It was beginning to gnaw at him, he felt like he was waiting for something that might never be. And since when did he wait for something!? Never. So with a bit of a strut he made his way down to the pit humming a tune, and his tail twitching to the beat in his head. Upon arrival he moved to scratch the ground a bit and get some traction beneath his paws. While he shook his mane out to keep it nice and loose for his upcoming bout. It was time he got off his fat arse and started making a name for himself.

It would seem her dearest brother had led her to a land of giants, where most of the lions towered over her. This was far from ideal for the lioness, she was a small, dainty, delicate little flower but in this land she needed to grow some thorns and maybe even some teeth. Perhaps she just needed to harden her spine a bit more too. She’d heard of this place, the Pit, it was a place for others to practice their skills and hone their bodies into weapons of destruction- oh how the priests would scorn this place if they were here. Blasphemous as it was. Violence was a sin, it had no place in the temple or in their home. Yet…here she was, wandering it with a giddy excitement.

Eventually she would find someone not yet entwined in battle, he seemed ready for a nice fight and he was by her standards the type of giant she needed to learn to fight. The blue lioness would approach with her head held level with her shoulders, tail twitching behind her with nervous excitement. She doubted she was the type of opponent he would be searching for, but she would give him no option but to fight her. Without a word the woman would suddenly surge forward, eating up the last several feet of distance between them. What was her plan? She had none.

The lioness would launch herself up with all four limbs off the ground briefly, forelimbs would swing out in an attempt to bear hug the beasts upper neck. Hind limbs would kick out, in an attempt to kick and rake her hind claws down chest (near where it meets his forelegs). Jaws would be open and waiting, not yet reaching for flesh, using it as a last defense for now.

A flicker of movement caught his green gaze and he turned to face it better. A small lioness of interesting coloration was approaching, he thought they might introduce themselves first. He was wrong. ears folded back in alarm and annyoance when she charged, lips peeling back in a snarl. Bronx moved to meet her head on, that was until she was freakin airborne! "What the f---argh!" he snarled out her claws making contact with his shoulders. In their wake they left moderate lacerations across his flesh which bled treely.he

In response to the closness Bronx was quick in his attempt to seize the side of her neck with his jaws while rotating his body away from her kicking legs. Using his larger form he would press forward to try and keep her down on the ground below him. Left paw swung out and down attempting to leave lacerations along her precious stomach. Now he was just pissed off, he hated rudeness.

There was a moment where she thought she had caught him by surprise with her sudden attack, but it only confused her. Was she supposed to have a lovely chat first? What an odd place her brother had brought her to. It would take time adjusting to these strange customs, that was for sure. She had fought a few times before, but the lions had all been roughly her size, or she had been lucky to have her gargantuan protector at her side. This was different, she was not used to being alone against someone so large.

Suffice to say he was caught off guard by her sudden launch upward, her claws would dig into flesh, raking across his broad shoulders where blood would flow freely. Satisfaction was quick across her façade, but it was short lived as her hind legs met air and then her spine and rump bumped into the cold hard ground. Jaws would grasp at her neck, where neck met shoulder, giving her only a little wiggle room with her one skull to attempt to try and snap at his ears with ready and waiting teeth. How rude, only Acheron was allowed to give her such bites on the neck! He would not be pleased- with her or her adversary. With her rump on the ground, she would twist just in time for his claws to not rake her tender belly, but her rib cage as she tried to half stand awkwardly under him as he pressed his weight into her. A snarl would sound from her jaws as she brought her claws up in another attempt to claw at his face.

Blood ran hot down her neck and shoulder, staining her beautiful blue pelt a purplish red color. It did not suit her at all.

Bronx had zero interest in anything but a fight here, not with someone he had just met. He felt her teeth grip the tip of his ear and growled in pain against her neck. Jaws aiming to close tighter on the flesh before jerking back suddenly. This jerking movement caused a tear in his ear which bled freely. Meanwhile his jaws reopened to change target, he was attempting to seize her wrist within them and attain a hold on it. Left paw felt flesh rip beneath his curled claws and he sneered in pleasure. Sneaks got what they deserved. Again he lifted a paw, this time his right paw. Bronx was attempting to push down on her extended limb where it bent. The goal was to make her uncomfortable as possible to release her hold.

Oh the feeling was mutual, there was no love in this fight. No personal score to settle, it was just two lions that collided in a dance of tooth and claw and what a dance it was. Skorvaga felt another surge of satisfaction as she pierced the tip of his ear with her teeth, it was short lived as he jerked back causing her to snarl in anger and pain. Flesh on her neck would tear at his action, causing blood to run quick and thick down her neck and chest. That pain was to be dealt with later, for now it was but a fly on her shoulder, something to be flicked off and ignored.

His jaws would attempt to catch her wrist and a twist of fate would have him missing her wrist but grabbing her paw. The pressure of his bite would force her claws to flex outward a somewhat involuntary attempt to claw the inside of his mouth. Jaws would snap forward in an attempt to bite into the side of his preoccupied face. Simultaneously his paw would come down on her foreleg, pressing into her uncomfortably and yes- painfully. Limb would tremble, yes, showing she was tiring under the pressure, but she continued to resist.

Blood dripped from his maw while he went for her paw, he had done the damage he had intended upon her neck. Oh shit, she had flexed and instead of her wrist her paw ended in his mouth. Quickly he spat her paw out not wanting those lovely claws to carve up his tongue. However he was not fast enough. While his head pulled back her teeth sunk into his cheek but did not obtain a hold. And as such it slowed his retreat of her paw. One of her claws would hook his lower lip on the left side and it dragged downwards leaving a deep laceration to bleed. And eventually scar. Where her teeth had been left mild wounds in comparasion.

Pain shot through his maw and he let out a snarl of rage and pain. Quickly he moved to lift his other paw up attempting to smack her across the face with it. His claws were sheathed, but the sheer power of a right hook from him could be enough to jostle her or stun her if he connected. Lip was bleeding severely and he was panting hard from the effort of this fight. She had definitely kept him on his toes!

Her claws had done the trick, he spat her paw out rapidly, but not quick enough. She still managed to get a little bit of blood on her claws. Teeth grazed his cheek, leaving only mild marks. It was enough to have him snarling with rage. A paw came up and slapped her squarely across the face, causing her head to turn and the woman to stumble back, hoping to disentangle from the male. The woman would laugh, despite the pain. The lioness would grin, breathing hard from the fight. “Thanks for a good time.” She would tease, taking a step closer slowly so that she could get a better look at the deep laceration she’d left on his lower lip. “Something to remember me by?” She would coo playfully.

Just like that, the blue lioness would turn to leave, there was no reason to stay.

Breathing heavily from exertion he snarled when he managed to succed in slapping her away. It was a warning that he had had enough, blood was dripping from his wounds and he felt dizzy. Emerald eyes narrowed at her while he snorted with sarcasm, "Oh yeah, such a great time you crazy..." he trailed off before he insulted her, he did not wish to start a feud. and briefly a sneer curled on his maw while he called back, "Hey, call me up if you want me to grab that scruff properly next time!" he taunted but shook his head a bit though quickly stopped when it didn't ease his dizziness. Turning he would leave for home, as it was his turn to need some healing.
