Caladan Cove HAS DISBANDED AND IS OPEN FOR CLAIMING!

A mid-winter storm slams into the Cove in the middle of the night causing the waves to slam into the caves and fill them with water. Gauthier is swept out to sea while the pride flees. The storm settles and the sun filters in on the Cove showing scattered driftwood and seaweed and a watermark that erases the signs that anyone had been there before.

Nephthys downright bolted when she noticed the subtle difference. The change in the air made her skin. Although she would wonder what became of Gauthier, part of her also.. very much did not. Her skin crawled with anticipation as she rushed to the sands, her old home, her birthright, the place she wanted to finally call her own. Nephthys knew her parents would be proud If they had been around and hoped, deep down, that even Morrigan would support her. The Tollaire rushed to the sands and roared a claim, her claws unsheathed as she eagerly paced for an opponent.

Also, her husband.

He heard her challenge, that roar of declaration would have him lurching to his feet. Knocking over Evren in the process. The boy bounced up, moving behind him as if there was a threat. Smart boy. Ronin would chuckle and give one command. “Come, if you wish.” He would say to the cubs around him, he didn’t bother trying to tell them to stay. They were old enough to see this, she would fight harder knowing her children were there. The beast would set off, with whichever cubs decided to follow him. His pace remained brisk, but he didn’t let any short legs fall too far behind.

He would slow as he reached the Cove. “stay next to me. If I say run, run home.” it was a stern warning, but a necessary one. He didn’t know who would attend but these were often bloody, dangerous affairs. Moving forward, the warmonger would find the red form of his wife and grin to her, moving forward to brush against her encouragingly.“Give them hell, Love.” He would rumble quietly in her ear before moving back a safe distance and taking a protective, but relaxed stance.

To his surprise it was @Isla ♔ that answered the challenge. Well..this would be interesting. Tongue rolled over his lips as he politely told Nephthys to make the first move. Eyes focused on his wife, proud of her for taking the opportunity and it showed in both expression and posture. He had no I’ll will towards the summit Heiress, but he wanted his wife to kick her ass.

"Rah-rah and all that jazz." Naga's royally held frame manuvered in, his mother's demanding bellow still echoing in his ears. Bright and vivid gaze locked in upon her, anticipation building. He did sincerely hope this turned out well for her. She deserves it... And who knows what this would mean for her future? And more importantly for his?

And he did enjoy a good spectacle to view and catch his attention. So once his mother had her opponent Naga meandered towards a rather large driftwood log, tossed aside by the sea, and took a lounging position on top of it. Reclining peacefully, paws happily crossed and a giddy look on his face. All that was missing was someone to feed him grapes.

The last he had heard, his cousin had been living here. Ruling it on his own, so now where was he? He was curious about it so when the call came up for the Cove that told him right there that a Devorre no longer ruled this land. How disappointing in truth and he had thought about taking it for himself but that wasn't going to happen. Adeodatus liked the beach less than the Mire and the mountain's called him more than other prides did so he was here to only speculate. Two women showed up to fight and he found a spot nearby to watch.

Drawn to the call for a challenge like a moth to a flame. Wandering the land in search of every kind of training possible and what better way to hone those skills than to watch two lions battle for something as prestigious as a crown? Laerra rolled for what felt like forever in the dry and wet sand, covering herself in as much of the territory as possible so that she wouldn't be immediately recognized by scent or appearance. Slinking in on the outskirts and weaving her way in, she finally caught sight of one of one and then with some adjustments, she saw both of them.

Hunkering herself down did she began to grind her claws back and forth over the hard rock beneath her. Slow and steady, mindful of the noise that it might create and keeping it to near silence. Wanting to be ready should anyone find her and attack her, wanting nothing more than to gather knowledge of yet another fight and knowledge of who would be the winner here. Neither of these lions were Wolfbron (that much she knew) but they were near strangers to her but it didn't mean that she wasn't trying to look to the others that began trailing in to see if she could read their lips.

Oof. He was sent tumbling as his father lurched to his feet. The intimidating sire looked alert and tense, sending Evren to scurrying behind him, out of his way and any danger his dad had heard. When his father spoke, his head shot up from its lowered position. “Really?!” Then he was off, following his dad. Where were they going? It was a long walk wherever it was, because by the time they finally went from dirt to sand his short legs were tired as hell. He stopped when his father said stay close. He huffed. He wanted to explore! There was no border here. He wasn’t trespassing. Why would his father tell them to run?

He assumed it had something to do with bad lions. Evren noted the center of the clearing, how is mom stood in the center of it. “Go mom!” He piped up, sitting down to look around as his father came back to him.

Oh, these massive paws of hers were too slow! What a shame! As soon as she saw the amount of lions gathering, she surmised she was already too late and slowed her rush to a heavy lope. It had the flavor of someone trying overly hard to be casual but failing. Mostly due to her floppy tongue and the panting that shook her fluffy sides. She eyed several lionesses, decided neither of them were interesting enough to needle right now, and instead moseyed toward @Adeodatus the male who had brought her into the Mire.

"Should the Mire be extending our reach here too?" she questioned loftily with an arched brow, the weight and cut of her potential jibe much blunted by the fact that she immediately flopped herself stomach-prone onto the warming sand. Stretched out all her limbs. Gotta tan herself evenly... and she had some vague idea that lying down and taking deep breaths would make up for the tiny bit of exercise she'd just done. She made a single sacrifice to a perfect sunbathing posture by keeping her chin slanted so she could barely watch his expression with one yellow eye.

He wasn't left alone for very long as @Toblerone arrived and flopped herself right down next to him as if to sun-bathe or whatever. She got a raised eyebrow and a glance in her direction before his attention went back to the growing crowd. If so, it won't be myself that takes it. He would state. The sand was not a friend of his and never would be. The swamp lands of the Mire was not a friend either but he had grown fond of it in his few years of being within it. Perhaps one day you can take it for yourself and be an ally to the Mire.

The void, it was there and he had the call the answer. So when the flock started to arrive, Keligan made his dash. This was his home. Not theirs. His paws strides from his den as he let out a roar. His focus was only on the one who sought to take his home from him. Claws were extended and ears pinned as he looked at Neph. {I challenge you to keep my home.} He stood in front of her with narrowed eyes as his gaze stayed on her. He would not be uprooted with his wife. This would be his. It would be Sunder’s home.
