, something not easily avoided in such close quarters as he felt the smaller girl's paws pierce the flesh beneath his mane. A snarl erupted from his throat as he felt part of her weight baring down into the point of contact, but now he could already tell how much weight he likely had on her smaller figure. While teeth came searching for his collarbone, the dog threw his head at her, aiming to collide the side of his face with her own and avoid the onslaught of fangs. Meanwhile, he'd throw up his left front limb, claws exposed, while aiming to bash it against her right side. He would target the point right behind her front limb, attempting to sweep his own claws up from under her.

Her claws made purchase, hooking themselves into the flesh of the creatures neck, hanging on through the dense presence of his mane. Her jaws snapped shut on air as simultaneously the smashing of the larger male's cheek against her own jawbone sent shock throughout her face, blood spattering in small drops from her mouth onto the stone floor, the taste of iron sending her into a frenzy.

She giggled, the sound echoing throughout the chamber, the star bracing herself as from the other side claws swiped from the underside of her armpit up her rib, sending lined of crimson running down in their wake. She snarled, the pain invigorating as Lunaire would redirect her jaws, snapping instead at the side of the man's neck where hid throat met his jawbone, attempting to grasp hold and deal damage.

He felt the hard collision of his face against her own. It would likely leave behind bruising on his own cheek and a sore jaw in the morning, but it was worth it to smell the scent of blood in the air, not yet able to see the sputtering on the ground beside him. The sound of giggling, though, fully confused the man. Never had he ever heard an opponent giggle, but then again, nor did he make a habit of fighting females either. Maybe that was normal for them.

The hound was pleased, however, as he felt his claws slice through flesh behind her forelimb. The snarl that escaped the girl only further enticed the man to continue. Once the brute's claws left contact with Lunaire's body, though, he was quick to return that limb to the ground. Posture remained firm beneath her grappling against his shoulders. Then jaws came searching for his neck as well. The hound moved to bunch his hind legs beneath himself, aiming to then shove his shoulder forward, both attempting to bash into her jaws while also trying to compromise her own balance while her claws were embedded in his shoulders. Whatever effect it would have on his opponent, the dog could still not avoid the collision of teeth to neck as Lunaire's fangs found their way just a little further down than intended. Thankfully, his mane aided to protect him just a bit, but her teeth still cut their way into the top layer of skin beneath the russet hair.

The mongrel would then send his own jaws in search of her neck in a similar fashion. Teeth attempt to bite directly into the same side of the speckled woman's neck that she had targeted upon him.

Her skull throbbed, blood seeping it's way into her gaze, though her frenzy already blinding her. The smell and taste of iron enraged and excited her, furthering her wish to spill crimson onto the ground. This encounter, it was beautiful, even as their bodies shifted and her fangs closed around a different portion of his throat than she intended, his own meeting the twin side of her neck. She snarled, her grip on his shoulders loosened from her movement, anger spurring her to release her more pathetic hold on him in an attempt the readjust her jaws into a more painful position, attempting to tear more into the surface flesh of his neck. She just wanted him to bleed, after all.

As he moved forward, he could feel her grip loosening upon his shoulders. Their teeth sunk into one another, both latching into the other's neck. While Lunaire sought to readjust, the dog sought to tighten his grip, seeking to bury his fangs even deeper into whatever flesh he had already gotten a hold of. At the same time, the mongrel shook his head like the rabid dog he was. Unfortunately, though, in his own movements, he managed to leave exposed just the right spot for the starry woman to find purchase again. This time, Luna found a meatier section of flesh, sending a shrill pain up the side of the mutt's neck and blood to freely stream. This was getting ridiculous.

Surely, the dog had lost his touch if a young kid like this was getting away with such damage. Now it was time to end it. The hound reared, bunching his hind legs beneath him while sending both front paws aiming forward in an attempt to grapple upon Lunaire's shoulders. He would attempt to collide his claws against her flesh while also twisting his body in hopes to throw her off balance and onto the ground.

A whirlwind of claws, burning pain and frenzied heat coating every inch of her body, her readjusting jaws getting only a moment to regain it's grasp on the plum man and taste blood once again before her body would slam into the ground, every bit of air expelling from her lungs and leaving her numb, laying stunned on the stone for several moments as she strained to catch her breath.

Slowly, her senses returned, crimson gaze turning upward to look upward at the beastly mutt. She smiled, crooked and bloody, as she staggered to her paws. Wow, I lost that really bad. She giggled, next time, I'll do better. Her words were a promise and yet somehow not a threat. Thanks for the blood! She said cheerily before simply turning around and limping her way back out of the tunnels.
