October 11, 2024 Something is happening in the Scorched Wilds. There is a battle raging between a familiar force and an unfamiliar one. What will you do? Help or hinder?

October 1, 2024 Spooky things are happening as the afterlife start walking among the living once again.

September 30, 2024 Louve Dieudonné manages to keep Wolfbron Bluffs in the family. What will happen between the Bluffs and the otherwise peaceful pride of Lorien Plains?

September 20, 2024 Ilarion Rurik challenges for Wolfbron, will the Dieudonné lead pride fall?

September 8, 2024War broke out once again in the Lagoon when a wedding had some uninvited guest arrive. The war results in the most death matches the island has seen at once. The Summit was challenged by Brighid with Talisa answering the call. After many years of the Summit have the same two leaders, the Summit changes hands. What will this mean for the balance of Amaryllis? A witch hunt has started by Luther and Miaran which seems to be turning things on an island that is full of magic.

August 25, 2024 War broke out in the challenge for the Lagoon after Cassius tries to take the Lagoon from Isla. The Cove remains with Miaran. The leadership of the Mire switches from Sigrún hold to Rike when Luther comes back to take his birthland back. Elephants push into the Rainforest and push out the lions there. Soon after Lucifer lays claim to his birthland and takes over the Rainforest.

June 27, 2024 Conflict and tensions rise as prides come head-to-head with one another across Amaryllis - just as Pyrrha and Cassius take the leap to try and claim (or reclaim) their own thrones.

May 24, 2024 Rulers continue to shift, family strife ensues, and, per usual, tensions seems taunt and always lingering on the horizon.

April 24, 2024 Things are rocky within Amaryllis as the Dieudonne clash result in three deaths and forces a shift in the rulership of Firnen Rainforest. With Caladan Cove freshly overturned as well, what will the consequenecss of these events be?

March 30, 2024 The lull has ended as a long standing family, the Dieudonné, launch death matches against their own. The Plains sees a challenge from a new comer, Aphrodite, and the quite pride is pushed into the spotlight.

March 19, 2024 A momentary lull has overtaken the lands of Amaryllis as its inhabitants attempt to find their footing and rebuild after a string of challenges. How long it will last, however, nobody can be quite sure.

February 11, 2024 The Mire has fallen from the Stärke family and is now held by Luther Rike. The change has stirred but the fighting nature of those on the island. The Brook finds a new leader with Icefang and Isla takes over the Lagoon after a storm pushes out the old leader. Reti finds himself the leader of the Hollows after Alexander is hurt. The Oasis finds a new leader in Léonie who is soon tested by Harou.

January 8, 2024 The snow has finally begun to melt anew, which means that the world is slowly returning to the much-anticipated summer season. With the various holiday activities and the other jests put on by Nafasi also coming to a close, it is safe to say that winter is finally over.

December 5th, 2023 Nafasi had pulled a cruel trick and has sent Amaryllis back into a renewed winter season! But it's not all bad, because the lands will also see a handful of holiday-themed events popping up as a result. To make things more interesting, a wayward trio of travlers have also arrived and are facilitating a mass competition between the prides, bands, and rogues -- formally dubbed the Amaryllis Winter Games.

December 2nd, 2023 The spring air brings forth a number of pride challenges. A familiar challenger for the Cove and the Oasis arrive to try to earn what they want. The new leader of the Lagoon is tested in battle as well. What changes will come from the challenges? Who will remain standing and who will find their world turned upside down?

November 27th, 2023 In a challenge between mother and daughter, the leadership of Wolfbron Bluff changes for the first time in 5 IC years.

November 22nd, 2023 Two death matches, one resurrection, and an almost-war later, the lands find themselves in a constant state of turmoil and calamity. Families have been torn apart and endless blood has been spilt; but how is it all going to end?

November 3rd, 2023 The lands stir violently as a death match rages on between Aeistrios Saxe and Morrigan Greyflood. Observers spill into the pit in droves to witness what will no doubt be a historic battle -- and it is clear that this familial fued is far from over, no matter who wins and who dies.

October 12th, 2023 With winter comes the surge of more pride challenges; Ludivine challenges Ryker for Firnen Rainforest and is victorious in her endeavors, meanwhile an outcropping of maims breaks out on the sidelines. In a shocking turn of events Luther returns to challenge Bruno for Ecrosia Mire, will the former heir prove victorious or has Bruno got what it takes to keep his brother's ambitions at bay? This has undoubtedly shaken things up as Bruno declares war against Andal Oasis and Allies in the process!

The rain is slowly peetering out across the lands, though it is still heaviest in the east and lightest in the west. Thankfully, however, the temperature is steadly rising and the sun no longer hides behind the clouds. In celebration of the new season, the vegetation is alive and lush and plants are growing wildly across the valley. Spring is in the air!

Nature's Wrath - (Barbarian)

The huntress continues to tear away at the dense wall of snow and ice, her claws beginning to sting from the effort even as the cold numbed her toes. Dots of red spread across her pale paws, smearing crimson stains into the white carpet beneath her feet, but she didn’t stop. She shifted the angle of minutely every few moments as she worked, trying to ensure that her talons would come out of this situation even sharper than they did before, rather than worn down to nubs. What good would she be without her claws, after all? They were arguably the most valuable things she possessed.

Myra can only huff under her breath, listening to the exchange between @Gauthier and @Amaroq with a slight shake of her head. Seemed that some of them had managed to retain a sense of humor. Confined as she is with a bunch of strangers, rows of pointed icicles looming ominously above them, Myra can’t say she feels the same level of entertainment, sarcastic or not. But she won’t complain, not when the dark beast beside her is proving to be so effective in eroding the wall that held them prisoner.

Gauthier’s sheer size and strength allowed him to bully a way forward, and the huntress would hook her arms into the edge of the tunnel opening around him, pulling away hunks of crackling ice and cold shards of stone to make it wider. Connecting his path to her own excavated burrow. Her breath comes out in heavy puffs as she shoves her way forward, scooping away the sheets of snow that poured down in an attempt to fill in the new opening. Her golden shoulder shoved roughly against cold barriers of ice until they splintered and sheared away, making her hiss as tiny shards stuck themselves into her skin, where they would melt to dampen her fur.

‘Til finally, it all shatters. The sunlight is dazzling, glittering brilliantly enough off of the flying shards of ice and the endless field of snow beyond that she has to squint to take it all in. “Finally.” She heaves out with a sigh of relief, panting from exertions, her nostrils flaring wide to take in deep breaths of crisp, fresh air. To think, she’d briefly thought that she might not taste freedom again, that that frozen cavern might have served as her forgotten tomb.

She wastes little time in bounding out from the ragged opening, pausing only to shake frozen clumps from her pelt, not entirely convinced that their tunnel wouldn’t just collapse in on itself at any moment. “It’s been decided. I’ll take mud over snow any day.” She comments as she passes by Amaroq’s crimson form on sore, bloodied paws, already charting out a course for home without bothering to look back. Whether the scarlet man wanted to follow her back to the Mire or not was his business.

Apollinaire had seen his fair share of avalanches, and this one was nothing too extraordinary. Asteria was young, so perhaps that was why she thought it was odd. If only he knew how far the bad weather spread outside, he would probably be inclined to agree that the situation might get worse.

Gauthier dug beside him, directing the voice of whoever it was on the other side to try and aid them in finding a weak spot. Soon he began to hear the stranger on the outside dig as well. His toes began to freeze from the cold touch of the ice between them, but he pressed on.

Now what? The voice called, but Apollinaire remained silent. Myra was quick to answer, even before Gauthier. He was amused to find that the Wolfbron man labeled the stranger beyond the wall his brother. What a strange coincidence.

When Gauthier directed his sibling to the weak spot, Apollinaire joined to rip into the sheet of ice, his talons crushing snow, his teeth occasionally crunching at the ice. He felt the muscle beneath his flesh strain, his claws bloodying at the base of their sheaths.

Bit by bit, the ice wall crumbled under their assaults. The scarred dark comrade beside Apollinaire called out that there was an open path, and Apollinaire slipped out after his pride mate, a grin spreading his lips wide even as the light made his sanguine eyes squint. Amaroq's red shape is far more blinding - was that really Gauthier's sibling? Perhaps they were just close allies.

The french man lapped at his bloodied paws, before stretching and disappearing back home.

Everyone began their work, focusing on where they thought the structures' to be the weakest. Even despite the danger surrounding them, there was little to no squabbles, which helped Genya maintain her own work. She had little use with her fangs, so she began to chip away at where the wall met ground. Suddenly, a call from the lion @Gauthier made her turn her attention to him. She had not anticipated seeing such a quick response to an exit made, but was inclined to investigate.

And indeed, the man did force an exit from the blockage, causing Genya to let out a soft sigh of relief. She too began forcing her paws to work, scooping away the excess snow and rocks that had clumped together. The work was quickly over when lions begin filtering out and, not long after, Genya too left.

It was exhausting work, and she knew she would be sore tomorrow. Asteria moved closer to the hulking form of Gauthier, noting that he seemed to be making the most progress of the group.

Her claws grew ever sharper on the solid ice, using her teeth to assist. Her paws were torn by the shards that broke free but she ignored the stinging pain, determined to contribute what she could to their freedom. Even as he lips grew bloodied, too, she kept at it, spurred on when a small hole opened in to the thick wall.

A large chunk of frozen wall pulled away and she strained against it, before finally heaving it away. It skittered across the ground in a satisfying way, and she once more knew that this was turning in to quite the exercise.

Until, finally, fresh air poured through and the hole widened enough to allow them passage. A quick glance to those around her before she, too, fled from the hell hole that had nearly taken their lives.

After all their combined efforts, the wall had suffered a hole, and one by one the trapped lions poured along outside, to meet the brisk heat of sunlight. @Gauthier's brotherly shove is met with a feral grin, and Amaroq's eyes would run curiously over @Myra's golden form. More lions shuffled outside to make their exit, and it almost bewildered Amaroq to see how many had been trapped within. Without another word, the soldier turns to leave, his lean frame rippling their crimson red along the pale snow. He would return to his exploration of the tundra, eager to make another discovery.

Ignored a huff of annoyance left her nostrils. But well it didnt matter, she just helped for her own benefit. Them all could die ad she wouldnt care.

She did her best to force her way into the rocks, helping them with opening a big enough opening for them to be able to escape the caverns. Calm yet focused mind, she was into it without letting others drive her away from the actions.

"Clima de mierda." She grunted.

Luckily the joined efforts they were able to bring it down. And as soon as she could leave she did. Saying nothing.

Finally did they break free of that prison. It took the efforts of each lion, but as the walls of ice began to shatter under the weight of their efforts, Farrow felt himself infinitely relieved. The time here had drawled on, and he had grown weary and tired of his efforts. His muscles screamed and ached, his jaws half-parted in pants, tongue slipping between glinting yellowed canines. He gave a final glance toward his companions, noting how each one seemed just as relieved; some lingered to celebrate with companions they already knew, and others swiftly stole away to the surrounding territory, perhaps to find somewhere safer than here.

Farrow would join them. The longer he spent away from Talisa and Morrigan, the more he'd worry they thought him gone once more. This shift in the weather was worrisome, however, and Farrow had much to report of the happenings in the north.
