A good few hours had passed ever since the Lightstone members had evacuated the premises of their little territory, and right now Bhaskar was unsure where everyone but his family was. He hadn't found Aries in his den, which means he was probably wandering somewhere pickin' up flowers and stuff.

Thankfully, both @Naga and @Devika were safe with @Nephthys, which made leaving their den easier. He'd led them back to his previous den, happy to find that the mist hadn't claimed it. After settling down, he'd gone outside to investigate. The curtain of fog wasn't even close to this area, nor did it look like it was moving towards them. Good. Guess his old den would have to do.

The peach titan entered the den with the usual scowl on his face, but this time with an actual reason behind it. I don't get it. he mumbled to his maroon wife. This fog shit is bad juju. Some of Gawain's cubs went missing. His heart shrank at the thought of Naga and Devika disappearing. Steel gaze glanced at his two children, lowering his head to be at their height if only for a bit. You don't go near the mist, okay? He would have to search for Gawain in a bit and help look for his kids.

The sudden move was disorienting at first but by the end Naga was well amused by it all. The world was bigger than he knew, and all along the way signs of the mist claimed bits of the land. The world felt quiet, eerie, and still. Suppressed by this force of nature. A force that made his family move? Great as they were this mist bested them? Not so long as Naga was breathing. "I won't go missing." Not like Gawain's weaker children. Fae little tricks played in Naga's mind as he purposefully did not directly promise to not go near the mist. Simply to not sucumb to whatever forces it had at its disposal. It was just mist. Naga didn't know why his father was put off by it, it had seemed plenty fun to Naga. Fearless, never imagining he could get lost in it like others had. He certainly was better of than some strange cloud.

She had followed her father dutifully. The mist didn't scare her, though she was curious ab out it, the colossal child had yet to realize that it was dangerous. Her to big for her own body paws lead her towards the entrance of the den that her father had brought them to. It wasn't home but it was home. It smelled of father, however faint it was but that would soon change as it would smell like her entire family. The Band was gone, that was what she understood, but her family was not. Her gaze turned towards her father as he spoke about not going towards the mist. That Gawain's children were missing as well and though she wasn't like her brother in thinking that they were weak, she would nod her head in promise. Okay Papa. She would exclaim.

"Yeah, there's something.. not right about it. My parents said they'd seen something similar when they first arrived, but that it cleared up by itself." Nephthys shrugged as she followed behind the small group, more than happy to be the caboose in order to keep a better eye on the kids. The last thing she needed was one of them wandering off, never to be seen again. Maybe the kids weren't always her favorite, but they were hers, and she was damn well going to make sure they stayed alive.

Her eyes drifted to Naga as he declared he wouldn't go missing. No. No, he wouldn't go missing. Nephthys would make sure of it. "Well, don't tempt fate. Gawain's kids might want playmates." They'd probably come back as zombies or some shit. She wasn't entirely sure if she was supposed to care about the other cubs, but she didn't. Hers were the only concern.

"Bleh." Naga's lips recoiled around his teeth and his tongue was struck from between his lips while mother suggested those kids for playmates. Pointedly it drove him to immediately wander to @Devika's side. His mind craving all of a sudden the touch of her body to his, Naga would weave up along her side and aim to rest his dark head over her light splotched shoulders. His little chest rolling happily with an immediate, content, purr. She was the only playmate he needed, the only one he was sure he'd ever want.

So- Content as he was his little mind was hyper, fixating outwards into the quiet mist. "What are we doing?" He asked aloud, not sure which of his parents would answer.

@Nephthys chimed in that her parents had seen that sort of thing before. So it's normal? A single brow lifted to signal his confusion. How could lion-eating mist be normal, really? He glanced at the exit of their new den, the fog's tendrils creeping among the trees in the distance. Hope this one clears up by itself too. This valley was strange... A friend of mine once mentioned somethin' about some god of his - Maua, Bhas spoke to his mate. It was a strange topic to bring up, especially coming from the peach paladin, but it was becoming increasingly difficult to explain this strange phenomenon in any other way. Do you... think that's for real? His voice was full of uncertainty, eyes now searching Neph's face for any confirmation.

@Naga was quick to assure them that he won't go missing, and so did his sister, and that was enough for Bhas to be fooled by the sly boy's fae tricks. Truthfully, the plum boy was most likely ten times more intelligent than his colossal father. Good boy, Bhas' firecracker wife didn't want Naga tempting fate, though. He was amused ( only on the inside, of course ) by the kid's expression at the idea of playing with Gawain's kids. No surprise, really, considering that Naga always preferred @Devika's company.

"What are we doing?" How about we clean up this den a bit, eh? Make it cozy and all, put some furs here and there. They've brought some pelts along with them from their old den. Bhas thought this activity would distract the kids from wandering outside.
