Arkyn was able to keep himself balanced by using the other as leverage, and as his claws continued to rake into flesh would he release snarls of his own in satisfaction. What he couldn't say in words he knew how to better say with violence, and right now the Brynmawr was telling the lion that he was beyond annoying. But as he continued on with his awkward bear hug to keep himself upright would the other pursue a shove of his own, causing for Arkyn to take a couple more awkward backward steps to help keep him from falling backward. But with this push would it cause for his front limbs to finally disengage, slamming the ground beneath them and causing for the Viking to recoil away from his opponent.

As he were attempting to make a small gap between the two would he feel fangs slice into the right side of his face, seeming to trace his jawline and cause for the other's intended target upon his neck to be misplaced. The sudden sting and burn caused for a ripple of snarls to erupt, the blood following the contour of his jaw and dripping to the soft grasses below. This would only fuel him to continue to attack, raising his right front paw and attempting to swipe it at the male's left side of his face, attempting to smack him square in the middle as well as attempting for his claws to sink in and drag down. Simultaneously with this would the yearling strike with an opened maw toward his right, attempting to sink his fangs into the lion's left shoulder.

Jaws would snap and the yearling would snarl, but he could feel that he were the victorious one today. After a last snap at the other male would the Brynmawr pull himself away, sides heaving as he stood there breathing heavy. "Now fuck off," he would spit, tone filled with venom. Ears would stayed pinned to his head as narrowed eyes watched the lion for a few more moments. With sneer would he then turn on his heels, ignoring the wounds he had received today to go back to what he were doing before he were interrupted.

Padding back to the tree he were once clawing at would Arkyn resume stretching and sharpening his claws on the thick bark, doing this for a couple of minutes before finally releasing and letting front paws hit the ground heavily. With a roll of his shoulders and a rather large huff would he then begin jogging once more, this time heading back to an area that he had been resting at for the last several days.

it scares me half to death
He forfeits willingly, and though it does not seem like it the prince of black folds in half. Bright light flashes before his eyes as the young brute sweeps him from his position of matriarch, pulling at the tendrils of hair before retracts like a coiling snake. Icarus shuffles, pulling himself from the grounds with heaving chests and a deathly stare. Salmon tongues rip from his jowls to clean the blood from his teeth as the fallen God scrunches in distaste. He has never been one for the violence within his own species, lion blood was not as quarrelsome as buffalo or any others. Yet - he succumbs to what has become as the bronze creature spits profanity to his will. Icarus can only scoff as the boy treads off wards - calling out to him from the winds "If you wanted a taste all you had to do was ask!". He wills himself to be nice, but only wishes in these moments to devalue the strength of a brooding child. One day he will reap of the wrong flesh to sow, today though, Icarus is merciful as they part ways.
