They had gathered together under Seneca's leadership. A rhino had been spotted and then subsequently taken down. That was certainly enough meat to last for awhile. Of course eh expected Genya to have of the largest share as she had cubs to feed. And like usual Iofiel would refuse to take any portion of the meat. He never took from pride kills. Sure, he was part of the pride but he didn't feel entitled to taking food brought down by others.

What he did do was bow his head and mouth his usual prayer. He thanked the prey for the sacrifice of life so that they might continue their own. He paid honor and respect to the deceased in an attempt to appease the Rwh it would subsequently produce.

With this done the large male turned silently away to go and find something else for himself to eat. Perhaps there might be a hare that hadn't been scared far away by all the ruckus that the hunt had caused.

Iofiel Exits

They make out with a substantial kill -- it's no laughing matter to take down a rhinoceros, and a satisfied smirk flashes across the sovereign's lips as it falls. It is plenty to feed the pride for a few days yet to come, promising good fortune until they need to hunt again. Seneca wastes little time in wrenching at the warm flesh, filling his belly and leaving bloodstains upon the mixed tones of his lips. When everyone has had their fill, he helps those who remain to haul the leftovers back to the pride's cache, satisfied with their results for the night.

It wasn't every day that you saw a stupid rhino wandering around in the desert, add that to the fact that all of them managed to work together relatively well in falling the beast and you could say that it was a pretty successful day. Kira was pleasantly surprised to see she was a bit winded after everything was said and done, but then again she didn't go around hunting rhinoceroses so that was to be expected. The blue woman would flash a gaze towards the others gathered, noting each of them for future recognition before she would turn swiftly on her heel and head back towards her own den. Now what would Rameses think when she would tell him that she had brought down a rhino as her first kill in their new home? Surely that would be an interesting conversation.

The thrill of the hunt coursed through his veins and lent a thunder to his paws. Past wins and losses were forgotten as he dove in to the hunt, keen to assist in the felling of such a significant prey. It was a blessing to find something so large for them to take down; and it was sheer skill that kept them all safe from harm in the process. With blood on his lips and a full belly he hauls a large piece back home, pleased to be able to help with ensuring the well-being of the pride for a time to come. - exit -

All their masculine bulk would be a blessing to this party in particular, it would seem; the rhinoceros that breached the horizon and caught their attention was a large and hardy specimen. All of their efforts would be needed for this one, as well as their wits. By the time their labours were over, Ebrahim had certainly worked up a fair appetite; he hunkered down and tore a substantial chunk away from the carcass, savouring his share before - almost begrudgingly - doing his duties as a ranked gentleman and assisting with bringing the remnants back to the food caches.
