The wind whipped and howled, as she listened, to the male. She nods at his words, completely willing to follow and trust that this stranger wasn’t someone sinister- because who was?

Then, as fate would have it a familiar face appears, and she can’t help that her ears flatten in a sort of annoyance at the face of her former ‘friend’. “Leander.” Her voice is almost saccarin sweet. The wind ripped through her fur, and she shook her head- her irritation at the Miroslav could wait. @Leander

Leander offers a place that he recognized, and she nods at him, and perhaps the annoyance with him fades a bit in her expression. Oh, she’s still angry with the male- but it’s hard to concentrate on that during this insanity. “Truce for tonight?” She offers, giving him a slight smile, because it certainly looked like they were going to be stuck together.

Another male approached, and came to stand beside Leander, but he didn’t speak, so Ghyslaine could only assume that the male was one of her former friends friends.

Another approached @Zagreus, asking if this was normal and she offers him a friendly smile, shaking her head, as she slowly realizes a bunch of them are gathering... and most of them are big. This was going to be an awkward night, unless someone found a big cave.

Then a female who beckoned them over with a bit of foul language that Ghyslaine couldn’t help but snicker at. She moves quickly, towards the woman, glad for the company of another lioness in the company of so many males. (@Alizabeth)

Another comes, and she frowns in his direction, his words confusing to her, and then another- and then finally— someone took charge.

She studies the male she first approached and nodded, at his idea. It made sense. As many who could comfortably fit here... go in, and the others find somewhere else but what if they couldn’t find somewhere else...

The storm, I don’t know if there is time to find somewhere else. We probably need to make this work.” She said, casting a worried glance over the males at the darkening sky.

Alizabeth had already tucked away underneath the shelter, the darkening sky looming overhead and rumbling softly in a threatening manner. Her heart tightened in her chest, noticing that amongst the many out in this shit was @Leander. Fuck, there was no way she could let him deal with this on his own. Slinking out of her protective little cave, she approaches the group and offers each a nod of her head, "Hi, what's the issue? The sky's about to open up a coconut of whoop ass on our asses if we don't hurry up." She chides, hearing @Ghyslaine speak up - nodding in agreement. Another heavy rumble sounded above them - a warning that the blizzard wasn't going to wait while they sat around and deliberated. Though she definitely appreciated @Gareth taking charge. A man who had a plan was always a sexy one. Except time was limited. Already snow flakes were beginning to fall and tickle her nose, sending a delicate shiver down her spine. "Listen, this blizzards gunna be a fuckin' doozy. The more bodies, the better - we'll be warm even if we're a little cramped." She narrowed her magenta eyes on Leander before glancing to @Seraphiel. "You can serve as our door, big guy." The words were said in a teasing manner, well...mostly. If they'd rather go with Gareth's idea, she was fine with that, but Alizabeth was just worried they'd get caught in the storm.

Seraphiel had already intended to take the outermost position simply due to his sheer bulk. It would be harder for him to cram himself in with the others, and he would take up valuable space from them. Besides, he would make an excellent wind break. So, he wasn't upset when he was volunteered for it not once but twice, and instead nodded in agreement. "Of course," he agreed verbally.

He headed towards the cave that Alizabeth had chosen and waited outside it for those who would choose to join them in it, turning his attention to the sky and impending storm. It was going to be bad, he agreed, and all he could do was hope that they would be able to get out again after it.

There is much ado about nothing and Leander cannot help but find the chatter back and forth grating on his nerves. He is more perturbed by @Ghyslaine's present than anything, eyeing her carefully as she presents the idea of a truce. He wasn't daft enough to fight her amidst the blizzard.. and even then, the Heir didn't think he was going to hurt her anyhow. Before things had become complicated, the Miroslav man had found himself rather fond of her. So he nods stiffly at the Mire woman before turning his attention to the bickering at hand.

One lion wasn't comfortable with being cramped up in to @Alizabeth's hidey hole and everyone else didn't really seem to mind being jammed in like sardines. Either way, the fact of the matter was that there was no time to ponder either way. "We will all fit here," the patched male contends, motioning towards the Lagoon High Sovereign as she hurries them. If they did not fit then well, Leander would push them all in until they did.

@Seraphiel offers his services as a windbreaker and Leander nods at the man, having noticed his active presence in Andal and beyond impressive. He looms closer towards the mouth of the caverns, standing by the entrance and waiting for any that might take up the offer of safety and warmth though it wouldn't be for long.

Ghyslaine

At @Leander’s nod, she turns away from him with a soft sigh, letting any tension leave her body. Tonight, they could be… not enemies. Not friends, no she didn’t think that she would ever regain her friendship with the male, but tonight at least…. She would ignore what rift was between them.

Admist the chatter, she shrugs and steps forward into the cave. She felt like she was perhaps the smallest of them all anyways. Sticking her head through the rocks, she stares around and then turns sticking her head back out. “She’s right- I think we can fight but it’ll be a bit cramped.” She said, with a gesture at the lioness- @Alizabeth.

She ducked back inside, determined to make herself as small as possible so that she was out of the way, so that they rest of them would get out of the storm that was surely brewing.

There was a lot of chatter but in the end it didn't matter. The weather picking up and little chance of finding somewhere else seemed to decide it for them. Another lioness began moving into the only form of shelter that they had at hand. That seemed to settle it. The larger felines would remain towards the outside and the smaller on the inside as he had suggested should happen.

The biggest of them all even agreed to stay out. Oleander was in no way as big as the biggest of them present but he did have some size to him as well meant that he would stand aside and allow the others to cram in first. His face turned towards the sky to watch the flakes drift down, slow at first and then with more haste. A white out was certainly on the horizon.

At @Ghyslaine's remark he cast his gaze to the sky and closed them slightly, thick snowflakes falling upon his face and within his mane. Even if he didn't wish it to be true (the weather getting bad, that is), she was right. They likely may not have time to try and locate this second place. They had somewhere here and now within a few feet. If anything, he could stay outside the den and block it the best he could.

@Alizabeth was the next to comment and he nodded his head, further coming to the realization that they might not have enough time to find elsewhere. So he nodded to the small white woman's urgent message. Though he did turn his head to @Seraphiel and was going to offer to be in his chosen place (for his bulky figure, and extra fluffy mane could save him) but he seemed content to agree to the woman so he nodded his head.

Either way, he waited alongside most of the other large figures that were present until all of the smaller lions were settled within. Gareth lingered for as long as he could to allow for everyone else to get to warmth and safety first. Looking out for them over himself before he turned his gaze to the lion that would essentially be their largest boulder. A respectful nod of gratitude and thanks for his "sacrifice" before he hunkered down and began what could only be described as a long wait for reprieve. exit gareth via smooshed

This was going to be a cold time, but at least the half of him that faced into the shelter would be warm. He settled himself so that as little of his back as possible was exposed, while also blocking the entrance as best he could. Luckily, it wasn't very hard, and he certainly didn't mind not being jammed into the middle of everyone else. Besides, as the snow covered him it helped to insulate him, making it much less terrible than it otherwise could have been. Hopefully he'd still be able to get up in the morning... or whenever the snow stopped... That was a problem for later, though. Right now he'd just try to remain comfortable and wait it out.

Even as they all piled up within the cave, Alizabeth could feel the blizzard beginning - the cold seeping into her bones. Despite her thick coat, she still shivered and grit her teeth, attempting to press her body into that of others and warm herself up. It was in times like these the Lagoon King knew exactly how small she was - every other time she didn't seem to remember. Pressing into the back of the cave as much as possible to allow the others more room inside, she tried not to take up much room. "This is gunna be quite the fuckin' story." She grumbles, taking a deep breath and trying to relax to let the storm pass. /exit Alizabeth via squished.

They were sitting ducks on a cliff in an approaching snowstorm, and it was perhaps the worst place they could be, considering they could easily be blown off one of its edges or simply their sight so obstructed, they could misstep and tumble off. Either way, it benefited everyone to find shelter as soon as possible.

A lion began barking commands, directing lions the best he could. No one else had stepped up to the plate, so someone had to... but they were terribly disorganized and otherwise still sitting ducks - not sure whether everyone would fit, or where there was another shelter. White-out conditions grew worse by the approaching minute, and they were running out of time to figure it out.

"Everyone," Reynir began, respectfully and as loudly as he could muster over the raging winds. "Get into the white woman's cave! Even if we have to squeeze, it's better than splitting up and risking getting lost or stuck in the storm!" He nodded towards Alizabeth, and tried his best to begin herding everyone towards her by simply encouraging those who would look at him with nods and gestures.

"Those of us who are bigger and fluffier should sit closer to the cave's entrance, while those of us with lighter coats should take priority inside the cave!" he called to them, hoping his voice was carrying over the wind. "I volunteer to sit by the entrance, to lend my winter coat in this time of need."

By no time, many of the lions had squeezed inside the cave; those with less fur taking the back, while those with more took up space by the entrance. Because Reynir was on the fluffier side, he had volunteered to sacrifice comfort to potentially save the lives (and toes) of the others, and he took up a place by the door.
