June Y13
Summer
With the last of the rainfall seeming to have swept across the peninsula, summer days await! The days are warm, though comfortable, and peeter off into more mild evenings while the humidity remains low. It is the perfect inbetween until things transition towards more sweltering temperatures, so best enjoy it while it is here.

With one name came the other. Revna. The snow capped woman filed that away in her memories as a question was asked. Nodding slowly, Keela answered it. {Yes, I arrived many seasons ago. I've just been wandering as a rogue, keeping to myself.} The Gaia woman had no rushed desire to join a pride but the knowledge of the ones would be helpful. {I knew of some fighting going on but I tried to avoid any encounters, staying on the edges of the land.}

Revna nods her acceptance of the explanation from the snow white woman. "I've been a rogue for a while now," she offers her own explanation of why she is living on the beach. "My husband, wife, and I were living in Caladan Cove, but our leader was defeated and tossed out by a challenger." Thinking back on it, Revna realizes it had been quite a while already since Ulla's defeat. Things are...comfortable enough on the shore, she supposes. But maybe it is time for her to find a place where their wife would be more comfortable.
"The prides are always changing," she says with a sigh. "I know that Ecrosia Mire and Caladan Cove are enemies of my family. Beyond that I know very little. Except that Obsidian Hollow has been a long standing, somewhat peaceful pride." She learned as much from Tobin, here at these very tidepools, some time before the war. When the Cove was still theirs. Perhaps, though, this little bit of information will be of use to @Keela.

The Gatherings were always so interesting. Especially the Great Gathering that happened every four years. She had been able to go to one when she was a year old and it was so eye-opening. The entire lands of Gaia gathered in a neutral area. War was prohibited during any Gathering, for the Ancient Spirits would disapprove and the Gaia members were highly religious and faithful to them. They wouldn't dare anger the ones who ruled above them. Mog-Urs were the peacekeepers and the highest ranking members at the Gatherings. They spoke directly to the Ancient Spirits and superstition was too high to mess with the Mog-Urs.
Turning her attention to her surroundings, she looked around. "I can see why you live in this place. It's beautiful." Shifting crystal blue gaze back to Revna, she smiled.

"Changes are uncommon where I come from," she explains in return to @Keela's explanation of her own home. "My husband's family has one leader, and it is rare that it changes without reason." There have been some changes here, but much of that has been for reasons of some kind, from what she understands. At least, from what her husband tells her.
Revna returns the lioness' smile with a genuine one of her own. "Yes, it is," she agrees with a nod. "Even more so during the summer," she suggests, since she had first seen it during the warmer months, when things were much less dreary than they were in winter.
"I should go check on my husband," she says, shifting her weight a little. "It was nice to meet you. Maybe our paths will cross again sometime." She offers the woman - so kind and soft - a gentle smile and begins to turn away. She needs her rest, anyways, and her paws are starting to ache from the compensating. "If you ever need a friend," she says, turning her head back to Keela one last time, "Please don't hesitate to find me."
And with that she is limping back towards her temporary home.
