six years, level two ranger

He was going to patrol, or perhaps head to the pit and see if anyone was interested in a spar, but instead he spotted prey in the distance and changed his mind. Though summer was here and prey was plentiful in the lands, he knew they shouldn't pass up the chance to hunt for the pride. They had many mouths to feed after all.

Seraphiel stopped a safe distance away and chuffed, calling for others to join him. Hopefully he wouldn't have to do this alone. There had always been a good turnout for this sort of thing, he thought. Surely there would be again.

four years, no perks

Oh look, more food. She'd been coming to these things for a while now so she supposed she ought to keep doing so. Maybe someone would notice her at some point and give her a rank or something so she didn't have to go fight someone for it, considering that wasn't her thing. She had a feeling everyone would be opposed to her poisoning her opponent...

So, yeah, she'd settle for joining Seraphiel in this hunt, actually being the first one to answer his call for once. Actually, it was the first time he'd made the call here she realized. Damn, had he gotten a rank? She guessed she would understand if he had considering he also showed up to these things every time and he actually had a good attitude about it unlike, well, her.

The usual faces had shown up to this thing. But it wasn't the usual ones to arrive first and make the call. But then he supposed Aido was too busy for that now. Either way, Iofiel still answered the call and came out to help. Food was always needed when in the desert and what had been found would easily feed the ever growing pride.

A silent nod was given to two whom already stood ready and waiting for the hunt to begin. He stood by as well, tracking the wildebeest as he waited to see what the turn out would be like.

Vitae was hungry and there was the smell of food on the wind. And the smell of other lions as he neared. Well damn, so much for just a meal for two. Though he supposed that this way there would be more to eat. Perhaps, enough for seconds even. And if not then he could at least secure a portion to share with Haros back at their depression in the sand.

He imagined that his mate was likely still sleeping. Relaxing did seem to be one of Haros's favorite activities. And that didn't really matter much to Vitae. He didn't mind tending to Haros. Besides, he figured that he would be more than rewarded for returning with a tasty treat.

Vitae joined the group of lions gathered there in preparation for a hunt.

4 years, no bonus, pride tier 5 It isn't Aidoneus who has found prey this time, but Seraphiel — a face he doesn't know well, but well enough. A friend of Drakon's, which is enough for Seneca. He moves quietly through the sifting sands, convening with the rest of the gathering lions with an appraising look, taking note of who has answered the call before his gaze turns to the wildebeest below the ridge. It's a solid prospect, and one that will feed the pride for a few days to come; Seneca has never shied away from hard work, and nor does he now. He loiters amongst the rest, waiting for the right moment to engage.

The hunt was on and both of the wildebeest were felled. It was a good hunt with plenty enough meat for awhile. That was why Vitae didn't waste time in going in for the kill and tearing off a large chunk from one of the hooved creature. He figured that the others would do the exact same as him.

So once the lilac male had secured his piece of the prize did he start to move off. He figured to share the meal with Haros since his mate hadn't shown up for it. He figured it would be a nice surprise to wake the other up with.

Vitae Exits

The only one who was really important showed up to the hunt, their sovereign looking around at them presumably to see who was there. She hoped that continuing to show up to these would eventually get her somewhere, because she did so hate going hunting. So much exertion, and for what? It was, she guessed, at least a nice change of pace from the usual for her, but at the same time she didn't exactly enjoy using her teeth and claws.

But, she wasn't going to make that obvious to those around her, and instead pretended she played well with others as they brought the beast down. Good, now she could go do something fun.

Another hunt. Another success. Another silent prayer spoken. They had gotten a good system going even if the faces of the players continued to change. They still managed to come together and to refill the caches as needed. That really was the makings of a good pride. Especially of one that resided in the desert. They needed to help each other out in order to be able to survive. And they did just that.

So with thanks given did the large male make his departure. He took none of the kill for himself as was standard for the medic. He could always find his own meal later. This was just to make certain the pride was looked after first.
