More aimless wandering was had by the young Viking, taking the time now to explore parts of Amaryllis he hadn't been to before. And that meant he had a lot of exploring to do. Being cooped up in Caladan while growing up wasn't all that bad, up until the rockslide had brought the demise of the pride. It also reminded him of how much he had been sheltered, and now was the time he were taking his life by the reigns with freshly turning a year old.

Arkyn found himself wandering toward the raging sound of the waterfall, finding it s good of a spot as any to take a quick breather from his adventuring. Bringing himself to the edge of the pool of water would he then lower himself to lap at the cool liquid, cooling himself down a little in the summer heat. Yellow eyes would stare ahead of him while he quenched his thirst, ears twisting forward to stay cautious and alert.

Ragnarok Awaits

Tyr descended the path that wound itself along the mountainside. His ivory pelt had been stained with blood in a fashion most unnatural. His forepaws were soaked up to the ankles and, along his face, four streaks of crimson had been pulled down across both eyes and streaked along his chin.

Yet another sacrifice had been performed at the peak of the Mountain of Freyr. This time it had gone uninterrupted.

As he came to the Sacred Falls to make his exit from this place, his crimson gaze was drawn to a young man stooped at the water's edge. With a curious tilt of his head, Tyr approached with a posture of strength and purpose. Ears perked forward with interest and gaze intensely monitoring the yearling's reaction to his arrival.

"A bit young to be wandering away from mother's watchful eye."

Tyr spoke darkly as he came to a stop a lion's-length away, his Nordic accent prominent... even more so now with his jaw slacked by his newly healed injury. Tyr lifted his bloodied, decorated head proudly to look down upon the rather large yearling as he waited for a response.

His solitude would be rather rudely interrupted by a lion he didn't know. Skull would lift from the water, droplets dripping down his chin and splattering onto the ground below. The young Viking would shift his position so that yellow eyes were narrowed onto the white lion, taking in the rather weird appearance he adorned. Was that blood all over him? A lip would curl in distaste at the sight; why would someone willingly spread blood all over their face purposefully? That's what Arkyn assumed, anyways. No way did his face looks like that when finishing a meal. His muscles would tense, though, with the close proximity between the two. He could feel his blood begin to pump a little faster and adrenaline wanting to start rushing through his veins, the peach yearling trying to settle those feelings by letting out a breath.

The lion's words would bring forth a scoff from the Brynmawr, eyes rolling accompanying it. "If you're trying to be intimidating, you're going to need to do a lot more than tell me I'm too young to be wandering on my own." Eyes wouldn't stray from the ivory lion, noting that he didn't look much older than Arkyn himself. So where did he get off on saying a yearling shouldn't be out on their own? If he only knew that Arkyn had been basically raising himself shortly after his birth.

Ragnarok Awaits

A deep chuckle rolled off Tyr's tongue at the young male's quip. He seemed ignorant to the dangers of the world, perhaps blind to signs of warning and bold in the face of danger. It reminded Tyr of himself.

"It’s wise to deny your fear, lest you look weak in the face of danger."

Tyr commented with a hum from deep within his chest. He was dangerous. Danger incarnate, as far as he was concerned.

He had noticed the tense muscles and the steadying breath from the yearling before him. Despite the young man's claims, Tyr could see the boy was unsettled by his presence... and he grinned darkly at the thought.

"Though, surely you are curious? A man descends from the mountain with patterns of blood upon his pelt... have you no questions in your mind?"

He wonders with a hike of a brow and another tilt of his head. His company's gaze was distrustful (and rightfully so), never having left Tyr's own. It was duly noted.

This man was too weird for Arkyn's taste, ears twisting slightly backward as he continued to listen and watch him. What was he even rambling on about? Was the Brynmawr supposed to find some sort of fear from him? Because he surely wasn't. Even if the lion made him feel a little uneasy it didn't mean that he were afraid of him. And then he would ask a question, prying at as to why Arkyn didn't ask about why he were covered with blood. The yearling would stare pointedly at him, staying silent, his expression unwavering. Was he really supposed to care about this? What others did on their own was certainly none of his concern.

"If i was curious I would have already asked." A sharp tone would lace his words, whiskers twitching. With the roll of his shoulders would the peach colossal let out a huff, wanting to enjoy some peace and solitude and possibly a dip in the water to cool himself off. But it didn't seem like he was going to be alone any time soon and he would be damned if he were spooked away from the waterfall.

When faced with the cockiness of the youth, the pale-pelted Viking would let out a laugh. This time the sound was hardier, even further amused by the younger male's reply.

"Ahh, then you are a fool masquerading wisdom!" Tyr said in a jovial tone as his laughter died away. "For all you know, this could be lion's blood after all... surely you've heard of the disappearances?" Tyr offered with another wicked grin, bringing a paw up to begin grooming away the stains of crimson.

With the huff from the younger male being clearly audible, Tyr would gesture to the water with the same paw he had been grooming. This time an expression of mock concern resting upon his features. "Oh, don't mind me. Go on, have your fun." He would offer as innocently as he could. Before he returned to his grooming, Tyr would give another chuckle and a roll of his eyes.
