Despite having start this fight, Gareth was sworn in to finish it. Declaring war upon his tail and breaking it near to its base. Gareth rumbled a loud, guttaral snarl as he viciously pushed the heathen away from him. Standing tall and vigilant, a monster having replaced what was a typically very soft guy. Leave! he shouted angrily, beginning to realize the small audience that he had made for himself and wishing that he could have done this without the fanfare. Gareth didn't want any of the Brook members to have to witness this. To have to see, again, that this is what happened when you're forced to defend yourself and your home. Do not come back. For @Tyr was not welcome here and perhaps next time, Gareth would take more than just a tail.

Ragnarok Awaits

Tyr's tail had been caught in the crossfire! The male was merciless, snapping it near to the base with a sickening crunch! Tyr released a blood-curdling cry, muzzle to the sky, eyes pressed closed and bloody fangs exposed against the extreme pain. Still, when he finally managed to compose himself and bring his mind back to the man who now held his amputated tail in his maw, he was pushed to the side. In the weakness in his legs, trembling from the pain, he fell to the ground, blood dripping from many places and causing red mud to soak through his white pelt. He glared at the man with intense hatred, lip curled in a twisted snarl as he commanded the Heathen leave his home and never return. Tyr turned, then, to the audience that had gathered.

"Be proud of your champion! Rather than spare a rabbit, this man would just as soon damn a Yearling as a liar and leave him mutilated at your door!"

He looked back at the man he had been fighting.

"I will return, you have something that belongs to me now."

His tone was dark and deadly serious as his eyes made sure to remember this man's face. Tyr stood, and turned his back on them all. As a parting gift, he'd fling his gnarled nub in the male's direction in one last attempt to disrespect him and spatter him with blood.

All the striped male could see as the male turned around and snarled at him was an entitled child. A yearling that clearly didn't seem to think that he had done anything wrong at all. He hadn't even bothered to ask for a rabbit, instead had chosen to lie and say that he had been chasing one. Yet there was no scent of one that had ran in their direction. Crossing a border of a pride with many children? Gareth wasn't going to stand for and was going to do everything in his power to protect his loved ones. So Tyr's cry of potential vengeance did little to the striped Taur. Even the disrespect of blood smattered across his face did nothing. He had done nothing wrong here, only protecting what could have been broken. If he hadn't a wife he cherished and there weren't newborns here, he might have offered a different solution to this supposed issue but things had changed. He had changed; and thus as the male exited Gareth turned and loped off towards the nearest tree. His energy having been spent and desiring nothing more than to exist on the floor. Hoping that Ariadne understood her limits when it came to fighting but to never back down, even when the odds are unfair. exit gareth

her crown nodded absently towards @Tullia as she explained what had happened to spur such violence, but it did little to quell the anxiety pooling within nymeria's chest. she was left to watch, helpless and afraid, as her husband fought and bled for them; an act that was bittersweet, no matter how the story was spun. because she loved him for it. she cherished him for his devotion and his faultless loyalty. but she loathed the fact that he needed to partake in this in the first place. the queen's eyes would continue to shift between the challenge and @Ariadne, ensuring that she remained put until the chaos of the battle was over, lest she risk getting hurt as well.

when it was all said and done, however, nymeria found some sort of solace in the fact that @Gareth was victorious, and left the sputtering yearling to wail and make his exit as needed. the valour knew her husband well enough to know that he would not attack without good reason, and so the threat of his character fell upon deaf ears. the promise of further violence, however, struck a much deeper chord within the woman, adrenaline hitching in her throat as she finally pulled herself back to her feet in a rushed and purposeful fashion. "sister, will you please watch ariadne for a little while? i'm going to gather a few things for gareth." she asked as her head swiveled in tullia's direction, hoping that she would understand and be able to keep an eye on her daughter, at least until they were positive that the battered trespasser had truly vacated their home. pausing only a moment more to hear the answer to her question, nymeria would quickly look to pluck herself from her position and move off in the direction of her mate, intent on caring for him in all the ways that she could. exit.
