At first, Bordeaux would only observe the others with interest, not entirely sure what it was they were searching for within those pieces of wood. Small trinkets perhaps, or useful herbs? She wished there was food to be had, as hunger gripped her fervently today.

After awhile she would join in, welcoming the distraction and the potential for items she could potentially use in some form or another. A rather large discarded log was set away from the rest, which she would occupy. She assumed she could work her way along it, beginning at one end of it, sniffing and prying with her claws.

Score! Excitement coursed through him as the log cracked open and inside he could find some furs and some gems. He wasn’t sure what he would use them for, but he hastily nudged the gem stones into the pelt- was that rabbit? Ermine?- nostrils would flare agains the soft fur, inhaling the scent. It was Ermine. Even better. Jaws clenched on the makeshift pouch, smirking as he looked around to find another log to crack open. If he found much more, he would need a different way to carry it all though.

Around him others were finding their own treasures and some part of him was happy for them- a very small part. The rest of him was a bit jealous and caused him to move to the next log with a bit more haste. Pouncing on this one with a bit more zeal than he had the first, his jaws tightly closed on the pelt to keep his goodies from falling out.

She's not stalking @Ölvir per se, but Faizah wasn't exactly not stalking him either. Casually, she keeps him in the periphery of her vision, pretending as if she were doing her own thing but intrigued by her saviour. Besides, she felt safe being close to where he was. He searches through some inconspicuous looking logs and the Ven'detta yearling, intrigued by his searches, decides that it may be worth doing the same. Finding a secluded pocket of space, the striped figurine finds one of her own, waiting with bated breath as she pries it open with unsheathed claws.

when she turned the corner she was greeted by a beautiful face. it wasn't often that oizys got flustered, but let it be known she had a particular soft spot for women dressed in grey. the smile she gave her was soft at the corners. almost like, for once in her life, she could be nice to someone without expecting anything in return. "you should keep them. pretty things for a pretty girl." she gave a wink before turning her attention to searching for another log, and perhaps even a bystander to confiscate from.

With that the golden male went about his own way and she wondered how far his compliment goes. Some men simply did it to boost their own ego while others truly meant it down to their core. Perhaps even so far as to court, but she didn't know @Bronx personally and thus couldn't begin to know the character behind the compliment. Nevertheless her attention shifted easily to the other gray woman who declined the offer of pretty objects but @Oizys made up for the rejection in much the same way as the male. Of course, she was absolutely over the moon with excitement. Two compliments in one sitting? My oh my, she was a lucky girl! I suppose if there is... anything you like, I might be willing to part with it. The lioness might have declined the trinkets but in her own way, she was offering her own service. Heart pounding almost too excitedly within her chest she attempted to throw another log against the wall and it didn't seem to break. Distractions being what they were she decided to stomp on it this time. Would it yield the same?

Another full log of goodies. This time it would contain fruits. Some were squished under his weight, but not all of them. Ash would grin around the pouch in his mouth, taking a step back so he could put the pouch down and open it back up. He wasn’t too into the acidic fruits, he nosed those away, but the apples and blueberries? He wanted those. The blueberries proved difficult to maneuver, being so small, so after rolling a few into the pouch he would lick up the rest and eat them. A couple peaches and then he was pushing the edges of the swollen pouch together to grasp it together and carry it off.

The loner did his best to steer clear of others, not wanting to be perceived as stealing what wasn’t his, but at the same time it was just so crowded. He would move further from the mouth of the labyrinth, finding another log, he set to cracking it open, the pouch in his mouth swinging a bit wildly. He needed a new way to carry this stuff.

Despite her thorough search, there didn't appear to be anything of value within the section of the log on which she was currently working. She was disappointed, having to use her energy as sparingly as possible. Any spent without anything gained from it was a big loss to her. She would move further up the length of the log then, prepared to try again.

Briefly, she would be distracted by the sweet scent of fruit, looking to a white-faced lion, @Ash, as he devoured them. She would stare at him longingly for a moment, stomach grumbling with envy. She realized she was staring then, hot-faced with a sense of shame and embarrassment. She would return her attention to the task, hopeful nobody had noticed.

Curious endeavors indeed. Deirdre wasn't sure what sort of custom this was but she spyed a lot of lions searching, hunting but not for prey. And while she saw nothing too spectacular about this area, besides its beauty, she began to mirror them and poke around the crevices of the labyrinth. Here there were a lot of nooks and crannies that things might be hidden in she supposed, so was there some merit to looking a bit closer? Gentle melody came as a hum from her lips as she wandered down a path that seems few had taken so far, purposefully averting from the crowd to see what she might find where they did not look.

Empty. Darn. He would have to try again. It was when he was looking around that he would notice someone staring at him. Well she was an interestingly marked lioness…young lioness. Teenager? Ash, would regard her for a minute, thinking that the eye contact would make her look away…he was wrong. Awkwardly he would look down at his empty log before nodding to her, beckoning her closer. He’d move towards her as well, hoping to meet at a log between them, maybe they could break it open together?

Sitting the pouch down, he would heave his weight onto it, seeing how the bark gave, but did not crack. “Want to help? We can split the treasure..if there is any.” He offered, he could be nice…when he wanted to.

What he hadn't expected, was to find his sibling showing up late to the party. The patchy form of his sister would be found in the corner of his eye, head snapping around to follow the figure. "Deirdre!" He hollered, the sound echoing. He grimaced, grinning apologetically.

When Faizah discovers a present within, she can barely contain herself -- long limbs doing a little jig as light laughter escapes parted lips. Now feeling inspired, the Ven'detta yearling continues on her way to find more logs. Still however, she keeps a watchful side eye on @Ölvir, inwardly hoping that he might notice her but doing her best to remain as casual as she could.

Faizah finds a log tucked carefully about a corner and with her heart thudding in her chest, the striped figurine goes at the little gift with her teeth and her claws, excited to see what may be right within her paws.
