@Úlla, @Leviathan, and @Baphomé did a little oopsie and now úlla's carrying kids from both men. the dads will not be active in their upbringing but will be told that they have kids. anyone is welcome to try out for the # cubs that are not taken by koa/me/daanyen. there is an adoption clause wherein cubs will be put up for adoption should they are close to falling inactive.

family — they will be related to the sigrún, blackmont, and the dieudonné. they will also have several half-siblings from úlla and baph. all children will carry the sigrún family name, but leviathan's children may add on the 'blackmont' family name once they meet him. as baph did not reveal his heritage to úlla, the children will not carry the dieudonne family name. in addition, the children will experience their first drowning as newborns and their second drowning as yearlings as per sigrún custom.
misc. — the plan is for úlla to raise the children in the lagoon, under the protection of her and her kin. they will also speak fluent icelandic, but they may pick up french from baphomé and/or pirate lingo from leviathan. both dads will not be directly involved, but they may visit the children. there is a non-zero chance levi might actually attempt a kidnapping esp if he finds out about the drownings but he is fairly absent so he might not even know for awhile. i am willing to pay for a cub sex change as i do want at least one boy in this litter.

she is born from the sea in many ways from the softness of her brow to the undercurrent of life that ebbs and flows. a temperamental creature by nature with moods as calm and as turbulent of the waters that call to her. baptized in the cruel cold waters of her people, she will own them like a tempest regalia. hydra will be as fearsome as her namesake and just as relentless. the world is a vast place and the idea of exploring it will dive deep and set in her bones. an adventurer's heart is a siren's call to her and she will often find herself in a coin-flip with chaos. bred into battle and power, there is no arch of which hydra will not become a fearsome opponent. the only thing stopping her from taking over the world, honestly, is the lack of responsibility etched in her bones. she will carry her father's languid manners, his ease of life, and the laziness that settles in the art of being given such serious responsibilities. a revolutionary, boisterous woman she will emerge with a need to make her own way in her own way. there is a jovial cheeriness about her that hides the dark undercurrent that ripples beneath the surface: the serpent coiled in the belly of her gut ready to wreak havoc.


a berserker coiled behind a sweet face -- she's sunny, even-tempered, and clever (although like most clever people, probably not quite as clever as she thinks she is). she is irrepressible and impulsive, but also loyal and kind-hearted. hydra generally has a mild temper, but instances of cruelty or injustice really make her lose it. she's far more likely to be hot-headed than my other girls but is also quite soft-hearted in the privacy of those trusted. though very social, hydra seeks out and values time alone, especially enjoying the quiet rush of the ocean, or solitary on the cliffs overseeing the vast emptiness of it. much too lazy to start a fight on her own, she will finish it with a bloodied smile. she also will jump to the defense of others but her main goal will always be to give her friends and loved ones a sense of peace and safety.

History ;

sjóbarn was born to Úlla, the eldest of his littler and from day one it was clear he was Leviathans son. He bore the mans pelt and markings, the only markings that his mother gave being the gradient on his legs and face, there would be no doubt. sjóbarn almost revelled in the fact, that even if he was from a split litter, it was clear who his father was. It was clear who’s blood ran through his veins. That of his absence perhaps father, and his strong Sigrun mother.

Personality;
sjóbarn was blessed with size and strength, there was no way he wouldn’t use it- spars, battles, whatever it be- he loved it. It also showed in many ways how he’d inherited his father’s love of swearing. In anger or frustration even as a cub he’d swear, but very rarely in front of his mother. For dispite being a strong and capable young lad, he was always a mother’s boy, swearing to protect her even if his Papa had left. For Úlla gave him the blood that ran threw his veins, and the sharp brains in his head, so therefore she was honoured by him. In so many ways she was his hero- even if she’s not the queen of a kingdom- she’s the queen of his heart. Soft spoken words of wonder directed at her, there would be little Úlla could do to anger him.

Dispite being so clever and a decent fighter using his brute strength- his temper would be his downfall. In anger (or casual conversation, if I’m honest) swear words and harsh insults rage from his mouth. One of his favourite sayings of anyone tries to stop him is- “I have pirate blood in my veins so if I don’t get my pirate hat at least I can swear like one- so why don’t you shown that up your wrinkled, crusty ass you blithering beast.”

Or simply in his Icelandic mother tounge “Deyja tík,”

Yes, a civilised man of culture- unless in one of his strops. Of course, sjóbarn rarely shows that he care what others think of the way he talks. Their opinions don’t matter, only vellen’s and his mothers.

The web pawed vellen warrior is a giant on battle, having little hesitant and little pity towards his families enemies. Very little at all. But in many ways, he’s not bad. He’s rather kind and thoughtful in a way. His love often is shown through actions and not words.


Relationships;

Mother; His mother is his hero. A legend amongst children’s bed time tales. When he hears of tails from her reign and after, his inherited green eyes sparkle with awe. Whatever his mother wants of him, he shall give. Whatever she asks, she shall do. Whoever hurts her, he will hurt them more. No matter what trails he faces, his loyalty to her will be undying.

Father; Even if his papa isn’t involved, sjóbarn will hold him in a somewhat high regard. Not in the way he would his mother. But helt close none the less. It is unsure of what he will think of his father as time passes, being a total mama’s boy, poor old dad will forever be stuck in second place.

Cub 2; Dispite this sibling not sharing his own father, sjóbarn still respects them. His loyalty undying. It is unknown on how the pair will get along, but he wouldn’t purposely hurt her. Relationship tbd

-He has a chipped tooth at the back of his mouth due to falling off a rock and hitting the side of his mouth on a crab as a very young cub

-Sjóbarn tends to sing as he walks when going somewhere

-Very unnerved by crabs. It’s an issue okay!

-With his webbed paws he loves to swim, tending to go quite deep to explore the sea, it makes him feel close to vellen.

-Sjóbarn gets very unnerved if he feels like the sea is too far away from him, often causing his to get panicked even if it doesn’t show.

-He has 3 different distinct accents- An Icelandic one, a clear English accent, and a pirate talk like one.

-He tends to sometimes go tone death when it comes to these, swapping between accents without being aware.

-Sjóbarn is very vellen obsessed, valuing vellen above all else. Except his mother, who could slay vellen and spit in the boy’s face but he’d still go around preaching her brilliance.

this child is a true spawn of the sea: he is harsh, bitter, stoic. a combination of his parents and of the sigrún-dieudonné lineage he comes from. he is stubborn, unyielding and quick to judge, who often finds it difficult to see past his own desires. despite this, this child will be utterly fearless, ready to leap into anything. he is not prone to outbursts of anger or impulsive violence; everything he does seems to be for some sort of calculated purpose, though others might not be able to perceive it. he will happily wind and torment his siblings, simply because it is fun. but don't take his brash tormenting as malice: the boy will be fiercely protective of his sisters (and brother if the litter is like this), to the death. family is everything, and he will give anything to make sure they are safe.

the boy possesses an unnerving coyness to him, tranquil and detached in the face of danger and mildly playful (but never indulgent in idle whims). he isn't particularly arrogant, either, in the sense that he doesn't have a sense of entitlement - he just does what he feels like, and is self-assured in his own power and abilities.

Emrik Sigrún

Resilient, loyal, intuitive, reckless, devout —

He is all these things and more. A loyal hound in the Sigrún clan, it’s clear that Emrik belongs to the ocean. He is not driven by fame or power; he is not particularly aggressive either. Rarely does anything bother him enough to provoke a reaction. If anything, he seems a rather stoic boy. In the end, he doesn't care what impression he leaves on those outside his family and Vellen.

A quick learner, eager to prove himself. Often finds a challenge in everything and rises accordingly. Raised to be a loyal member of his family and uphold tradition, it is no wonder the boy takes his heritage seriously. Hard on himself, worse so when he is beaten or fails at whatever challenge is set. The expectations his mother has on him have nothing on the ones he put on himself. He does not need to be the best, but he must prove himself a true Sigrún. Whatever the cost or reason.

Perhaps the obvious truth is that he is more like his father than first meets the eye. The feral, untamed streak runs deep through Emrik’s heart. He naturally leans toward the wild and restraint-free life, yet tradition and Sigrún values hold him back, chains around his neck almost choking tight. His fate has yet to be determined, whether he will sink with the weight of his bonds or swim despite it.
