He was proud of the wee woman trying to protect him and her quick thinking with the stranger's intrusion had to be rewarded. So as the various parties left, he glanced at her, requesting her to stay behind. To wait with him until they were alone. Then, and only when he was sure of theme being the only two remaining, did he pay her heed. "Your bravery and your actions deserve commendation " he states simply. Turning to face the petite woman, letting his amusement show a touch as he continued. "Perhaps a little overzealous towards my son, but well done. You will become baroness. And..." he continues the last word a croon. The man stepping in now, his teeth aiming for her ruff, to tease and groom. Indicating his much more private and much more intimate celebration. He had taken her before, but now? Now, he wanted to show her how proud he was with his body. Only if she was willing of course, but her actions from earlier spoke of interest in lying with her king once more. Mmmmm it was good to be high sovereign.

The threats dealt with, her King’s lands safe, she quite rightfully felt deserving of Gwyn’s attentions as he asked her to stay back with him. Inwardly she preened, drinking up his gaze whilst she had it on her, mentally committing his words to heart. Her bravery. Her actions. Oh the joy of recognition set her pulse thumping and it showed clear as day on her beautiful features, pale blues glinting awestruck at her sovereign, thankful happiness showing as he went as far as to offer her a title.

Baroness! Dia, a baroness... Just Gwyn’s approval of her, his quiet amusement and his balefire eyes burning holes through her felt reward enough. This was just a bonus - a bonus that sent her very bones singing.

She gladly let him come in to tease her scruff, whispering a quiet “Thank you...” for both giving her a title and rewarding her with his affections. She only allowed it for a moment though. Bolstered by her success and the King’s words, Dia was riding high on confidence. She bravely ducked out from under his teasings, looking back at him over her shoulder and flicking him playfully with her tail.

”And....” she begun, picking up where the beast took off, “You can have your baroness,” she breathed, voice low and husky as she watched him through lidded eyes, her lashes casting shadows over her petite features, “If you can catch me, that is.”

With that, she cast a clever smile at him, and began to run back to the hollow, knowing he would catch her should he choose to pursue - she wasn’t truly running as fast as she could. Then he could take her wherever he caught her, she was assured of that, and her expression told him as much too.

The beast basks in her adoration, her utter devotion to him and his praise. His ego has always been large, and any fawning only causes it to grow. Her thank you earns her a rumbling purr mixed with a chuckle. He does not say your welcome. It's not needed, nor was it a trouble for him to reward those who serve him well. Fear is a powerful tool to rule, but he found praise, when given appropriately, was more effective. So he wielded both like weapons, getting those beneath him(in all senses of the word) to obey to bow. With her, though, a little bit of praise, a little bit of bedroom action and she is a happy camper. Easy to please she was, and the man is more than happy to kill two birds with one stone. Giving himself the adoration and release he craved and her the approval and attention she wanted.

Her reactions to his attentions has him smiling, his paw about to lift to take her then and there. However she disappeared, and the man let out a little grunt as her tail flicked him. Hello unwanted delay. Her words had him frown a little, her retreating form not followed for a beat. The beast debating if he wanted to hunt her before this.

However, before she got too far away, he decided that yes, he wished to pursue her.

So the hulking beast broke into a lope, giant frame carrying him across ground more quickly than her wee frame did at a slower gait. Devouring the space between them, the large man surprisingly nimble despite his bulk. Until, finally he is close enough to pounce. And a glorious pounce it is, launched from just out of reach of her rump. Limiting the amount of distance it had to travel so he would not hurt her when he caught her, trapped her, devoured his prey. The newfound baroness. ""

The brute's irritation made her light up, although you wouldn't notice it looking at her. The fact that he still followed her regardless sent her soaring, and when he caught her she went down willing against the dusty earth, small body cleaved open for his machinations as he came atop her.

She went to the ground easily, clipped breath coming out of her throat as his weight pinned her. "Gwyn-!" she gasped as she was caught, trapped beneath his great bulk, feeling as though she'd been served on a platter for his feasting hunger. As they settled, she leant her head back, aiming to nip him around the ear should he be close enough and if not, to lay a kiss on his cheek, almost fond in her affections, rather than playful.

This man grew on her conscience every day, and she knew having him in this close capactiy was a feeling she absolutely adored - a feeling she would chase until her heart was content.

Gwyn, decides he doesn't mind this game too much when his pounce is successful. When he traps her much smaller form beneath his pinning her. A snicker escapes him as she calls his name, her speech both an admonishment and something that spurred him on. Her nip had him rumbling his purr of approval his hulking form slithering up her body. Aligning them so he could feast. While he may be the apple of her eye, more and more, the man thought of her as a friend, a distraction, someone to fuck when his appetite got to be too much for his single wife. She wasn't special like he was to her. Not that he didn't appreciate her bravery, or her body or the fact she was his member. She just wasn't on the pedestal she had so rightfully placed him on. This time he isn't quite as gentle, needing a little bit of the roughness he had found lacking last time. Not as much as he would give to someone larger, but enough to give him the edge he needs. So he joins them in the dance they both had been craving.
