None seemed to notice the small figure, even despite the bright colors that adorned her fur. For once she was fine with going unnoticed, as she wished to be undisturbed while attending to this delicate task. If the mushrooms she picked proved of the poisonous variety, she didn't want to accidentally ingest anything while picking them and gathering them in a bundle on a large leaf.

A few other plants, not of the mushroom variety, would also be gathered up. These she was not opposed to sampling though. Be it to touch it to her skin or take a tiny nibble. Most were likely worthless, but the more she brought back, the more her mother could put names to. She would be the one to tell the girl what here was medicinal and what were merely weeds she had gathered needlessly.

With her collection carefully gathered and wrapped up, the girl would make her exit. She would slip away as silently as she had come.

It would all eventually come to a finish, the odd soundin' lion the winner here today. Lucien would not the last name he spoke of - Dieudonné - and place that into memory. It didn't mean anythin' to him as of now but he wondered if it would in the future. Attention would fall back onto his Queen as she made her way back toward him and the other Plains member, givn' her a once over to ensure she was okay even though he knew she didn't get into any fights herself. And with her words about them leavin' would the dun man give a nod in agreement, fallin' in line with Ghyslaine to follow her back to their home.

They can't afford to stay here for much longer, not when Marja's head wound wasn't showing any signs of getting better on its own, and certainly not now that Adrien's noticed that the male @Tobin had warned them about was indeed the one who'd emerged victorious from the settling dust. Would the new King truly try to claim rogues on sight?

"Merci." Maia's agreement and subsequent instructions were received with a grateful nod and a relieved smile. "We'll make sure Marja gets there safely." The swamp witch's injury takes the highest priority, though her gilded gaze flicked across the crowd once more, hoping to catch a glance of Nazonal and their friends, only to be disappointed. Were they all alright? Had they already gotten out safely while Adrien was distracted. 'Please, let them be alright.' "I'll come back to help search as soon as I can." Carefully. The Hollow's new ruler might be dangerous, but she could hardly abandon anyone else who might need help, especially if Naz hadn't returned to the jungle by the time Adrien was able to check.

"Here, Marja. You'll be alright, I promise." She murmured softly, as she used a shoulder to gently try to hoist the darker woman to her feet, gesturing with her chin for Tobin to take the other side. Between the two of them, they should hopefully be able to carry the injured witch to the Rainforest healer without causing any further damage.

Azhira became momentarily distracted by the fight - or rather the winner of it. A man with a strange accent; hard to understand. From what the tigress could gather, not many were a fan of him. No one stayed to join, and when he began to speak, lions began to leave.

When Azhira set her eyes back down, toward the lioness she had been speaking to, she realized that she, too, had disappeared without a word. Azhira looked around, hoping to find her just farther off, but she couldn't see her in the moving bodies around her. "Well, thank ya for the info, darlin'," she murmured, and began moving off with the crowd to exit the territory surrounding the cave pride. /exit

Helah has at some point wandered away from the tigress, though @Azhira 's beauty and differences were noted and appreciated by her- she was more distracted by the loss of Revna to the male from the Wolfbron. She studied the fights ending, and watched as everyone... took a chance to leave, and Helah merely watched for a moment, before she shrugged- before strutting away- not really caring for what came next. It seemed the Bluff's influence was growing further and further- making them a stronger ally, for when it was time for her to take her own crown... and she wondered what Amara would think about that... when she made a move on her own.

the lorien queen is unfazed by her warning – by the threat posed to her precious cargo – and a sigh touches olive’s lips in exaggerated defeat. she spares an irritated glance to the fatty as her hunched posture unfurls, abandoning the baby olives down below to better address the mother. “don’t sound so surprised,” she croons, her teasing further pronounced by the shit-eating grin that quickly claims her features. and however flippant the joke, beneath the surface, she is uncertain as to why ghyslaine’s brood wouldn’t share her name. what’s so wrong about paying homage to a best friend, anyway?

but she upholds the guise, and a dismissive wave of a forepaw relays of her intent to stay as @Ghyslaine departs to mingle elsewhere. but she is not missed for long, and as the battle reveals its champion, ghys returns to whisk she and the other lorien spectator away from the crowd. with a grumble to the impatient beast of a pregnant woman, olive motions to follow back to their great sea of grass.

The man and woman clashed in a ferocious dance, blood trickling down in a puddle against the hard rocky ground of the Hollows. He was enthralled with their reactions, with the pain twisting across their faces whenever one managed to strike the other. Naturally, the older male came out on top, sending the woman back to tend to her wounds. He was a strange one, for his next words were laced in an obnoxious accent that you had to focus really hard to understand. The message came through, of course. He was sending the audience away, claiming this as a Dieudonne pride. So he was of Wolfbron previously? Interesting. Having seen enough, the Prince rose to his feet and walked back home, his mood lifted enough for him to whistle a small tune to himself.

@Morrigan, an easy friend, came to sit beside him and spectate. Thankful and gracious for the extra company and even more thankful that she wasn't one to yammer on and talk whilst they watched. Though as the fight continued to play out he could see that the male was getting in quite a few more hits in while Revna couldn't hold them all off. The Vermedan was getting in her own good shots but it would seem the Dieudonne male was doubling what she was giving. Leaving Revna to fall short and Vermier to stand victorious. Literally.

With the male's exclamation of "get out" he wastes as little time as possible getting to his feet, giving his observer friend a nod before going back home. There was much to do after pride challenges and they always left him feeling even more protective of what he had. Wandering the borders of home with the intent purpose of keeping anyone out that didn't have express permission. Despite the Vermedan's generosity, the list was still quite short. So Gareth pounded the pavement so to speak and kept his senses sharp. Scratching his body against the trees and keeping his nose toward the ground and his eyes watching as best he could for any movement among the trees. No fresh tracks meant little danger but such things could change in a heartbeat. exit gareth
