Whatever Roslyn had been expecting out of joining Wolfbron Bluffs, it was not what she got. The young lioness had been feeling out of her element, to say the least, and it resulted in much of her time spent unsure of what to do. So, when she caught the scent of a pair of gazelle tauntingly close by, Roslyn did not hesitate to seek after them. She swished her tail behind her in case it might signal to others to assist her, tucking her head between her shoulders as she tried to tail after them in silence. She had always had huntresses to feed her, but how hard could it be?

There was a new face to be found in the Bluffs. How long had she been here? Oleander found himself mildly curious and so he followed after the lioness. He didn't remember her here before the mist but he could be wrong. Either way she was tracking something. And then he noticed it too, a pair of gazelles.

The young male remained silent so as not to scare off the prey. Still he couldn't help but to glance about for others in the pride. Perhaps they would pick up on the scent trail and come.

Hunting was definitely not his forte and he was much more comfortable with letting the females handle the hunting but not because of laziness but because they always did a far better job than he could. His build didn't exactly cater to running very quickly but he could at least help them to officially take down the animals if it happened to get close enough to him. The prey he had set his eyes on was something he believed might be an easy capture but sometimes these animals had a lot of fight when it came down to the end of their lives. So far there wasn't a huge show of cats to take it so who was to say how well it would go?

Whenever there was a pride hunt, Caelum always tried to be there. Being surrounded by cannibals and their kin, you'd think he'd feel more at home, no? Well, he still felt like he had to hide his murderous nature from prying eyes - and what better way to release that tension than killing something more acceptable?

He crept up to the pack of gathered lions, each from his pride and each waiting for the moment to strike the gazelles hidden in the rocky bluffs of their home. It'd be a simple hunt, Caelum could feel it.

Amara always enjoyed a good hunt and would always be up for one so when the winds brought her the tasty scent of some prey she wasted no time in heading toward it. She spotted some of her members and moved toward them to take part in the hunt along with them. It was slightly strange that there were more males than females in this hunt but that happened from time to time she guessed. After a quick look over each of them she moved her focus to their prey and started to stalk the pair to get ready for their hunt to start and attacks to be made. It was time to eat.

2 years, no bonus Beelzebub is nothing if not a hard worker. She is simply a bee in the hive, a cog to part of a great machine — both within Wolfbron and life. Despite her absence, despite her change, she is still acutely her, and her nature has never been to sit idle. Traipsing along the mountain paths with a comfortable prowess, she can see the gathering pride up ahead. It is often the same faces that converge when someone has located prey, though a few are new to her. Silently, she sidles in alongside @Mithros with a comfortable little rumble vibrating through her chest. These lions are her family, and she is glad to be back amongst them.

Dice were rolled in discord by @CloudyNight. you can play out the remainder of the hunt however you’d like.

The pack of lions had converged on the two hidden gazelles, and the ungulates didn't see it coming -- well, they did, but they couldn't escape six lions. Eventually, with the collective forces of those gathered, the two gazelles were downed and their life force and meet provided a small snack to the waiting (and some drooling at this point) lions.

Caelum had dislodged a leg for himself and carried it off up a bluff, finding it much more peaceful to eat in peace. He allowed the sounds of the rest of the team gather their prizes to become his background noise as he crunched on the bones and tendons of the small, brown leg.

A few more showed up to the event and then the hunt was on. It wasn't some sort of massive undertaking but just a well oiled machine working together to fell the prey of the moment. The gazelles had no chance at all. As soon as they had entered the Bluffs their lives should have been considered forfeit. That was simply how efficient the lions here were.

Oleander made off with a portion of whatever was left of the gazelle, allowing for the females to take their share first. It was uncertain if there would be enough left o take back to the cache. With those gathered and what the hunt ended up producing he really doubted it. So the male took his morsel and left with it.
