It was time for her to set roots, this time thicker she hopped. In the previous time in amaryllis the pride she joined didn't last long and she didn't like that, to be in a home that could be gone in the blink of an eye. She needed stability for once and all, and of no pride could supply that need she would be forced to take one tk change that, but that was something she didn't want to do unless she felt forced to, but now she was going to give whatever pride that was now the opportunity.

She crossed the desert during the night, knowing that doing so in the day could be a bad idea with the sun and chance of getting post with it. She walked in silence, ears forward and a face that reflected serenity, serenity capable of hiding a wild fire within, it was up to others if they wanted to find that out or not.

A pride lived here, from the border scents she took within her nostrils. She stood there outside, thinking a bit better until she finally called for whoever was in charge and perhaps investigate about the pride before asking for an spot.

Suspicion wound close to her mood, skepticism rent by the many terrors that stalked peripherally to Andal. Aidoneus suffered no fool, not any longer. The woman was closely watched in her approach to the Oasis, and seemed to move deliberately, with purpose. Something akin to panic began to strum her consciousness, bridging wakefulness into keen and astute awareness. Each shift of the stranger’s motions were taken in, and dissected. The lines of her face were traced with the steel of her stare, and once she had come daringly close the sovereign approached. Unsure of herself yet, still waxing her assurance to that decadent shine carried by other Kings other Queens, traces of timidity lingered in the softness of her lips, in the corners of her eyes. She had protected their borders once and trusted herself capable of repeating it should it be needed. Still, there was an uneasiness, taking in @Alma. What brings you here? Finally, she breathed—the question stamped between the two, doing her very best to sound authoritative, and as assertive as her husband.

Being gone for quite the time, she didn't have any clues of what have been going around Amaryllis and she was on her right to be surprised with the lioness who answered her summon. And eye brow rose on her claw face, eyes nor hostile but confused, as far as she was aware she didn't cross the borders and did her best not to be seen a threat. She wasn't unless provoked, or around Stupids. This lioness wasn't any of the two, but her tone was firm, confident. She looked at the white and brown lioness calm but not shy to speak her mind. "I don't bite. Mah name is Alma De la Roza." A long ass name yes.

"I seek a place to live." To the point. Sharp as she could be. "But please do tell me, what are this pride's values? In exchange I can hunt and fight punks for ya." She explained briefly but with the main points she wanted to get across. She wouldn't be offended if she was turned away, there were more fish in the ocean to go for.

Aidoneus, Andal Oasis's sovereign. The instinct to be friendly was more difficult to avoid than she'd care to admit. It went against every fiber to fall into cold reservation. Motherhood definitely bridged the gap between amiability and the ferocity-driven need to protect. She thought of Tron, and her children, and her husband's elder children. She thought of the new life Ashelia added to their numbers. Stood to reason any visitor could be a possible threat.

She took in a quick, heavy breath as she considered her reply. What were their values? A quick stud, she gathered what she knew of their pride. We abide no trespassers here. We welcome the ambitious and competitive spirits who seek to fight for a place in our council, Her lips found a wry yet thoughtful smile. I personally value loyalty above all, especially in defending our home and those who live within it.

Oh, how she come to rely on Seneca's authority. Her confidence within herself was beginning to diminish, softened by the newness of her role and the many complications it introduced. She would never admit it, especially to a stranger or her husband at that, but she longed for the days all that was required of her was to hunt and replenish their cache.

But, at least @Alma's talents made things tide easier. Hunt and fight punks, yeah? how promising.

I was once the Lead Hunter here, and so with my promotion we've been in need of one. A brow lifted, curious more than anything. Uncertain if it had any weight behind a decision she could rightly make. Still, it bade asking. What made you choose the Oasis?

What a fancy title the other woman had, but well, she wasn't to surprised as the way the woman acted reflected a bit her rank. But with humility she was hoping to get a place to settle, settle to perhaps bring roots but also grow as a lioness. And perhaps this pride would help unlike the one she used to be part of in the far away past. Her face remained calm, as professional as possible but not taking away her essence completely.

"That's actually what I'm looking for, i don't stand intruders and I won't ask for permission should I see one." She acted on her own accord when it came to defend the place she resides. Whatever the ways. "Worry not. I will offer my loyalty and protection." As long as she could trust them as well. She would leave if they appeared weak as a group or bad omens felt. But she would give take the chance and find out later..for now she would stick around them.

"I do. I'm a fighter willing to defend where I live but also a hunter willing to feed the home i stand for." This came without effort as that was who Alma was, someone who would not ask and act later, but act ask later. "I see." She said thinking perhaps she could challenge for it later..not know as she felt that acclimating to the pride should be done first and then she would do the step unless the queen had other ideas.

"Well, if you guys live in a desert it's obvious you must be strong lions, which is what I'm looking for. Tenacity is what I see here and i feel like i would find a good home here. If you'll have me of course." She would be fine if not. @Aidoneus

Tenacity? a strong word, one that hit the ear in a particularly satisfying way. certainly it was a trait that would do them all well to adopt, if they hadn't already. the sands were unkind, something not lost on Aidoneus, knowing her husband disliked the beating sun nearly as much as she did. still, a home was a home, and it was a place their children would thrive.

sighing, a content sound, she gave a ready nod. approvingly, she turned and gestured for @Alma to follow. Come on then, lets give you the tour. her voice went airy, light as she guided her towards her new home. I think you'll fit right in. she added with an affirming smile.

Have you any family? would it be like the Rike? The Sigrun? Would inviting this stranger in their midst be the start of another brontide strike of vendettas and feuds? Aidoneus was growing weary of the politics, deeply gladdened Seneca was there to shoulder the brunt of such responsibility. She wondered what he might think of her taking the initiative of drawing another into their fold. Hopefully, he would be pleased by the increase in their numbers--and ability.

"yah" She grinned, finding the woman funny but wouldnt say that out loud, but again she had respect on @Aidoneous from how she and whoever lived here were to be tough if they were thriving in such harsh place and that kind of place was what she wanted for her, where no weakness had room. Finally the queen gave her the sign to come in, and she nodded respectfully, stepping inside without hesitation.

"I do, but they are far away from here." All she would share about them, them being traditionalistic and for that she was banished from showing disagreement about their costumes, but she was much better without them. "I havent come to Amaryllis in a long while, are there any new i should catch up with?" She wanted to take the chance to know about the recent events. But perhaps she could do that later. She would now have a lot of time to do so. "Kay' please do show me around yeah?" So she wouldn't get lost and make a fucking mess. And in such a thing she was gone. Exit Alma

We have that in common too, family. She'd began to erect her own, birthing into Andal sons and a daughter for her husband. Had yet to reunite with her brother, but she could not help but feel bereft in her lonesomeness. They left a phantom ache, though there was no telling if Alma weathered that feeling the same as she. All the same, it was rather strange being free of expectations, of tradition. A new chapter, a new life. A new you.

Oh, quite a good measure of new.

She paused, a thoughtful smile gripping her lips.

Where to start? she murmured, mostly to herself as she fell into step with @Alma. There was much to share, after all — the mist, new children, the scuffle on the boards, Alaric's departure, the war with Wolfbronn. Quite a lot to cover. It was good to have one to share it all with. It never quite occurred to Aidoneus before, but she seemed to fall into the garb of a gossipy hen quite easily. exit via tour and update.
