Septima could only hope this was proving herself to Leander. There she was taking on an enemy the same way he had, defending the family’s honor. In contrast, she wondered if it meant he would be disappointed if she ended up on the losing end of the battle. The thought of him staring down at her with a look of shame was too much to stomach, so she used it to fuel her forward in the fight. Keep fighting. Keep going.

Her skin shuddered as her opponent’s claws found purchase on their target, creating new rivulets of blood that trailed down her leg and dripped onto the sand. It stung like a motherfucker, too, but it wasn’t enough to make her back off entirely. Septima had some bitch sisters. She knew what pain was. Thanks, bitch sisters.

The Miroslav released Elaine’s throat as she began to thrash again, attempting to retract it and then attempting to snap it upwards quickly to bash the underside of her jaw. Her entire focus was on this attack. Septima knew the headache was going to be miserable afterwards, let alone the bruising, but she wanted the Dieudonne to suffer just as much.

She could feel her claws slip into the skin and rip down the flesh. She could feel the shutter of Septima's body from the attack and pleasure rolled through Elaine. She would always find joy in causing pain. She didn't know any other way to feel. Her hold on the neck remained while she felt the removal of Septima's teeth and blood rushed out through the bite mark. She wasn't totally sure what the lioness was going to try next but a headbutt wasn't what she was ready for. She felt the shock of the hit along her neck and it managed to knock her slightly off balance but she refused to let go. If she was going to fall, she would take Septima down with her. While her paws attempted to shuffle around to get balance back her teeth attempted to remain dug into the lioness's flesh. They attempted to sheer back and forth with her attempt to remove some flesh even greater a desire now.

Septima was growing more tired by the second. She wanted the entire ordeal over with and wanted to go home, but remembering that her home had been taken by one of the Wolfbron mongrels kept her pushing ahead. If she could not be at Elaine, she could not think to take back Andal Oasis. Her only hope was that Leander would come through and take his rightful place as king. How nice it would be to go home..

Septima didn't appreciate being chomped on for so long and knew her skin would give eventually if it wasn't already. She tried to fight through the pain anyway, hissing as the lioness stepped away. "I didn't even do anything to you, bitch!" Septima attempted to swing her paw upwards to slap at Elaine's face, hoping to at least leave some marks as a parting gift.

OOC: Permission from Bluey for PP They fell toward the sands together, her teeth slicing deep into the side of his face leaving behind some nasty marks. Hitting the sand broke their hold on each other and Amara felt that she had done enough damage to make her point, don't attack me. The high sovereign pushed herself away from him before standing up. Her body was covered in bloody sand and her sides heavied heavily. She was unaware for the moment that her other daughter was in a fight for the very lioness that all this started over. Golden gaze snapped between @Aquila and @Cassandra as she tried to catch her breath. What the fuck. She muttered under her breath as she tried to process what was going on and if she needed to label them as an enemy now of is this was yet another misunderstanding.

Yeah, it was definitely time to go. There was a heck of a lot going on, and most important was getting the family out of this place and up to the Summit where they would be safe. Theoretically. More safe than they would be if they stuck around here with a bunch of lions they didn't know. She kinda wasn't looking forward to heading all the way up the mountain, but she guessed it would be a nice change of scenery for a little bit.

So she left the few squabbles that were still going on in favor of following Alizabeth, also helping Ransom should he need it. Between the two of them, she figured he'd be fine.

To some, defeat may taste bitter. To him? As the pain of tissue tearing from his skull struck through his body like lightning, Apollinaire felt ecstatic. Blood streamed down his once-neat hairs (now wild, bending in different directions, disheveled), the wild look in his gaze emphasized by their piercing red. The whites of his eyes were bloodshot, giving the man a demonic look, displaying the otherworldly ghoul that was usually well-hidden behind combed hairs & charming smiles. As Leander spat what was once the french-creature's ear, the thing scrambled to the ground in a hurried fashion, clutching for his disembodied ear with dark paws, bloodied claws reaching to bring the part that is rightfully! his - and nobody, nobody, NOBODY else's - straight to his lips, so he may devour God's flesh like one must do.

Chewing and chewing, he devours it with a loud gulp! His lips contorted at the sides, bloody-red teeth showing in a satisfied grin.

One would think his eyes are unseeing at this moment - for he looks much like in a trance - but the frenchman soon finds himself strolling towards @Amara, who just now disengages from @Aquila, their booming voices making some sense, enough so he could simply say to his Queen: "Le sang d'un ennemi!" "The blood of an enemy!" he spat red between Amara & Aquila, repeating words that the starry-furred Queen had said recently to Arcania and Icefang. "... spill the blood of an enemy." Leander had reached for a crown once, and he had flown too close to the sun. Then he had sought to reach for Dieudonne blood - and he will burn again. "Next zhime - ah! - next you will all burn, oui!" He chuckled as if he'd said the greatest joke, before turning around to leave, the pain spreading from his ear through his whole body. In his delirium, his walk home (or maybe not home?) zig-zagged.

Her enemy, prey, and target was tiring and the slap across her face caused the skin to break open and blood to drip to the ground but it wasn't going to stop Elaine. The words of @Septima wouldn't stop her. Only the removal of flesh would. Elaine attempted to shake her head harder and bite down harder to work through the chunk of meat she had been holding onto. She felt it giving way and started pulling backward, tugging and twisting her grip. Until finally, it gave way and Elaine stumbled backward with her prize between her teeth. A cheeky grin covered her features as she looked at Septima and had little care about who saw as she munched away on it. It was her prize. Once she had finished the meat, she finally spoke. Your family attacks mine so I attack you. It was simple math. She smirks before moving her sore body toward her sister. @Louve was bloodied up as well and together they would tend to each other's wounds. Her focus shifted to her mother and what was going on there, for a moment she thought about speaking out and letting the male know what was going on but decided that Amara would have it handled. She bumped her nose against her sister to see what she wanted to do now.
