+5 Paladin - Observe a Fight || +5 Outlaw - Witness Drama between Prides


Alabaster had been wandering about nearby when the chorus of fighting drew his attention. One fight wouldn't have been so curious but this sounded like the beginnings of another war. What was with these lions and the need to constantly fight? Did they all forget how to be civil?

He arrived to get a better understanding of the situation. As well as potentially safe-guard any innocents in harms way. Yet the scent of his mate distracted from that original plan.
The Warden swept in from the crowd, noting knowing who was who but also not caring. Just as he caught sight of Alizabeth, an unfamiliar male was already advancing onto her. His own muscles tensed but he simply chose to skirt the perimeter of the fighting pair. @Alizabeth was fully capable of defending herself and she probably wouldn't take too kindly to him interfering. But he would keep watch anyway. Ready to intercept any more that wished to attack the Lagoon Ruler.

she had yet to find a good spot before multiple other fights broke out among the onlookers. elke couldn't find any familiar faces, nor did she feel the desire to step in when there were so many other lions that could need protection. despite the horrid weather, elke decided to stake out a high spot so she could see the scene before her. the main battle was andal oasis's leander, a lion she knew enough to somewhat support in his endeavor, and the sovereign of whatever pride leander wanted to claim. this would be her second pride battle she observed. in a few months, elke hoped to stand in the middle - perhaps not to challenge for a throne, but as a defender.

The call had rung out while he was climbing a particularly sketchy set of rocks in the peaks which meant he was slow to arrive. But better to arrivearrive in good health instead of broken and weary. Swearing at himself for wandering so far from his aunts borders. Arriving in the thick of things he glanced around, "What the shit show?" he asked himself out loud carefully skulking the edge of the group to try and gather more information. He would jump in when he knew who needed a beating, he didn't want to screw up his targets.

Carefully shifting himself around the edge he watched his aunt fight, glaring at her opponent. But he let out a supportive roar towards @Amara "Take him out!" shifting constantly so he was always checking behind him, he would not be caught unawares.

He lingered out of sight, using the debris of the pit as a barrier and a shield. Caladan was not personally involved this time, but he would use whatever information he gathered here to formulate his opinions. He recognized many of Andal’s hierarchy from previous challenges where he was present to observe in secret. Some of the lions from Wolfbron were familiar from the war in Ecrosia. As the white lion crouched, his senses were alight. He kept his blinded side guarded by the angle, using rocks and other such physical structures to block any attack from that side. Meanwhile, his blue eye glinted with the reflection of blurred motion as he shifted his gaze from fight to fight. Blood spilled fury bursting, vengeance spreading like fire. His own muscles tensed, and he spared a moment’s glance to Alizabeth as she was dragged into the fray. While watching his own back, he would attempt to put together the pieces of this apparent feud. It seemed toilsome, in the middle of such widespread natural calamity. The outcome would no doubt shift the political landscape of Amaryllis, and this was something he and his king needed to know. Corinthian is attempting to hide

The Sigrún yearling had, despite her mother's initial training, managed to remain out of pride politics and complaints that seemed to plague Amaryllis. She was quite happy to slip into the background at these large events that did not directly concern her, or her family. So when the call for Wolfbron echoed through Amaryllis, Cirilla Sigrún could not help but be curious enough to attend.

It was interesting, she thought on her journey from the Cay over to the Pit, that this challenge was to be held in a neutral territory. Did the challenger not want to trespass onto pride territory? That was the most exciting bit, being able to step onto soil that wasn't yours and then fight for it. The girl pondered on what that exhilarating feeling felt like - perhaps one day, she'd feel it too. But for now, Cirilla stood at the top of the Pit and peered down below to see a myriad of lions gathered. It looked hostile, as though war had broken out, and her eyes scanned over the fights that were taking place. Out of all of them, the fight between Leander and Amara, and the maim between Alizabeth and Gauthier piqued her interest the most. Lowering down so that her stomach pressed itself against the dry dirt that lingered at the top of the pit, Cirilla cupped forward her ears and simply observed.

Something was up.

First, the call. That had been curious enough because Curse had never actually experienced a full-blown pride challenge yet. However, as she neared the source, the sound of other scuffles reached her ears and brought a puzzled (partly confused) frown to her face. Was that normal?

She spotted the small, bright white, figure of @Alizabeth across the way, fighting some strange man, but wasn't actually sure if the lagoon had any stake in this fight. So she'd content herself with finding a spot away from the scuffles already happening, to pace and observe and wait for any clue as to what was supposed to happen here.

He was late, late to the ruckus that technically could threaten his pride.

He wasnt one to seek fights, but he knew that if he wanted to keep his place in this pride he needed to help. But how? Could he simply come up with a good excuse?

Or perhaps he could...pick a fight? It didnt need to be severe he was sure. Maybe he could come with a dominance match and pretend he was in the fight. Just so Amara and his pride mates saw him fight. Let them think who he wasnt.

He lingers for a target for his lie. He just needed anyone for his plan. There he spotted someone, a lioness with pretty markings he had to admit. Well she seemed a good choice, besides she was in the outskirts, even better.

He sneaks towards him, from behind he hoped. Quietly the black rushes from behind as he attempts to sneak attack on @Curse's frame. Jaws open as he attempted to bite on her scruff, while he aimed to place his front paws in both sides of her body. Let the fraud begin.

Amara knew that fights could change in a moment, a slip of the paw in sand or misjudging the movement of the other could make or break a fight. She had won and lost enough to know this and would never allow herself to be overconfident until the fight was done. Her claws slice across his eye just before her belly flesh is sliced against as he finished his attack there. She hoped that would be it but as she tried to bite him, her whole body started moving as he tossed his head about and her body went with it. Pain rushed through her neck and extended through her body, she could feel his teeth cutting into her neck. There was little she could do to stop him. Her bite to his eye landed above where she had intended but at least it landed. She attempted to pull her claws from his leg and with both sets of claws attempted to claw through his mane and dig into his neck on either side. Using him for balance was all she had for the moment but she would do what she needed to. She didn't try to bite him this time, moving target and all but her teeth were ready for an open target. She wanted this over soon so she could aid her pride members in their fights. Fights soon breaks around her, maims and more types makes her blood boil. No, she wasnt afraid. She was dying to help, to make these idiots suffer. Vellen's wrath arrived with her! Pain to their enemies, or that in her a bit too fanatic mind seemed a good thing. Lips curls leaving her fangs out. She waited though, she waited before jumping. She was excited but she had grown mentally. She grew smarter, to not pick just whatever enemy, she wanted to pick one that she might had better chances against. Eyes fall on a red colored man. "Take him out!" He said, that was enough to trigger her from going after the mouthy man. Ears pulls. Instead of going head on, she takes her time to hide and try to sneak on him. Of course he wasnt oblivious to the surroundings. She stops when he looks backwards, using all the available covers to hide. Finally she pounced from behind, fast. As she aims to close the distance, she attempted to jump over him, aiming to wrap her forepaws with claws out in both sides of his hips, for then attempting to bit on the base of his tail. She wanted to hurt him, to leave a message to the Bluff's idiots.
