Several days had passed, Elijah did well to heal the golden man's wounds to the point he felt better and could continue his work. Today he made his rounds to the Hollow - which was lead by Pistis's husband - @Gwyn. Golden crown dripped as he neared the borders of the Hollow's pride. With his sea salt and the wild lemony smell of the CHAFF FLOWER he had found in the pit to soothe his wounds, Vasilis would remain on a slight edge though his face would not show it.

He cleared his throat and gave out a call, his mouth did well to heal oddly enough though the injury would leave a nasty scar on his once beautiful unmarried face. Oh well, what was done was done. Honey-dew orbs danced around the area, would Gwyn offer an alliance as Jewel had? Or would he find himself in walking out of this interaction empty-handed? He was unsure but he wanted to try, and so he finally called out for the man, for pistis, for Amra, or whoever would come and seek the attention of his curious ways.

Pistis had come to the border at the sound of his call, recognizing the voice quite easily. She didn’t know where Gwyn was, but was sure he’d be on his way soon. She’d mostly come to help with the peace. Since she knew them both well. She chuffed in greeting as she approached, waving her tail. A smile on the fluffy woman’s face as she stood near the border. Keeping her distance from the other. Not wanting her jealous husband to get any ideas. Perhaps she could even mention her pregnancy if the opportunity arose... hm... but for now she just waited patiently. “You’re healing well.” She observed. Eyes crinkling with her smile. He did indeed look well. Though she herself had some scratches and bruises from that fight with Ambrosine... boy was she a good fighter! But her’s had mostly scabbed over by now. She was impressed at the rate which the new Lagoon’s King was healing, in fact, wondering who’d helped applying his salves. Although, for all she knew, he was a healer like herself. “I hope you and your pride are doing well.” Was her voice a bit... restrained? Perhaps. But she didn’t want a single soul to read their interaction the wrong way. Not that there was a wrong way to read it... they were friends after all. @Vasilis

It has been a few days since... well to say what had happened at his wives fight was a clusterfuck was a bit of an understatement. All he had wanted was to keep his boy from interfering and watch his wife beat the idiot lady to smithereens. Instead some asshat had attacked him and now he is sore and grouchy. Pistis had patched them both up but, still.. it hadn't been necessary. He finished whatever was started with him, yes, but for fucks sake was it overblown and irritating. And while he had gotten to see the first part of her fight, he had been too busy with his fight to see the end. All in all a frustrating day and series of events that he would rather forget.

Except he is very much tired and sore and can't really ignore such things right now.

When Vasilis calls he sighs, heavily, rising from the spot he had been sun basking in. He groaned a little in the private of his sunning stone, noting he would have to ask his wife to look over his wounds again, redress them, and give him something to stave off the pain. Because the simple act of rising to his paws was ouch. Gently, he shakes himself(ow) and pads towards the voice in the dark. Disappearing into the tangle of his lair, his stride unhitched despite the fact he should really be limping.

Appearances were important as a leader. So he grit his teeth and bore the pain as he made his way to the cavern that the Greek man had summoned him from. His wife had beat him here, his mood souring momentarily until he noted their careful distance and her friendly, but overly so words. He appreciated it, the lengths she was going to to keep him happy. As such he gave her a friendly nibble up her spine as he arrived, silent thanks in the action. It was also a possessive gesture but one a fair bit milder than last time the trio had met. He was trying, at least, and when he came to a stop, one wound weeping, he pressed close to the pale woman. Not to guard her, but to silently ask for some support. Had they been alone the skin around his worst injuries and the muscle beneath would be shuddering. As it was, his frame remained rigid, fighting all signs of weakness he could help.

"Dirius" he offered neutrally after a moment. By gods he hoped they would see how much he was trying to give the man a chance thank you. Else this meeting would go downhill fast.

The first was Pistis, he smiled and took in her for shied away position. Which he understood - she was married from what he told her, and thus he would take a step backward from where he was. Showing he meant nothing in trying to 'wiggle' himself around her. He had Jewel to think about, she was his main source of want and desire but he wouldn't press that issue right now. @Pistis it's good to see you as well...and fairing good too." he took in her state, she had some scratches on her snowy body. "Ahah yes. It took me a few days but the wounds are better to deal with now. " he added with a touch to his now mangled features.

It wasn't long before @Gwyn himself showed up and looking as battered as he had witnessed at the Stonehill brawl. But he wouldn't ask how the man got into such a state, he wanted to keep it silent that he was even their for that matter. "Gwyn. You look.....in a lot of pain." he started shifting his eyes over the man as he leaned into his wife. "I'll keep this short since you need the rest. I came to talk about relationships between my home and yours. " he stated matter of factly. "The lagoon is a safe haven, and as such, it is a place of neutrality. This means those who come from the Hollow - the Cove or wandering vagabonds - they are welcome to seek shelter and or find aid in times of need." he informed the pair with a nod. His features are softened as he looked between the two of them.

Vasilis shared the restraint she did, thankfully. If only to spare Gwyn’s feelings. Any other time she would have allowed him closer, as she did with Jewel. Even if he were a man, he was still her friend. That would always be important to the pale lioness. She dipped her head again, “here’s hoping your recovery is speedy and with as little pain as possible.” She hoped this was the case. Suddenly, her spine was bombarded with a quick nip, and she restrained herself from a flinch. Seeing as she wasn’t expecting it, she lightly smacked Gwyn with her tail on his leg. Giving him a smile as if to say, ‘naughty, not here.’ Dirius noted her husband’s... less than ideal state. She cursed herself, thinking it entirely her fault. She was his healer, after all. But he moved on to speak about how he was here to talk about the relationship between the two prides. Which is why Pistis had come along in the first place, really. The bridge between the two men. At his words, she found herself smiling and nodding. It was a noble cause. It was good to know that Jewel and Dirius would be ready if, say, she were traveling near the time to give birth. If she were closer to one of their pride’s then home... well... it would be helpful. She hummed her approval, but didn’t say anything, allowing Gwyn to speak. @Vasilis @Gwyn

The pair were behaving themselves far better than he could have hoped for. Its a pleasure to not have to protect his mate from a man who was too forward in his opinion. His mate slapped him with her tail and he smirked inwardly. The reaction to his nibbles amusing him greatly; he would always be a bit naughty, a bit of a flirt with her.

The amusement that had been subtly dancing in his eyes all but disappeared when the man pointed out his sorry state. His expression going flat. He had gone to pains to hide it and the man did not have the generosity to ignore it like he was. "I'm perfectly fine" he corrects abruptly, cutting off the other male almost mid sentence. Daring the golden male to continue otherwise. Never minds the stiffness with which he held himself or the weight he leaned on his wife. Thanks to her he is healing as well as he could be.

Still, his wife's presence has him managing to hold his temper, to keep from snapping at the males terrible Faux Pas. Letting him reign in his temper and his ire enough to return to the subject at hand. Gods above, he appreciated his wife. "And this is applicable to our relations how?" he queries the other male. Get to the point if you were going to keep things short thank you. Do you want an alliance? A truce? What did you need?

He turns to @Pistis with a silent look before looking back to @Gwyn, what did he say something bad? Was it wrong of him to try and be nice and not let idle chit chat be..well....exasperating? Shrugging it off the golden king would go on with what he came here to do. "The Lagoon is open to all that come to it in times of need. It is our policy to be that sanctuary. As such I ask that regardless of your.....alliances to other pride outside or yours and ours if your pride member or another pride member from somewhere else comes to the Lagoon and seeks refuge - that they are allowed such without hostilities. But we will not harbor evil-doings within our walls. If you seek someone within the Lagoon that has done something punishable in an offense like rape, killing of a child etcetera then they will be brought out without hesitation. I will not permit those souls within my walls at all." he clears his throat. "I am after a treaty of sorts...but if the treaty is broken then so will our ties." he said simply. "My terms of our treaty are simply put.." he sways his weight and clears his throat.

"I do not wish to seek out enemies between those around me, And even if we have...differences in our leadership, I hope that we can respect each other's homes. Trespassing will not be tolerated though as I have many to consider the well being of, just as I am assure you do as well." he turned to Pistis with another nod, he didn't want to leave her out of the conversation between himself and Gwyn. "Those who come into the Lagoon without permission by myself, will be met with restrained retaliations unless provoked otherwise. Those of the Hollow - and Outsiders as well, are welcome to fish on the western opening of the Lagoon closest to the isthmus of Amaryllis and the Lagoon itself. Places marked with hanging skeletons of fish are welcomed by travelers and other pridelands to take temporary refuge from the weather if they are stuck near the lagoon. But I ask that if your members seek to head further in if the weather is beyond safe that they call for me first before just running into the lagoon without permission first. The same is that I ask of your home - that if anyone from the lagoon is stuck out in bad weather that they are allowed temporary shelter until they can leave. And that they are respected while they remain under your doorstep. As yours will be respected on our lands as long as they don't break our terms and way of life." he nodded. He was hoping this was all sweet and to the point. A good treaty of sorts.

Gwyn became defensive, as Pistis presumed he would, and at Diuris’ glance, she did a sort of micro-shrug. Sort of a ‘don’t worry about it.’ Pistis could tell her husband was not truly that upset. Or he would have said something more. No, Diuris would be just fine as long as he no longer brought up his state. Gwyn seeming to want to rush this conversation along, Pistis wishing he had a bit more patience. They’d want to know more about a pride before just offering alliances all over the place, yes? But Diuris explained himself further, and Pistis listened. At the mention of safe-harbor, she nods. He had mentioned this during the claim for his pride, too. The one where Gwyn took a chunk out of Ambrosine’s husband. Differences in leadership... well that was true enough. Gwyn believed a bit more in the idea of claiming, and it did not bother Pistis too much. She didn’t really see a problem with giving women or children a home, honestly. Pistis would prefer if they had more choice in the matter but... she’d not put much thought to it. All of the things he said Pistis could agree with. A small area for fishing, offering shelter to those who needed it... well, it was all very thoughtful, really. She glanced at Gwyn before speaking. “I think you’ve taken up a noble cause, Diuris, one I can admire.” She said nothing else in the matter, the choice was Gwyn’s after all. But hopefully he would form the treaty with the Lagoon. For the sake of everyone. @Gwyn @Vasilis
