Prompt: A curious gazelle has wandered farther into Obsidian’s tunnels then it should have. Its calls for its herd echo uselessly off the cave walls.

four years, no bonus
Despite the fact that she, so far, quite enjoyed this pride and its territory (hell, she had been here before and liked it then, too) she was surprised to find things she hadn't noticed before. In the length of the tunnels, she had stopped momentarily to find a plant notably known as adam and eve. A name that, obviously, held no weight to her but it was enough of a memory of the plant to know that it was dangerous. Essentially, he would debilitate an opponent into not breathing correctly. Maybe forever, depending on the victim. It was a pretty plant of greens, yellows and a brilliant blood red but its design was one built to tempt. A plant that held a single grew tongue out of its flowery mouth, taunting those to come close and have a taste.

Distracted, luckily for any future victims, she was quickly alerted to the clicking and clacking of a nearby animal. Not cat-like in nature, but hooved. Immediately prompting Juliette to call in chuffs for anyone nearby. From the sound of it, there was only one but could very likely be more and the echoes on the cavern walls were tricking her. So Juliette set forth to locate and find, setting into position.

4 years, no bonus

She heard the gazelles calls and a part of her felt sorry for the creature, for the fear it must have felt when it realized it had wandered into the home of lions. The circle of life was such a brutal thing, one she wished there was a way to escape. But that was foolish to think about and she did her best to keep clear of those fantasies as she slipped into the tunnels and followed the sound to its source. She had not been the first to hear it, and she assumed more would arrive soon enough. At least the end would be swift.

Now that she felt there was a lot more at stake, Ember patrolled the borders like she damn well meant it. Keeping those ears as listening as possible while her orange eyes set to gaze around, mostly to the outside. Paws stomping through the land while also trying to keep relatively quiet. But, she was also trying to listen for more demure steps -- as though anxious to see the goddess that roamed the tunnels of the Hollow.

Eventually side-stepping away from her patrol to follow the scent of a gazelle that had wandered in. Immediately putting her mind to work that she could offer it as a gift to the Goddess and hope for good fortune and good luck. Meandering as close as she could down the last tunnel it had taken, she began to draw her claws along the floor. Readying them for what was bound to happen, wishing for nothing but success as the slight scraping noise of her claws echoed along the tunnels. If she were a religious woman she might have prayed but instead, she simple bared her teeth with excitement.

3 years , ranger level 4 +1 to hits, -1 for Prey dodges Caillen was extremely excited to join her first hunt as an Obsidian Hollow pride member. Always happy to server and make everyone happy she was quick on her feet to come and join the hunt of today..And it didn't matter that it was just a mere Gazelle, nothing with a lot of substance for a pride. But she knew best not to discard any food sources, regardless of how small they could be. As such the small lioness followed the scent of the gazelle, then went into position to hide and help. Using all of her experience in this hunt to hide and make sure to be stealthy. Now all she had to do was to wait. +5 Take down easy or medium prey (dice-roll) +5 Follow the scent of prey +5 Participate in a hunt using the rolled hunt system

It was a sorry excuse for a hunt - at least in the terms of feeding such a large pride. A frown was on his face as he arrived to the echoing calls of the gazelle, and it is easy to see he is not alone. Others had came to the sounds too - and Neculai regards them all with a partial nod of his head. He eyes @Sorine for a fraction of a second, throwing a wink her way before he focuses in on what needs to be done. He had no doubt in their success, and if for some reason they failed Neculai would be looking into sharpening everyone's hunting skills. That would be saying a lot from him - seeing as he liked to avoid the extra work if he could.

five years, no perks

This was a laughably simple hunt. One that he didn't particularly feel the need to attend save for the fact that he'd come across it, so he might as well. Besides, there were lionesses in attendance that he hadn't met before, and it occurred to him that Alexander must have been out recruiting. The man had a silver tongue, he'd admit. Angelo didn't think he would be nearly so good at such a thing, even if he actually tried. Considering how rare putting in an effort was for him, that was incredibly unlikely. He'd at least shown his face for this. That should get him some points for a while.

Like Angelo, he was aware his presence wasn't needed here with so many others. Unlike Angelo, he was sufficiently motivated to participate anyway, without grumbling about it mentally. He knew they all needed quite a bit of food to thrive, especially with the gift of new life within the pride.

So he would join the gathering, brilliant orange sticking out like a sore thumb among them but not caring about that. He was used to hunting in such light conditions, and therefore wasn't concerned. Especially not after they had brought down an elephant not so long ago, without much difficulty at that.

4yrs, no bonus

Valerian, though not a skilled hunter, knew it would do him good to show his face. With the scent of prey and the lost bellows of the gazelle an obvious call for the pride to gather, he lurks until he finds the others, joining them with little energy for words on this day. He offers a soft nod of greeting and takes his place, ready to move and react amongst the tunnels he was quickly coming to know like his own markings.

It did not seem there would be much to go around with such a small creature to fill their bellies, but long periods as a rogue had made him never willing to turn down an easy catch.

5 years, no bonus

It's become a familiar enough pattern, the way Mircea patrols the Hollows' boundaries like some sort of wraith, his haunting presence often accompanied by the harsh sound of his talons scraping against the rough stone that builds up and shields his home. The pale streaks left behind serve as both a marker and a warning, evidence that Obsidian will never be left undefended so long as the Savante hold it.

His ears twitch suddenly, the massive beast pausing with his claws still resting against the cliff as the distraught cries of a gazelle echoed its way down from the nearby tunnel. How troublesome. He turns to slide his way back into the caverns, dappled coat dragging against the walls as he sought to find the source of the noise - and silence it.

A gazelle would not add much to their stores, if anything at all. But who were they to turn down such a gift, nevertheless?
