The girl's whole body seemed to vibrate as something changed within the mist. There was a darker spot that quickly became a figure. Renly felt the need to rush forward to grab whoever it was and drag them out but she knew better than to lose herself like that. There's someone there! she cried, picking up her foot and pointing at the shape. Though, as soon as it came out it had way too many spots to be any of her family members but it didn't stop Renly from moving as soon as she was free and clear to do so.

The creature buckled down to the ground and Renly raced to them, sniffing them carefully before finding the trace of the blood nearest their paws. Their fur so mangled and unkempt, worry that if this creature looked like this then how was her own family members faring? Auntie Nym, Auntie Tullia! We need you, not realizing that there were two other trained medics as well in the group in @Heloise and @Voluspa. Knowing @Nymeria and @Tullia's trades backwards and forwards as family and calling them specifically to help this creature. Eyes scanning into the mist in case another soul might come out behind.

the druid’s body remained stiff and unsure, whiskers twitching idly as she observed the vastness of the mist before then, hesitant, but hopeful, as to what they would find. her ears twitched purposefully atop her crown as she kept her gaze level, lips parting in preparation to speak — until a commotion arose within her peripheral, instantly garnering her attention in the process.

her head swung instinctively at the sound of her niece's proclamation, chest hammering as she hoped to see a familiar face, there, emerging from the fog. and though the creature was not one of those that they had been anticipating, it was clear that they needed aid — and as a healer, the valour would be unable to simply turn a blind eye. and so, moving swiftly towards the collapsed figure, nymeria’s frown deepened at the mess that had become of their paws, which appeared bloodied, raw, and blistered from exhaustion. her eyes scanned the remainder of the leopard’s frame, and, once she was confident that they did not suffer from any other serious injuries, began to think, before finally speaking. "would anyone be able to find some white weed?" she asked, levelling the urgency in her voice as her gaze turned to the rest of the group, including the other medics. much like renly, nymeria thought of their own kin in these moments, and hoped that they would be offered the same kindness should a stranger find them in need.

He took an alarmed step backwards and swung his head up as something came at them from out of the mist. Smaller in size than most of them, and near collapsing to the ground before them. The creature itself did not seem a threat... but... Aquila walked past his family and the leopard, mist swirling around his ankles and wrists as he surged ahead a few feet back over the direction that the leopard had stumbled from. The taste of iron was thick on his tongue and hit the back of his throat, twisted his gut. He growled into the abyss, into the blank stare of fog and white. Just incase whatever had this leopard so panicked was out there watching them...

The woman wasnt having any luck, all she was able to see was mist and no scents popped out, at least none that could lead to a lost lion. Frustrating it was but Tullia didnt want to let that numb her common sense, rushing was important but not to the point of making it affect the rational spectrum of things. Ears up and around until she heard her niece's voice, @Renly calling for both she and @Nymeria. She turned to face them to find an injured leopard, it foot being the affected part. Ears pinned thinking if that could happen to her family aswell.

"I have some in my den." She rushed to her den to get white weed, and bring it back to Nymeria. "What else do you need?" She asked trying to remain calm. But also looking around for any hints. From her lost family.

The scent of blood hit her nose and her head snapped around in time to see the leopard make its way out of the fog. She was making her way over when Renly called for healers, but she reversed direction when Nymeria asked for white weed. Tullia had some in her den, but she had seen something else that would be useful as well back the way they had come. She plucked the nibima from the ground and deposited it next to Nymeria. At least there were plenty of them who were well versed in the healing arts here. She just hoped their missing pride mates weren't in a similar state.

At @Renly's alert, immediately would the Valour girl would turn her head in the direction, her heart beating in frantic time the moment she saw the dark shape appear from out of the thickened mists. It didn't seem familiar, but for a moment, her heart leapt in her chest with the hope that maybe it was one of their missing own. Temporary joy overswept her and when her sister rushed over as the unknown being collapsed to the ground, she was right on her heels with bated breath and sanguine prayer. As she came closer, immediately it became evident to her that it was not anyone she was hoping it would be, and a look of horror overtook her face when she was what terrible condition the leopard was in. Would this be how they found their own family? As tired, bedraggled, and wounded as this poor creature? She suddenly found herself wishing her mother was here right now, knowing she would know exactly what to do for this leopard and how to get their family back together again.

Aunt @Nymeria though immediately came from the crowd, and a small sigh of relief left Nienna's body at the sight of the pale lioness coming forth to take charge of the situation. She knew of the healing arts and would surely be able to put the feline back on it's tired feet. As @Heloise and @Tuallia would immediately take to assisting her aunt, Nienna couldn't help but continue to feel drawn to the leopard, the ache in her chest heavier. She wished she could ease it's suffering in some way, and before she knew even what she was doing, she sat down beside the spotted cat and reached out a small paw to start gently stroking the top of it's head with soft caresses. Mama had always done it before if she had been scared during a storm or woke up from a terrible nightmare. It had always made her feel safe and at ease, and she hoped it could do the same for this creature after all it had been through.

unsheathed claws gripped instinctively at the soil as voices began to spike, hitched with nervous energy as a leopard tumbled from the chains of the mist. darkened lips gave a subtle curl, albeit the fact that she felt sorry for the poor thing — but her body lurched away, past the commotion, in a similar fashion to @Aquila. for, while the sigrun was a novice healer, it was apparent that the brook lions had more then enough hands to deal with the lone stranger, which meant that her attention could be diverted elsewhere. and so she moved, steps strong as voluspa aimed to place herself a few feet away from the man’s haunch, her own gaze settled across the white void that lingered just beyond her touch. all-the-while, despite her outwards silence, her mind rang fervently, a distant echo of khal’s voice erupting somewhere in her sub-concipus, as she beckoned him to come back to her.

"Something..." Caligula started hesitantly when he was asked if there was anything. He leaned into Aquila, taking comfort in the physical contact. "I think..." Or was he just seeing things? "I'm not sure. But I think something is there." The smaller male finally admitted at last.

And that would seem to hold true as a leopard came crashing out of the mist. The medics swarmed in to take care of the injured creature while Aquila left his side to stand guard. It left Caligula feeling at odds. What was there for him to do? He could neither heal nor could he fight.

Instead he moved a few paces off to once again study the mist. He was straining hard to hear through the mist, to watch for anyone else that might be there.

RETURN OF THE MIST

The leopard would admit there was little comforting about the horde of lions that descended upon him. At their first movements he flinched, knowing that he was unable to go much further and that if they wished him harm this was the end. His eyes shut tight, having pled for help there was little more he could do but wait for the pain and end.

And wait. And wait.

It never came. The voices called for help, rallied to his side and offered assistance- calling for herbs and standing vigil at his side. Thank you. He said specifically to young Renly who had first called for help, his face sincere and full with appreciation. There was- He struggled a little, tired and breathing heavy. - someone else I passed. A lion. They were alone but I kept running I thought they might hurt me. But he might need help too.

There was a heavy feeling that seemed to press against every inch of him. The darkness around him was neverending and nothing he did allowed for him to see even his paw. The male at first fought it but decided that if death was going to come this way, there wouldn't be anything he could do to stop it. He remained unaware of anything until the softest light started to spread into his space and he could see again. He quickly took a look at his paws, still there. The light seemed to guide him and so he went toward it, if it was death then maybe someone would have a great story to tell about how he walked straight into it. Unwavering in his courage. Mac stepped into the light and at first, he was blinded and had to turn his blue eyes toward the ground and blink quickly to try and rid himself of the blinded feeling. Slowly he looked up and saw before him a group and unknown animals. He stood still as confusion started to roll over his face and his ears flicked around quickly trying to figure out if he would ned to run or fight. He didn't really want to do either. He wanted a snack and a nap but that didn't seem to be the plan of the day. He stayed frozen as he tried to figure out what he was looking at. The ranges of colors and patterns were unlike anything he had seen before. What are you? Finally spilled from his vocals as he hoped it was just some crazy joke that was being played on him.
