Finally! Angelo could have cheered when he heard Alex's call go out for a pride. He was sick of living in the Oasis and getting sand all in his mane repeatedly. He was convinced he was never going to fully be rid of it.

Of course, when he got to the Hollow and saw how dark and... underground it was he didn't know how much he liked this either. Was he even going to fit in that tunnel? If he got stuck somewhere and died in the dark like a mole he was going to haunt Alexander for the rest of time.

Kick their ass, he said as he joined the little family gathering going on. Maybe he'd get a better reaction to his presence at this one than he had the last. Show them what it means to go against a Savante.

Things were changing quite fast, fights breaking all around. Challenges erupting like wildfire, more common than anything else. Scarry yet heavy in important information. The information she needed to collect, for her own and that of those she was loyal to sake. And as such she was okay with infiltrating within this pride, doing her best to explore it. Of course, she had washed her scent out and covered herself in dark mud. To hide her usually outstanding white hair.

She used the shadows the large stalactites produced to hide. This place had many places to use for hiding and she wanted to use them. Like that slippered in the space between stones and high rocks. Using it as a platform to hide yet to be able to observe from there.

Familiar sounds of family is what drew her closer and closer to the unknown landscape. The uncharted territory of a nameless location. Her eyes darted to the missing family members that she had not seen in many moons, wanting to hang with them but then the feeling in the air, the electricity caused her to stop mid stride and look around. What was going on here? Ears slowly pulled forward frothing and disturbing the hairs around her head as they stood to attention. Gems dangled around her throat and collar before swaying to a gentle lull against her body. 'what have ourselves gotten into?' she wondered. Her mind seeking all those that were visible, she dare no hide herself here, no she wanted to watch from the open air. So upon finding @Anthonius's form she would move to his far far left and perch herself on a stone away from flying claws and dipping fangs. She didn't wanna be that close but close enough to see what was going on. She slowly sits, eyes wide like an owls as she gawked, literally, with lips closed at the man to the forefront. Silence rang heavily, causing a sting to echo into her drums. She could feel the air becoming alive again with the same electricity she felt minutes ago. Something good was going to happen here today and she was going to bare witness to it.

Beast stirs. His scent haunts the tunnels, smeared around their entrances like blood over a doorstep. Avenging angel, do not enter here. But the cannibal prefers the open space that the Hollows claims above ground. There is poetry in the sky, day or night, and rich air from other lands and the sea. The sunken tunnels do not draw his love, but possession makes one love things and the threat of losing them makes one love them very much. He snarled at the sound of the call and further bristled, though silent, smelling so many intruders on his land. His miasma dark toes advanced quietly, his heart pounding. He saw the larger beast, the one who must have called, standing ready, and others surrounding him in what appeared to Vermier to be worship. This was wrong! "Aayyy ayy ay, bird shit fur!" he jeered from a distance, mocking. The lion was patched like Miroslav and smelled like the Oasis. This may or may not be significant depending on how the ~~chaos whirl~~ resolved. "Dieudonné rule here! Serve or run!" This was not actually a choice; and if it was, there was little time to make it, since Vermier's charging frame and jowls followed before his threat could echo twice.

He attempted to slam into the front of the male, extending both front paws in greedy and reckless reach attempting to weigh their daggers into the red one's upper arms. His fangs slavered within a joyous grin, sparkling in half light, but more like champagne than red wine so far - to remedy, he attempted to drive them deep into the male's left cheek, using whatever momentum he had garnered to try to bust the flesh open. Pop the cork, smash the bottle, go to town.

The fresh scent of impala was what was on Lucien's mind. He had found a small herd of them while travelin' from the outskirts of stygian where course sand tapered off into short grass, the smell of them tantalizin' enough to make him decide to watch how they moved and where they moved toward to graze and relax. He would stalk them nearby the Hollows, and when an abrupt call echoed in the air, the herd would become rigid and alert before sprintin' off toward hopeful safety.

A snort would be pushed out from flared nostrils, a little annoyed that he had just lost his meal, but Lucien would make the best out of the sour situation. Movin' slowly toward where the sound had come from would lead him to the pride's borders. Hesitant, the dun man would peer into the territory while stayin' on the other side of the imaginary line that separated neutral and pride territory. But as he sniffed the air would he catch scent of other lions that had pushed through, and that was enough to make him cross and pad forward. He wouldn't stop until he came across the small gatherin' just as soon as a brown furred lion sprang toward a red and white one. Lucien assumed the latter was the one that challenged and the one that was attackin' was the current ruler here.

While Amara wasn't pleased with him taking the Hollows and splitting up the base for the family but he had it and someone calling for it bristled her even more. She didn't know the voice and arrived to find the scent of the Oasis strong and all around her. What was going on? The High Sovereign looked around and moved to @Lycaonia's side. Why was she the only one here? Amara let out a call for Wolfbron to come and support their former member and for the family to come watch him. Win or lose they should support each other. If she was here, they should be too. She watched carefully to see if some of those here were to do more than watch. She didnt know the male that Verm was attacking and she couldn't tell if the Oasis scent was coming from him as well or just those gathered. OOC: Double exp for all until 2/03!

Even as he moved away from the spot on the border where he'd seen the poisonous plant, Darcia kept the general location in mind; nestled in a patch of earth by a stalagmite that grew slightly lopsided. Should he require its bite in the future, he knew where to look.

It didn't take long for more to arrive, many of them smelling of the same dry, arid signature as the first trespasser. Followers, supporters...family, whatever they were, they all but rallied behind the snow splashed man. It tickled something increasingly bitter in the back of the prince's mind, but he stowed it quickly.

He was here to observe, to see Amaryllis's bloodstained politics play out like he had before what felt like a dozen times but couldn't be much more than a pawful.

And there it was, the first blows between a pair of men grappling for a crown.

She'd been summoned. Well, not precisely. Precisely, the whole pride had been summoned, but it was close enough. Truth was, though, she wasn't big on the whole "showing her face to a large group" thing, and as with previous challenges she crept into the area, carefully avoiding the large groups and settling herself in a position where she could see clearly the battle that was going on but not so easily be seen herself. Someone would have to come hunting for her. And if Amara wanted to make some comment about it later then she could, and Arcania would remind her that she'd said she was an assassin when she and Icefang had first joined the pride.

A smile of comfort sent to his mate @Pyracantha they arrived and Tripfire moved towards @Amara with a nod of his head. A thin line forming a frown on his maw he asked his aunt, "**Are we fighting today?" he looked to her then around them cautiously, he trusted Beñat to take his siblings somewhere safe while they fought. Maybe Pyracantha could join the fray? He wouldn't force her of course! "talk"

Yes! Excitement coursed through him while he did laps around his fathers legs until he had enough and put him on his back. Whatever, worked for him! He gave an excited yell while clambering over his fathers head, "Yeah! Gonna see a fight! fight! fight!" he chanted loudly until Tripfire made him climb off. When he did, he sent his father a reproachful scowl, then attempted to smack his nose when it pushed into his rear. Oh, wait, there was Auntie Amara!! Grinning, he raced forward, only slowing when he heard his father give a half growl of warning. Mars would wait for the family to catch up and moved to sit between his fathers front legs, looking at @Amara he grinned with a fiery look in his purple eyes, "**Bonjour Auntie Amara, we get to watch!" he said with a perfect French tone, then turned his attention to the fight he had been told what Vermier looked like and that he was a relation, so they were here to offer support.
