Her silent wishes unheeded, as @Marja gives the precise answer that Adrien had been half-afraid to hear. The swamp witch had been following her, apparently. Oh dear. Should she be concerned about the other woman's apparent fascination with her?

It'd probably be fine.

"Does...that make it better?" She asks, when Marja remarks that her swamp is also beginning to thaw out, with the usual amount of odd delight that always accompanies her when she speaks about the muddy place. Sounds like the melting snow would just make her home more wet, if you asked Adrien. Then again, that was probably what Marja wanted. Interesting tastes, that one.

She chuckles lightly at @Vitae's words, smiling at his playfulness. "Now, now. It offers you a unique charm." There's nothing necessarily wrong with a rough voice, she thinks, even if Adrien had never heard the previous iteration of his vocals to compare it to. Some might even prefer it this way, aside from the clear marks of damage. "I just hope it doesn't pain you." She adds, a touch of concern surfacing in her own voice and expression.

But she cannot linger on the subject for long, as Marja suddenly marches up to the lilac man in a way that is...familiar. Unfortunately. "Oh, Marja, wait -" Too late. The vivacious sniffer has struck again. Adrien would follow with quick steps, shooting Vitae an apologetic smile in the hopes to allay any negative (or potentially violent) reaction he might have. Gently, the maned woman would try to guide her...friend(?) away with her shoulder "Ah, Marja, remember that thing I said before? About personal space?" She would murmur into the dark woman's ear pointedly.

Tobin made his departure then, and would Adrien smile and nod her farewells to him before turning back to Marja. "Why don't we explore this place a bit more, hmm? We can try marking out some paths so that we won't get lost if we come back later." She's unlikely to unstick the other woman from her at this point, so she might as well accept the inevitable for now and let her tag along. And hopefully it would keep Marja out of trouble for a little while, she thought, flashing another sheepish look towards the remaining male. "I wish you safe travels, Vitae. Perhaps we can speak more another day."

So it seemed that many places had been affected by the oddities of weather. Hm, what could have caused it all? Vitae couldn't really say because he didn't know the area well enough to even begin to guess what was normal and what wasn't. Perhaps if he had spent a longer amount in this land then he would be able to tell what was natural and what was odd occurrences.

The odd mannered lioness spoke in an equally odd way. Vitae supposed it could be considered charming in its own way. "It is proof I am alive." And for Haros that was good enough. After all he had questioned his mate about his voice since Haros had first met him when he had the ability to sing lullabies. Such couldn't happen any longer, Vitae had to give up on being a bard. "Not too much. Just becomes worse with prolonged use."

And then the next thing he knew the odd lioness was coming over to sniff him. The other male took the opportunity to make his own departure. Maybe he didn't want to get sniffed at? Good excuse though. "Happy hunting, Tobin."

Adrien sought to come to his rescue though. "It's okay. I got... had sisters. At least she isn't trying to tug my ear off." The lightness he had started off his remark with faded as he had to correct himself. His family was dead now. He no longer had sisters. There was no longer someone to climb on him and use him as a chew toy.

"Do I smell good?" He asked, curious as to what the answer would be. He likely smelled mostly of his mate since he often stayed curled up to Haros when they weren't out and doing their own things.

Vitae gave a nod to Adrien when the other woman sought to draw away her friend and turn her attention elsewhere. "It would be my pleasure, Adrien. And you as well, Marja. Take care." Vitae made his own exit, intending on heading back to tell Haros of the odd weather phenomenons plaguing the lands.

While some others would probably enjoy a frozen swamp for the ease of travel- Marja enjoyed the mud. At @Adrien ‘s question, she nods happily. “Mud good. Good for fur to keep bugs away.” She says.

The male didn’t swat at her and so she sniffs him, her nose in his fur. She hears Adrien in the background speaking and then the male speaks. He smells… smelly. “Pride. Stinky.” She said with a huff, sitting back. “He alright.” She adds with a shrug, quickly following Adrien along to wherever she intended to lead them with a wave of her tail to @Vitae as she leaves.
