He finds himself drawn to The Pit more and more often. He's scaling the crater, dislodging pebbles and rocks underneath his paws as he goes. Running upill is far from being one of his favorite activities, but it serves as a decent warmup. He finds himself at the top of the crater, sides heaving with the effort. Ignoring the black spots materializing in his vision, he meanders his way towards the The Pit, idly wondering what he's gonna find there this time. He hears no sounds, but he keeps an eye out as he descends into its shadowy bowels. There's no one in there today, but once he reaches the bottom, his claws unsheathe and he drags them across the stony wall, producing an ear-grating sound that's sure to catch the attention of anyone nearby. Time to fight.

With the cache full and her patrolling duties concluded, Uma finds herself setting out toward The Pit. Lately, she's become something of a regular here, having jumped into several fights with... well, mostly no success at all. It has started her thinking about what Marius told her, and this time, she intends to use his advice to come out on top. This time, she will not let herself be governed by anger. If she wants to win, she has to remember his pointers and keep a clear mind above all else. Drawing slowly closer, an all too familiar scent captures her nostrils. She hears him before she sees him, the harsh scratching sound of claws against rough stone grating her ears as she stops by the crater rim, casting her gaze down to find her brother there. Extending her claws for purchase, she descends into the crater, eyeing him forbiddingly. "Really asking for it, huh?" She supposes he chose the appropriate place, at least, but there's gotta be less ear-grating ways to entice somebody to fight you....

It doesn't take long for him to recognize his tiger-striped sister, glowering as she descends the crater. He's not really looking to fight his twin, but a bit of practice can't hurt. She tends to hit hard and without restraint, but he's not about to lay his reservations on the table. He smiles, sliding his claws down one more time before placing both legs on the ground. He turns to face her. "Who's gonna stop me, thunder thighs?" You? Backlegs coil before he launches himself towards her, trying to ram his chest into hers in an attempt to wind her, before twisting head around to snag a mouthful of her cheek.

"Thought I told you not to call me names anymore." She grunts, still not having forgotten how he introduced her to Violarum as forest hog. Her face breaks with a touch of anger-- she can't help it. Her brother is such an annoying asshole, and Uma just wants to swat him like a fly. Recognizing the fury welling in her chest, she pulls in a steadying breath, remembering Marius' pointers. He's detonating toward her-- good. Her eyes narrow into a glare, ears drawing back. She tucks her chin to her chest, her front lowering a trifle to the ground.

He crashes into her chest, expelling a grunt of anger from Uma. Stubbornly she keeps her head low, her cheek flaring painfully as Ambrose clamps down on the sensitive flesh there. She represses a snarl, jerking downward as she seeks to pull away at the cost of breaking skin. Just as quickly she jerks her head back up again, intending to headbutt his chin with all the force she can muster and send him reeling, just as a certain little white lioness had done unto her.

They connect with vigor, and the impact rattles Ambrose as he expels a shuddering breath. She's not exactly small compared to him, so he's not surprised he didn't succeed in knocking her backwards. Still, his jaws find purchase around her cheek, but before he can do much else, she's already ripped her face out of his grasp. His face contorts into an incipient snarl, but Uma's head comes crashing towards his chin. An immediate, agonizing pain courses unpleasantly through the entire length of his body, and spots appear briefly in his vision as he staggers backwards. But he has little time to recover; he swipes an unsheathed claw directly at the side of her face, daring her to close the distance between them.

Blood courses down her cheek, but it's been worth it: she's successfully sent her brother staggering backwards... all that's left for her to do now is to finish him off.

Muscles tense up in preparation as she makes ready for a spring, surging after him. Too greedy-- she vaults right into his lashing paw, her head twisting violently sideways under the impact as the slap connects. Again anger threatens to overtake her, but she focuses on her next move instead. Her head still forcibly turned away, she blindly seeks to jut her paws into his chest and push him groundward, hoping to gain the advantage while he's still dazed.

He knows she's going to try to push her advantage, and he doesn't have to wait long before she does. His claw rakes across her face successfully, but it's not enough to stop her advance. Her paws connect with his chest and he braces his hind legs as he's shoved backwards, staggering for a moment and finally losing his balance. Before he falls, however, he clasps his forelegs around her neck in an attempt to drag her down with him, twisting his body in an attempt to squish her beneath him. Regardless of whether he succeeds or not, he sprawls out on the floor in a cloud of dust, the impact knocking the wind out of his lungs for the second time since they began.

As he secures a hold around her neck, her tail whips out behind her, frantically attempting to retain her equilibrium. But her speed is too great: with one twist of his body, she's dragged inevitably downward alongside him. She comes down hard, alarm rising in her chest, her momentum an unintended aid in allowing Ambrose to squish her underneath his weight.

A snarl erupting from behind flashing teeth, she lays her ears so far back against her head they nearly disappear from view. Head jerking furiously sideways for better access, she brings up her paw, attempting to lash out toward his chin with claws extended. Not only has she landed a hit there before, but with the muzzle being sensitive to pain, she hopes she can get him to back off and grant her a window of opportunity to regain her paws. Intending to put the pressure on him, she simultaneously tries to kick out her hind legs, seeking to push him away and rend flesh.

He succesfully drags her down with him, and he ends up falling right ontop of her. Satisfying. As a big cat who's used to getting her way by shoving her weight around, he's rather pleased that her girth failed to tip the brawl in her favor this time around. He returns her snarl with a hiss, lips peeling back to reveal a set of teeth. Suddenly her paw rears up and finds purchase on his chin, and with the area already bruised there, a sharp flash of pain chastises him again. He rears up and tries to turn his body away from her, sauntering away from her with an irritable lash of his tail. "Alright, alright. Go easy on me." He's backing off, lest he risk more serious injury. The image of his big sister flopping on the ground is a welcome one, and one he's gonna commit to memory. Sadly, however, her girth carried the day once again. "God, you have no sense of humor. Misery guts." He ascends the crater to lick his wounds, preferably somewhere far away from his stupid fat sister.
