She was blissfully unaware. Even though it was very apparent to her protector and the younger girl; Sakura was ever the gently flower being blown on the wind. She didn't mind that they seemed to have their eyes on her constantly; it just meant that they where there to protect her and Sakura was very thankful to be protected. Clueless was an unkind word, for she wouldn't just assume that one night with a male would be all it took; in fact she denied it. That was a better word. Denial. She couldn't be anything and their heavy eyes were only because Akuma worried, he was that way. Very kind and a worrier.

The fog that had been so deep and heavy that one could swirl it away with a flick of a paw lifted in the early morning, suddenly as if blown away by the breath of a god. Sakura's head lifted and blinked at the brightness of the sky and the sound of an ocean touching her ears. That was funny, even with a thick fog the sounds of the surf should have been more then obvious with how close the sea was to their sleeping place.

How she loved the sea. It had saved her twice, and only one time try to harm her. Or was it two times? Either way, that was either a washout or a positive and there for Sakura only saw it as a good thing. Morning sun glittered accross the water and the peachy lioness just had to walk forward. Had to feel the wet sand under her paws, had to dip her toes into the water and keep walking. When the waves were up to her chest she paused feeling the ebb and flow of the waves gently sway her body. She missed the sea.

'Oh good gods. Get out of there before a rogue wave drags your ass under. ' this was the thought that growled exasperated thorough his thoughts as the bronze male approached with an exasperated exhale
The sound of which was likely covered by the soft rising and falling roar of ocean waves.

What came out of his mouth as he approached from behind and slightly to one side was considerably more... edited. Just as the waves started to lick at his ankles he would call out. "Come back to the shore." in a pleasant enough and calm tone.

Was he a worrier? When it came to certain things yes. Like the ditzy flower managing to find various ways to get herself killed in an unknown land while carrying his cubs. Or getting them killed. God's they better not come out like her or it would be a struggle to keep them alive to a year. Oy.

The thought almost brought a scowl to his face ...almost. But the faint handsome smile remained. It was not her fault after all. The poor thing was either born this way or dropped on her head as a cub he figured. She DID try however and was not defiant or mouthy, so it was...moderately acceptable. Moderately.

The waves felt nice against her chest. Her eyes closes softly as she felt the sun on her face, this place was beautiful, perfect. The fog had been a bit of a bother, but now that it was gone it was easy to see the land beyond the strip of sand. She was so glad Akuma had brought her with him here, and not for the first time she wondered how he'd found it. Oh, speaking of! Her head turned at the sound of his rumbling voice a smile spread over his face. "Akuma, the water is lovely." She declared as if she knew his thoughts had gone to the possibility of her being swept out to sea. She did turn, however, taking several steps towards the other lion. "Did you sleep well?" She asked sweetly, to gentle for the company she was in.

She turned to smile at him, speaking about how the water was lovely. He gave a slightly pained little smile in response. He was sure it was, however...
"I'm glad. But we don't know the local dangers yet, so come back out for now." you know, like undertow, sharks, jellyfish, and all that 'lovely' stuff he had the misfortune of running into earlier in life.

"I did. The sound of the waves is pleasant. You really like the sea don't you?" his gaze drifts from her, out over the water, then back to her. Maybe he could find a place nearby to settle in at. Not TOO close incase one of those damn huge waves hit again, but close enough to be an hour or so walk so she could visit the water often.

He was a worrier. It made her smile, even as she moved closer so that his piece of mind was satisfied, though she still lingers in the surf, the waters lapping at her paws. "I do," She replied with a happy chime to her voice. "The sea saved me when... when I..." She blinked her eyes doping to the sand at her feet. Normally she couldn't talk about such things, but time had done its healing on this wound and this time she felt like the walls that protected her didn't need to be so thick. "I was little. He was chasing me and I ran. Ran until the ground vanished. But the sea saved me. Brought me to a little island... I'm... I'm thankful to it." And unafraid of it. It was still frightening, but the memory was older now, easier to take. Others, well, they still hurt too much.
