Kasia still hadn't met all of those living within the pride. Rather than her focus being on the social aspects it had been on food instead. She was working hard to prove herself as a hunter. She wanted to show that she could provide and be counted upon for that. Maybe then she could branch out and get to know the other members of the pride. And maybe her brothers would eventually come here as well. But first she was set on establishing herself as a hunter.

They had listened to her when she had previously called for a hunt and she had shown she knew what she was talking about when she had taken down one of the prey. Would they listen again? How much repetition was needed? Sure, she was young enough still but hunting was something she had always had a knack for.

A call was sent up as Kasia followed the scent of prey, welcoming others to join her for this endeavor.

the trilling call rouses the sigrun chimera from her doze. she rises obligingly, stretching hard and cracking her spine before turning to amble in the direction the roar came from. it seems... curious to hunt in the hollows and saga can't help the intrigue that settles on her shoulders on how they'll do it. the walls press too close, some nights, and she longs for the open seashores and soft lullaby of the sea, instead. she still can't see what drew magnus to the hallow halls; perhaps a flair for the dramatic.

saga approaches the youth, eyeing her critically with that bland brown stare. her gaze flicks the length of the half-maned girl and a brow quirks in a silent question, sending her eyes through the quiet darkness. without saying anything, the woman settles her weight on one hip, cocking it to the side as she waits for the rest of the troops to arrive so they might fill the pride's cache.

STATS: Seven years old, no trade bonuses.

Once again, @Kasia was showing initiative. The High Sovereign was one of the first to heed the call of the Durinn girl, but he had been close by; it did not take him long to pin down her location. @Saga was present, alert and ready as expected. Magnus offered both lionesses a chuff of acknowledgement. Kasia, he rumbled, mismatched gaze shifting from her to the Gentry. Sister. He would nod, then, before lapsing back into silence. This was not the place for small talk, after all, and he had the feeling that his company would be just fine with that. All that was left to do now was to wait, see who else would attend, and then make a game plan.

Hopefully sooner rather than later.

Though worried about the continued absence of her sister, Morrigan was forced to remind herself that she had gone far longer without her presence and was being selfish. Regardless, she was happy for the distraction that was a call for a hunt and eagerly left her empty den to find the source of the call. She wasn't the first to answer the call and she would find @Saga and @Magnus already with @Kasia. Morrigan waved her dark tail tip in greeting at the trio but otherwise remained silent, waiting for a directive on what it was they were here to hunt today.

Wolfgang isn't a skilled hunter, but he was not afraid of participating when sufficiently motivated. Hunger was one such incentive, and the habit of providing for his family. Although he didn't yet know many of his pridemates in the hollow, a healthy pride would mean his mates would be safer.

Wolfgang approaches the gathering with a searching gaze, glancing amongst those he did not know the names of. The petite clay woman had called the hunt, and others had emerged from the tunnels. A white-and-steel lioness, and a very tall dark man who the Bezra realises by scent must be Magnus; mentioned by Nadia at the passage. Beside them, another ashen figure marked in white who was similarly unknown.

"Divines bless our hunt." he utters, a helpful prayer.

he doesn't like hunting here. the hallways are too small, too cramped, too dark. it reminds him of worse places, of worse times; it's hard to stay grounded when all you can see and smell is stone and damp and blood. but the petite huntress calls, and he wasn't keen on ignoring her. hurried paws bring the medic to the gathered group, surely bringing up the rear given how much time had passed between kasia's call and now. he chuffs quietly as he joins them, pale gaze swinging to each in turn -- noting the two unfamiliar faces. were they new here, then? his attention lingers on @Wolfgang as the man's quiet prayer reaches him, giving a quiet and respectful pause to his words. a fluttering smile is given, too, before his attention shifts -- pulling himself up to his full height, intent on looking Serious and Ready To Hunt.

Level 5 Ranger, 4 years old

Avaneira arrived. Late, but there nonetheless; she was breathless, and her scent made it clear that she'd been wandering outside of the dusty Hollow. Her fur was unkempt, eyes wide and wild, plush chest heaving with each purposeful breath as she made her way up to @Morrigan. Always was she willing and able to hunt, but she was thankful it was @Kasia taking up the initiative, for Avaneira made a poor leader when it came to finding the courage to interact with others. Still was she clutched by fear of the unknown. Slinking by her sister's side, her eyes briefly flitted to @Magnus, before all those else present, readying herself for the hunt that was to come and hoping she'd still have enough energy to complete it. But by now, Ava had mastered the skill of the hunt, and the idea of it still excited her, despite her tiredness.

age 4; lvl 2 Ranger

Úlla was now familiar with the call of the hunt. She had arranged a hunting party here not too long ago, the bongo meat still stashed somewhere in her den. With deliberately loud steps, she made her presence known, ears pinning to her skull as she searched for a place to situate herself amongst the group. Among them, the obsidian noble noticed @Magnus and @Saga. Due to the situation, Úlla decided not to greet them, but to carefully place herself near them. This time, she hoped for a bigger prey - an elephant calf or even a young elephant. She thought there could be much to go around if they were able to take one down. The hollows had many rooms with high ceilings for such a creature to fit.

Dijana welled up with excitement at the sound of another pride lioness's call to action. The last time she had joined in on a group hunt each of the lionesses showed their skill and tenacity in taking down the prey, and she began to walk a little faster at the thought of missing out on doing this again. Dijana rounded a corner and was instantly struck by the presence of so many lions--especially ones that were strange to her.
"Hello, hello," she greeted in a hushed whisper, aware of the surprise needed in their task and yet unable to go entirely silent as she approached the group. Her gaze lingered a moment longer on Magnus than the others, impressed that a king should bother to hunt with the members of his pride. She crouched low with the intention of proving her skill to all of those gathered.

The carmine noible did so happen to be a big fan of putting herself in the midst of her pride mates. More than that, though, she loved being able to show off her skill and knowledge as a hunter. She might not be a ranger by any means but she knew the lay of the land rather well so she easily slid among a few of her Hollow pride mates. Casually keeping an eye on them, looking to Kasia under the assumption that it was she who was going to lead them to their victory. With so many lions present, surely it would be no trouble in securing themselves a nice lunch.
