So this was home? Drena hadn't wasted any time in making her way towards the Mire after her little tango with @Luther ♔ and despite the fact that her body was begging her to rest she still forged onward. Her head was pounding, neck aching where his claws had sliced into her. A beautiful dark purple bruise had already blossomed beneath her shoulder where they had made contact with one another. Just more scars to add to the laundry list that already existed. Stepping across the borders she would survey her surroundings. It was dark and the fog that surrounded the Mire crept in. Her nose scrunches slightly at the smell, what was that anyways? Mud? Or goo? She wasn't quite sure, but she supposed the place would do. If the rumors were true she had just landed herself a place in Amaryllis' biggest pride. A deep chuff would reverberate from her lips as she summoned the toddler that she had decided to humor. "Alright boy come out from your hiding place. Your head still pounding from earlier?" She muses as she pulls to a halt. Maybe if you weren't so hard-headed you would have realized you hurt yourself doing that little trick earlier. "Hurt? I'm hardly feeling it." She scoffs quietly at the voice, ears flattening all the while out of distaste. If they were going to make it here the last thing she needed was to be reprimanded, sheesh.

The cruel princeling had come back home with a pounding skull and a couple of aching wounds, blood occasionally still pouring from them, but his ego was not bruised in the slightest. He liked to think it was never his fault when he lost, and today was not any different. Besides, was it really a loss when he'd achieved what he'd sought to do and brought @Drena to the Mire? Hopefully she will put her fighting skills to good use - Ecrosia needed more capable adults.

His dirtied pelt was now back to its pristine greyed glory after a quick wash, and he was making his way back to his den, when the voice of the dark-furred woman called out to him. Speak of the devil, he mused, but decided to ignore it. Except he came face-to-face with her. Turns out, she was closer than he'd anticipated. "How sweet of you to worry about me," he spoke as he drew in, his voice a fake genuinity. "I thought you had no need of me, but here you are, calling for me like a lost lamb. I must say I am deeply flattered. Liked our fight that much?" a brow quirked atop his forehead.

The sound of his voice was nauseating, the fact that he thought she liked their fight because of him was delusional. "You mistake my fondness for bloodshed as fondness for the likes of you." Drena sneers as she takes in @Luther ♔'s appearance. Well he wasn't covered in his own vomit anymore, that was a start. "So this is your shithole then? Or should I say our shithole?" She muses before sending another glance around them. It certainly wasn't paradise but Drena didn't need luxury. "How many women do you hold prisoner in this playpen anyways?" Straightforward, she didn't have any reason not to be. And she knew all about his kind of man, all about what they could obtain. It was blaringly obvious.

Her grating voice and bearish appearance birthed the infuriating need to dig his teeth into her pelt. Instead, however, he clenched his jaw and maintained his smug expression. The usual perfectly crafted mask that he wore around Ecrosia all the time. "You wound me so, @Drena." he feigned a sorrowful lift of his brows. The bruises of their fight ached beneath his taut alabaster fur.

When she spoke of the Mire so fondly, his snake-like eyes narrowed in on her. "Careful, or it can become your permanent prison cell." He warned with a casual tone, but everybody that knew Luther privately could testify that he wasn't joking. Wither & Lyle had been his first prisoners, but they would not be his last. "How many women do you hold prisoner in this playpen anyways?" "Only those that deserve to be imprisoned," he smirked at her. "I'm certain you'll be an upstanding citizen and not make foolish decisions." Another warning. "We award those that pull their weight and punish those that do not." Such was the way of the world. Well, unless you were Luther. Laws don't count for him.

She sneered in response, she wasn't one to take threats lightly and if @Luther ♔ said something she wanted him to mean it. "Don't threaten me with a good time." She snaps back, eyes burning embers as she locks onto him. We award those that pull their weight and punish those that do not. Ah so that was how things worked around here, typical. "And what do you want from me then, boy?" She questions, moving closer to him so that they were only a breath or two apart. Her wounds were still fresh, blood still rolling down her fur. But she didn't mind adding more to her collection, if only to throw him around some more. "I hope you realize that you do not startle me. And anything that you could think to use as punishment would only fall upon deaf ears." She informs him cooly before continuing, "So either we work together or against each other. It's your decision pet." She says precisely, a coy smile making it's way onto her features. Perhaps she should have heeded his warning, but Drena always loved dancing with an open flame. She would rather pour gasoline over this entire situation and amplify it instead of cowering in a corner. If Luther thought he found himself a docile woman, he was sorely mistaken.

Her retort was an attempt to sound tough in his eyes, but he played along neverhteless. "Oh? Is that what you're into?" his boyish smugness shot her a pointed look, one brow rising almost up to his scalp. Ina ll truth, the cruel Heir would not be surprised to find that the bearish woman enjoyed playing rough. She was just that type.

Ecrosia was not for the weak, although Alaric was adamant on protecting them from time to time. It was a strange thing, and Luther often thought that his father lost his edge since... that woman's death. While rules may not apply to Luther, at least not in his eyes, he did pull his weight. It was not the conventional type of pulling your weight, but one could say he was number one at recruiting around here. "As I said," he watches her from closer now, his tone sharp and displeased with having to repeat himself. "Serve Ecrosia and you shall be awarded. Simple enough, no?" He did not expect her to serve him, although he was not against the idea. However, she was untamed yet, and he knew that expecting servitude from this woman would only bring him headaches.

He'd thought that his words would be enough to shut her up. Perhaps she would finally settle like all other normal lions, but she was adamant on being crude and disrespectful. His cold serpentine blood began to boil, face twisting in fury at every venomous word she spat at him. Dark lip peeled to reveal his fangs. "I suggest you shut up, lest I make good on my promises, wench." his gaze was razor-sharp, boring daggers into Drena.

"So either we work together or against each other. It's your decision pet."

That was the last straw. He was sick of her non-compliance. If she doesn't understand words like an intelligent being, then he will drill it in her thick head with brute force.

The buzzing in his skull had thankfully subdued, although he still had a few minor wounds that bled here and there. Thankfully they were nothing big, so he had no qualms about digging into Drena again.

They were dangerously close, and so Luther's jaws snapped open, teeth attempting to sink anywhere on the woman's face. Simultaneously, his left paw reached upward to try and dig his talons into the side of her nape, where he'd already created a few wounds previously. His throat errupted in a furious snarl, marking the beginning of her punishment.

I suggest you shut up, lest I make good on my promises, wench. Her lips curl back into a sneer, perhaps poking the bear hadn't been the best idea but Drena enjoyed adding fuel to the fire. It was evident that she could get under Luther's skin, and she'd continue to do so. The snarl that erupts from the man is met with one of her own as his jaws snap. Drena just barely manages to lean away from him, though it is not enough. She feels his teeth slicing against her jawline, the skin stinging immediately from the laceration as blood begins to pool to the surface. His claws land upon their intended target, digging into the sensitive skin along her neck that had already been previously wounded. A sharp exhale is given, but that was all she would give him, she didn't want him to have any satisfaction in knowing he'd hurt her. Lashing out Drena would attempt to snap at Luther's face in hopes of gaining more traction. Her left forepaw would reach outward as she attempted to shove him backward, away. As much as she liked close quarters they wouldn't help her here.

His teeth met her flesh, splitting it open. It was hardly enough – he wanted to sink his teeth into her throat and feel the thin, precious vein of life pulsate against his incisors. She vexed him more than any other woman, her unwomanly and disobedient attitude only throwing more fuel to the proverbial fire. His claws met their mark, digging into old wounds. He feels his own injuries reopen as if they ever had the chance to heal.

His jaws redirect, head lowering slightly, his teeth attempting to grab onto her oncoming left limb. Specifically, his jaws attempt to wrap around her armpit, close to her chest, trying to dig deep & tear muscle apart. As a result, her teeth left shallow, but long, marks across his forehead that oozed red. Her paw shoved into his shoulder, claw marks left in its wake. He was seeing red, now, and no amount of pain would stop him.

She should have been afraid, should have been utterly terrified of the sheer brutality and visciousness of @Luther ♔, but she wasn't. In fact she was hungry, greedy for more. She wanted his anger, she wanted his fury, and she would have it whether he wanted to give it or not. His claws and teeth shred into the sensitive skin of her inner armpit, blood immediately gushing from the open lacerations and streaming down her leg. Drena tried to ignore the fact that his teeth were so close to her chest, tried to ignore his hot breath on her skin that immediately caused a hunger within her to rise up, more. Gnashing teeth snap at his forehead, hoping to clip the skin further, give him a wound that he would have to look at every time he saw himself. Look at and remember what she had caused. Her right forepaw swings upward simultaneously, attempting to slam him underneath the chin to loosen his grip on her armpit. Give me more she wanted to shout at him, she wanted all of him. All of his anger, all of his fury. And so much more.

His anger and fury were freely given more often than not, although Luther was more or less amiable if the opposing party wasn’t trying to play stupid games. When they did, however… they shall win stupid prizes.

And oh, he planned on etching his mark into Drena’s coat once more. To give her what she so desired. His teeth itched for the feel of her flesh between, for her pained cries.

This itch was beginning to grow toward other areas too.

I’ll make you bow. Beneath me.

The satisfaction brought by his teeth sinking into the soft skin of her inner armpit brought a rumble of a feral growl to escape his throat. Luther attempted to maintain that grip, jaws trying to constrict around the limb, to gnash bone & tear the foe apart. He felt teeth clip his forehead, blood immediately streaming down his face as the flesh split open. He feels a paw slam into his chin, for a split second loosening his grip. A bruise was certain to form there tomorrow, one that will remind him of her every time he spoke. In retaliation, the large man attempted to push against her, trying to overbear her with his weight and push her down, to the damp swamp floor.

Perhaps, if he could, Luther would like to keep her there. To feel her soft underside against his right before he tears her apart.
