He had lost, but he had yet to fall. His red jewels watched the woman as she paraded through the crowd, claiming that her gods had denied him. No, this was a lesson he saw in this. Her gods were here, true, but it was his that had denied him of his victory. A growl erupting from his jaws as he watched the crowd around him. Battle had ensued. Chaos thrown into the air like a fog. Adeodatus was pleased about it as he felt his feral blood boil.

He stood in the same spot as he had been when Morrigan had left him. Eyes scanning for anyone that would need his help. True he was exhausted but he wouldn't leave those behind that needed him. His jewels landed on Tanaz in her fight, and scanned for Gabrielle but couldn't see her and worry set in. It was then he moved and began to search for his wife. All the while keeping an eye out for any who needed his help.

Adeo is open to another fight.

As the main fight ended, the queen of ice called out to them. Who else wanted to be a king? And Valaine erupted in a frenzied laughter amidst the group. She had been looking to paint the ground with blood today - who knew she'd get the opportunity to paint it with queen's blood?

She pushed her way through the crowd and approached Morrigan with a deadly grin and a bravado that reeked of Rike. "How about ein queen, Sympathisanten-Abschaum?" she growled, but she didn't really wait for the woman to answer her.

Valaine leapt for the female - feeling the adrenaline and purpose running hot in her veins - she threw herself at Morrigan. Bodies would likely clash first, unless Morrigan was that much faster than her, but then... then Valaine would attempt a well-intended bite for the female's throat.

It had taken some time for the colossal to amass the amount of items he would need to care for injuries. He collected most of what would be important for patching up members enough to get them home. His approach told him there was war at the pit. A mass of bloodied bodies from various prides and he could tell @Morrigan would remain the Queen of the summit. The beast let out a chuff to answer the Greyflood’s to let her know he had arrived. He sought out @Talisa to secure a spot in order to be open to care for members who came to him for it or defend Tali should the need arise.

He arrived on the tendrils of the erupted chaos. Panting from his hurried pace, his obsidian gaze scanned the flurry of battle to find an open hide. He knew @Cassandra was here somewhere but it was the familiar grey hide of a mire lion that had his attention. He remembered it from the dark. It was evident the Mire was an issue here and it would be the Mire he would be sinking teeth and claws into.

Myrkvi barreled toward @Adeodatus - weaving between fights to attempt to throw himself at the grey lion’s right side. His jaws opened to try to dig into the flesh of the shoulder where his top teeth could try to sink into the space behind the blade. His left forelimb rose to try to gain a grip on Adeo’s back near the middle while the rest of him balanced on the three remaining legs. His ears flattened against his skull and he was ready to taste blood.

you can take my heart, you can take my breath The male moves to his feet, but he isn't fast enough to stop her. Revna's legs end up wrapped around his neck, her claws digging into his mane and just barely pricking at the skin underneath. But her grip is not necessarily to damage so much as to take hold and give herself leverage. She flexes her claws as much as she can, tensing her front legs in an attempt to press down a little more against his mane and get better access to the skin beneath. He is fast enough to duck his head as she goes for his face, giving her access to his forehead, which is less than desirable. The flesh there tears as she punctures it, but the bone beneath the skin prevents her from getting a grip or doing any real damage. However, head wounds tended to bleed more than others. She hopes that the blood may run freely and even get in his eyes to hinder his ability to fight. He actually takes the time to bother speaking to her, but Revna is not foolish enough to give him an answer. She has no breath to waste, and she isn't about to give away her real thoughts on just what the bastard is. For now, enough that he is clearly friends with someone who smells so heavily of swamp - though that male has now run off for his own fight - which makes him friends with the enemy. Her only answer to his words is a rumbling growl deep in her throat. He pushes forward into her, his right paw attempting to sweep her left ankle out from underneath her. But his push causes her to slide backward just slightly before she tenses her hind legs to stop the movement, and his claws slash through the skin on her leg instead of knocking the entire limb askew. Still, she feels her balance waver for just a moment. It is her grip on his head and neck that allows her to stay upright for the time being. While she is still recovering his teeth seek out her flesh and find it where her neck and chest meet. He sinks into the flesh there, gaining a hold on the taunt skin despite his restricted movement from her own grip. Revna does not waver. Instead, her eyes latch onto his left ear and she strains her own head forward, attempting to grab ahold of it with her teeth. Is it the most vital organ to go for? No, but it can certainly cause a significant amount of pain if she does manage to grab it. One after another, battles began to break out within the crater beneath her. She stared down intently, watching the chaos of all the little lions below her. It was satisfying to watch hell unleash upon the group below her. It had all turned into a bloody war now. Reah couldn’t help but keep her eyes locked on the dark lioness and the gray lion. Their battle just seemed all too significant, and both opponents were bathed in blood.

Morrigan ripped at the lion’s cheek, her wounds also profusely bled. Yet the lioness seemed to reign victorious, leaving the brutish storm-colored lion and talking something about gods. Reah wasn’t really too sure, but she sure as hell wasn’t going to go find out. Even if she wished to, it seemed another lioness had pounced upon Morrigan. Reah’s eyes narrowed and she got up from her feet. She realized that no one was safe, and there truly were no laws here. She caught a glimpse of plum-purple fur, and immediately she stalked forth. She approached @Aeistrios, moving close and bringing her muzzle to his ear so that he could hear her voice clearly. It is not safe here, we should go, she said. She wasn’t afraid, but what was the point in fighting in a war that held no connections to the two?

Her paw hit lower than intended as the confrontational Brooker jerked her head away. Toblerone kept her ears back and her narrowed yellow eyes gleamed with righteous fury, all the more inflamed for being impotent. Bitch didn't want to be slapped but sure wanted to talk game, huh? "Oooh bitch stay still and let me slap me!" in the confusion, the physical fray mostly unknown to her, she fumbled her words but her intent was clear. Her failed paw dropped and its twin lifted, trying to slap the dark brown lioness across the other cheek and better, claws readied out to attempt to gorge. She remembered the claws she had seen digging into her chest just a moment ago and remembered she had to be like that, she had to be knives out and no remorse. (Which she was, usually, only emotionally.)

Faster than she could comprehend, claws slashed along the right side of her neck. Toblerone felt like molasses. Like her size was a burden, stone too thick to move, and her opposition only managing to come in the form of a helpless growl. Her tail quivered under her stomach, hindquarters braced but shaking and defensive. She felt like she didn't want to lose this much blood. Was that blood, the dampness on the side of her neck, or was it sweat? She didn't want to bleed. She wanted to be smart, and beautiful, and never bleed unless she wanted to. That vision of herself was out of reach.

Laveau had followed Gauthier, not too closely though, and she'd split off from him early on, the lioness had found a nice rock to lounge on and watch as chaos unfolded through the entire challenge. Her old pridemates from Ecrosia we're locked in battle, she was glad she's left when she had the chance.

Lilac eyes watched everything as it came to an end, watching as the mountain woman came out on top, but still, fights kept popping up. She wished she were with War at this moment, curled into his chest, away from the stress and life she had been born into. A sigh escaped her as she tried to stay out of the view, just in case a lion decided she was looking like an enemy.

Some drama was going down in the pit and it would seem to call for a small field trip of a couple of lions from Caladan Cove. Following slowly behind those that'd make the trip, Poltergeist thought about what they'd find when they got there. @Laveau was up ahead somewhere - he felt no particular need to escort his wife there. He would probably learn more arriving alone anyhow. What he did know about the situation was that a Mire lion grew a pair and challenged for the Summit... and being who they are, a war broke out between the two prides. Something about warring families? He wasn't quite sure the history, but he was excited to be able to watch it all go down.

The loose group of Caladians broke apart as they arrived - bodies throwing themselves at each other from all angles. Poltergeist stood on the outskirts of the pit, looking up to find his way to higher ground so he could watch and not join. Finding a black foot speckled with weird shapes of white, Poltergeist spied his wife and sought to join her. Without haste, he ducked from the central group and began climbing the rocky outcroppings around them until he sat beside her, panting a little from the exertion.

"How long have you been here?" he asked her, though he did not look at her. His eyes were scanning the fights below -- the Summit queen, decorated in her own blood, was engaged in another fight already as was another bloody male. He assumed that was the guy that challenged her, but he couldn't know for sure. "What have you observed?" he asked again, still not turning to look at her.

He found Gauthier among the chaos, talking to another red-furred lioness. He couldn't hear what they spoke about in all the raging noise, but he noted that their body language was relaxed - mostly. The female looked a bit... stressed. Multicolored eyes scanned the surrounding rocks once more... hoping to find @Recluse amongst them. He hadn't said he was going, but a sibling might be hopeful.

Though she hadn't seen her husband arrive, she assumed he would at some point, her foot dangled over the edge, and she concluded that was what gave her away to her husband. She didn't even give him a glance as he sat beside her, though she could hear his panting from a mile away, the lioness smirked, "Getting out of shape and lazy are we?" She teased him, eyes still roaming the battles below.

"I arrived a little bit after Gauthier arrived, maybe midway through the battle. Morrigan won. That, " She pointed to Adeodatus, an old pride Nate she had never gotten the chance to me, "was her opponent, Adeodatus." She stated, finally looked over to him, before then deciding to help give him information, "the maroon lioness fighting that large male, is Astarte, Gauthier's sister. We were pridemates when I was in Ecrosia."

"The summit leader, Morrigan stated before entering battle, if she fell, her lions would rage war, and the Mire, they took that personally."
