In the past couple of days, Khadija had been mourning her friend's gruesome way to leave this world, on the jaws of the Tollaire. And of course the news didnt go well within her family, as all of them were fond of the gray lioness, who she called a sister.

Yet as the days went by, she knew she had to fulfill one last act of love, an act that hopefully would allow part of Miaran to live on, the cubs she had delivered not long before her death. It was the least she could do, and not only for her but for her own children's safety. Knowing that until those cubs were back to their rightful place, a huge target would have fallen upon her cubs and family, she wasn't going to allow that. She was smart and knew better.

Accompanied by @Angelo and her daughter Lyla, they carried the three tiny cubs all the way from the thicket to the brook. There could be a risk, so she kept her daughter at hair distance from her. She was carrying the plum(Esme) girl while her other companions were assigned the other two girls.

She arrived to the borders, keeping the cub carefully held by her scruff before calling for Velasco, who was their father and the one she guessed would be the most interested in having them back. Though she doubted the leaders would miss this.

"Don't leave my side," She said to Lyla.

Esme X'uekai

The plum cub had been oblivious to the world's events following her birth. All she knew were her sister and the comfy that she had been growing into. And the day where it all was left behind, the curious new world that opened before her eyes gave her more than fear, a sense of excitement and hunger for it. Carried by the lioness's jaws, she stood there, still by instinct. Tucking her paws against her small frame. That until they arrived at an unknown place, where unknown to her, her father lived within and more of her yet-to-get to know family.

Maybelline was angry. She had been sleeping which was important. Often she woke up to the feeling of warm noses, or the need for milk, but that was fine because she wanted to wake up for that and then she could go back to sleep all warm and content. Now she was experiencing a strange lack of a floor and a consistent rocking motion which was kinda like a heartbeat, but worse, because it involved swinging back and forth and there was no warm mommy to cuddle again, just nothing but air and - on top of all that, it was getting colder, and she was eepy.

"Eep!" she squeaked when whoever was carrying her chanced to reposition her in such a way that her scruff-stillness reflex slipped and she was able to move. She also kicked her suddenly heavy hindquarters out, squirming, and though her front paws were only able to twitch they did so with the conviction that whoever was behind this deserved to die.

Lyla didn’t need to be told twice to stay close to her mother. In fact she was walking near enough to @Khadija she occasional brushed a shoulder against the older lioness. The cub she carried between her jaws, @Maybeline Miaran had named her, felt like she weighed a million pounds as the girl carried her such a long distance. It didn’t help that when she tried to readjust her into a more comfortable grip the child started throwing a tantrum. Why was she being so difficult? Lyla was sure she’d been an absolute angle at her age. "Stop moving so much." she attempted to mutter to the cub - though it was difficult as her jaws her otherwise occupied by said cub. There was a fear and a sadness to the girl. Her heart ached so terribly bad, she had no idea she could feel emotions this strong. Not even being plucked from her oceanside home had hurt this much. She just wanted to be rid of this cubs and go home to sleep. It was their fault her friend was dead and she’d have nothing to do with them.

Look, it definitely wasn't that he didn't trust these Brook lions further than he could throw them. That wasn't why he'd asked to come along. (No, seriously, it wasn't, get off his back). It was because he knew anyone could get aggressive when it came to their kids, especially when they were as young as these ones were and when the situation was how it was. So yeah, of course he'd go along with @Khadija, especially when @Lyla was going too, since the woman had already been attacked at the death match and he didn't want anything happening to her or the cubs if someone got a wild hair.

It was a good thing he'd come along anyway, because there was another cub that needed to be hauled along from the Hollow to the Brook. If it had been just Khadija and Lyla, they might have had a hard time dealing with the extra cub, but since he was along for the ride it was simple. Granted, he would have been perfectly content to haul them all, letting two ride on his broad back, but it didn't need to come to that. And so they arrived at the border easily enough and his tufted ears pressed forward to hear the approach of someone from within the pride.

Velasco X’uekai

Restless the monster was restless.

Waiting had never been this torturous, never been this maddening but the hours, the days, passed like slugs on a rock. Ever since @Cassius ♔ had informed him that his girls were alive and would be delivered to their doorstep by the third thief the monster had loomed like a shadow at their borders. They were his and he would have them back.

When the summons of an unknown yet not unrecognized voice echoes the monster is not far. His darkened limbs take him to them, pink eyes locking onto the trio and his ears twitch and the agitated sway of his tail betraying his otherwise calm exterior. His daughters, they had his daughters.

For what else could they be? His pink eyes divert to the girls, two bear less resemblance to him their colors, well colorful. But it doesn't matter won't matter he had been promised three daughters and three they had brought. They were his, his children, his flesh and blood.

"Mis hijas" my daughters There is an almost relieved and joyful breathlessness to his words as he approaches the trio. The softness of the words stands in contrast to the turmoil in his head. To fight, to take back what is his by force and in doing so risking their lives. Or wait, wait for fate to reveal her cold cruel hand.

"You've brought my daughters home" he stops eyes shifting to the adults, the unknown silver man (@Angelo) and the third thief (@Khadija)
